It was the school festival. Onew was so busy with the activities. There are a lot of fun games after the program. They already planned something on how to to bring Mina and Taemin together. Key and Jonghyun are in charge of finding Mina while Minho was the one keeping an eye on Taemin.
Key and Jonghyun found Mina at the rooftop and she's with Yuri.
"What are two lovely ladies doing up here?", asked Key, Jonghyun was trailing behind him. Mina greeted them with a smile while yuri just looked at them. "Aren't you gonna join the fun stuff?", Key asked them.
"No, we're not really that interested", Mina answered.
"What? but it's so much fun out there. This doesn't happen everyday so you must join. Besides you helped with the preparations", Key reasoned.
"I know but...", Mina looked at Yuri who smiled and just nodded.
"I'll go later", Yuri spoke. "You can go with them.
Key clapped his hands. "Great! Let's go Mina". He grabbed Mina's hand. Jonghyun stayed there with Yuri.
"Why are you still here?", Yuri asked Jonghyun surprised that he stayed.
"Why do you asked?", Jonghyun shot back not looking at Yuri. She wanted to leave but she was the one who first got there so he must be the one to go. She stayed for a few minutes, they did not talk no look at each other. After while she glanced at Jonghyun and saw that he was actually sleeping, his jacket by his side. She stood up to leave but turned back and picked up his jacket and covered him with it then she left to find Mina.

Key was like dragging Mina now. "Where are we going?", Mina asked.
"We're almost there", Key said not answering her question. She was no really comfortable walking around the campus while Key holds her hand but Key doesn't seem to mind the stares of other students.
TAEMIN'S POV
Minho hyung and I were sitting in a bench near the gym when Mina and Key passed. I haven't seen Mina for a couple of days now. I don't know but my mom also stopped asking me favors to give something to Mina's mom. After the incident we did not really see each other nor talked. But somehow I know that we were connected, I don't know how to explain it but it feels that way. I was gonna look away from them when I noticed them holding hands. Key hyung was sure fast. Does he like Mina that much? It's none of my business but if Key hyung likes Mina then the bet would be off and I'll win!

Minho convinced Taemin to go inside the gym. There's gonna be an auction. It's for getting a girlfriend or boyfriend for a week. Taemin was surprised Minho was interested in this. He wanted to leave but Minho insisted they stay. First auction was for the guys, it didn't last that long. 3 guys were auctioned in no time. Next came the girls, Onew hyung was the MC. In less than 5 minutes the first girl was sold. Second girl was the cheerleader, she was really pretty and the bid got higher and higher. Seems like a lot of guys wanted her. Then the last girl to be auctioned appeared. She was no longer wearing the dress she wore earlier and her head was bowed so low she looked like she's afraid of showing her face. Taemin was sure he already saw her, she looks familiar if only she looks up. He was so busy trying to figure who the girl was that he did not notice Minho left.
"Now for the last girlfriend to be auctioned", Onew said. "let me introduce you to SHIM MINA!"
TAEMIN'S POV
I was still trying to think where I saw the girl when Onew hyung announced her name. I really can't believe my eyes it was Mina standing on the stage wearing the very short dress and she's also wearing make-up! She always ties her hair and I never saw her with her hair down so I didn't know that she has long, black and shiny hair. The guys cheer when Onew hyung said that the bid would start.
I wanted to ask Minho hyung if he knew Mina would be here but he's no longer beside me. The bid for Mina got higher and higher. Seems like a lot are interested in her.
"She's not even pretty, why are the guys so interested with her?", I heard one of the girls beside me say.
"That's alright with me as long as it's not one of the kinkas who would get her!", her friend answered.
I saw Mina fidgeted when the bid got really high. Someone at the back just said 100,000.00 won for her then it doubled and tripled. Then someone just yelled one million won. Everyone was silent except for Onew hyung. Mina was sold for one million won.
"Who's the lucky guy?", Onew hyung said opening an envelop then he shouted. "LEE TAEMIN!" I was so shocked I could not even speak. "oh there you are", Onew hyung said pointing at me, I saw Mina's relief when she spotted me. Are they serious? This must be one of their tricks!
"LEE TAEMIN, won't you come on stage and collect your girlfriend?", Onew continued. Suddenly Minho hyung appeared from behind and pushed me toward the stage. "aren't you a cute couple!", Onew said ignoring the cries of the girls.
"Hyung! i did not sign up for this!!!", I said and everyone heard.
"What are you talking about?", asked Onew hyung giving me a glare which he rarely does.
"I'm not part of the bidding, clearly this is a mistake", the guys cheered together with the girls.
"If that's the case then the second highest bidder should get her", Onew hyung said after, he was still looking at me though.
"And that would be me!", I heard one of the guys say. When Mina saw the guy she came closer to me and tugged on my shirt from behind. I looked at the guy and saw how he was already undressing Mina in his mind laughing with his friends.
"Well if you say you're not the one who bid for her - ", I cut off Onew hyung. "I was just kidding!", I almost shouted then gave the sweetes smile and the crowd complained.
"No it's ok Taemin. there must be a mistake somewhere", Onew hyung is now pissing me off. "You can get off the stage now". He even tried to push me aside.
"Wait, i won the bid. I told you I'm just kidding!", I said and grab Mina's hand which was so cold now. "She's gonna be my girlfriend for a week right? And that starts now!" I led Mina to the backstage where Key and Minho hyung were waiting.

MINA'S POV
I couldn't believe when Key told me what I'd do. He gave me clothes to wear and got someone to do my make up. I couldn't even recognize my face after. He told me we'd just watch the show but I ended up being the one to be auctioned. I was so nervous I didn't know if someone would actually bid or waste their money on me. What if no one bids? That would be too embarrassing! I mean I am just a nobody. But then the bid got higher and higher. And when Onew announced who the winner was I wanted to shout with excitement. When I saw Taemin, I was so happy I felt like crying. Then my happiness came crashing when he said he was not hte one who bid for me. When I saw the guy who was the second highest bidder I can't help but be scared he looked mean and clearly not to be trusted. Besides he's not my type. Luckily Taemin sensed my plea when I tugged on his shirt and accepted his fate. He took my hand amidst the complain of the crowd and led me backstage.
"Hyung! What's this about?!?", he was really pissed off with his hyungs right now. Minho looked calm and remained seated.
"Relax maknae, we're just playing a game here", answered Key. "You won so no harm done".
"That's right", Onew said from behind us and even gave Key a high five.
"You planned this right?", Taemin continued. He was really not happy. It hurts me when he said that. It's as if he wanted to cancel everything. Hey, I was a victim too!
"Taemin just enjoy the game ok? It's just for a week. and it's for charity. funds would be given to for abandoned babies", Key said they're talking as if I'm not there.
"You and your little tricks! Do you think I even like being here?", Taemin said and it broke my heart. Minho up and was about to say something but I spoke first.
"It's ok Taemin you don't have to be my boyfriend for a week. I'm sorry about this", I said and before my tears fall i ran out and left them.
