Mina's eyes widened, after hearing those words Taemin hugged her tighter. "Taemin, I can't breathe...", she said as she tried to get out of his embrace.
"Please, let's just stay like this for a while", Taemin sid loosening his hold on her but not letting go. "I'm sorry I made you cry again. I always manage to make you cry...".
"I'm sorry I lied to you, that I was with Yuri", MIna said returning Taemin's hug she wound her arms around his waist as well.
"I was so jealous seeing you with Dongho earlier. I've never felt like that before. When you wouldn't answer my calls I was so worried about you. Your safety is my peace of mind Mina, please don't do that again". He finally admitted more like to himself than to Mina.
"You were jealous?", Mina asked not believing if she heard correctly.
"Yes. I was jealous".
"But why?". Taemin let go of her to look into her eyes, he held both of her hands. "Didn't you hear me earlier? I said I love you".
"I don't understand", Mina said.
"Let me show you", Taemin said and kissed her again, he couldn't help himself and gently bit Mina's lower lip.
"Taemin...", Mina said panting when Taemin broke the kiss.
"I can't stop thinking about you Mina, even after the party at Jonghyun hyung's place. I even dream about you. When I saw you earlier with Dongho I knew I couldn't lose you again", Taemin confessed.
"We were talking about you", Mina said.
"Really? And what did you talk about?".
"That I'm still in love with you", Mina said smiling Taemin kissed her forehead.
"I'm in love with you too", MIna felt she's the happiest girl in the world having him say those words. She will never tire of hearing him say he loves her. Few minutes after that they were sitting comfortably beside each other. Mina snuggled beside Taemin who has his arm around her. Mina's content for now but still there are questions that needed answers. But for now she's happy to know Taemin loves her after all. They decided to go back to Taemin's house.
"Are you hungry?", Taemin asked her when they got inside the house.
"No, I'm sleepy though", Mina answered. Taemin took her hand and kissed the back of it.
"Sleep then", he took her upstairs to his room. Mina got into the bathroom first to change into her pajamas. After her Taemin also showered and changed, when he came out Mina is already in bed pretending to sleep. He leaned and kissed her cheek.
"I know you're still awake", MIna opened her eyes, blushing obviously. "Where's my goodnight kiss?". Mina kissed him on the forehead. Taemin chuckled.
"What?", Mina asked.
"Nothing. Go on, sleep now".
"Ok, goodnight", she said closing her eyes. Taemin kissed her on the cheek beofer leaving the room. 30 minutes after she still couldn't sleep, she's too excited and happy. Then she heard a knock on the door. It was opened revealing Taemin.
"Can't sleep?",he asked Mina who sat up on the bed. "I can sleep here with you", Taemin said with a smile.
"What? Wait Taemin..."
"Don't worry. I won't do anything. Are you afraid of me?".
"No of course not..."
"I'll sleep on the couch, I just wanna be near you", Taemin said earning a smile from Mina. She nodded and Taemin settled himself on the couch. A few minutes after Mina still couldn't sleep she knows she can't sleep until she asks him the question.
"Taemin...", she called him.
"Yes?", he said still not sleeping himself.
"How about Ji Eun?", she asked and held her breath for his answer.
"Don't worry", Taemin said after a while. "I'll take care of everything. Sleep now Mina", Taemin said and after that Mina slept. Taemin stayed awake for a couple of minutes thinking of the other girl who he once promised he'll protect, before finally sleeping.
