THE NEXT MORNING
I woke up finding myself lying down beside Mina. I don't know how I ended on the bed with her where in the last thing I remember is just holding her hand.. Now I have my hand over her waist hugging her close while she's using my chest as her pillow. Thank goodness her temperature went down but still a little feverish. She looks so cute while she sleeps, and her hair smells so good I could smell it forever. I slowly got out of bed and took a quick shower before she awakens. I went down to the kitchen to make some porridge for her. I called Key hyung to ask for help. I've never done this before. I had to tell him to just give instructions and not ask questions. Luckily this time he listened.
"What are you doing?", I turned around to find Mina standing at the counter.
"Hey, why did you get up? You should go back to bed".
"I don't want to. It's making me feel more sick", she said.
"You're sick you should rest, go back to bed".
"No I want to stay here", she said and sat down.
"Ok, drink this first and just remain sitting", I gave up convincing her and gave her some medicine. She was about to stand up. "I told you just sit down. I'll get water for you".
"Thanks mom", she said teasing me.
"You gave me a fright last night", I told her and handed her a glass of water.
"Sorry Taemin, I always bring trouble and burden you", she said.
"Glad you know it missy. Now just stay there and be a good girl". I smiled at her. "I'll make breakfast". I busied myself while Mina watched. We talked about the weather, school then some television show, we talked about everything while I cook.
"How is it?", I asked her when she tasted the porridge.
"Hmm... tastes like porridge", she said then laughed.
"Hey, I worked hard for that", I said kinda offended.
"What?! Isn't porridge supposed to taste like porridge?", she continued on teasing me.
"Whatever", i said then her phone rings.
"Hello...?", she answered her phone. "Oh hey...", she stood up and left the kitchen she came back 10 minutes after.
"Dongho?", I asked when she came back. She avoided my eyes and nodded. We resumed eating then my phone rings like Mina I left the kitchen to answer the phone. I came back after 5 minutes.
"Ji Eun?", she asked. I nodded and went back to eating. We ate in silence afterwards.
"I'll wash the dishes", she said when we finished.
"No, I'll do the dishes just go back to bed", I told her.
"I'm fine Taemin. My fever's gone", she said.
"No, go back to bed or do something else. Leave this to me". She left but not before rolling her eyes at me. "I saw that!"
"Good!", she yelled back. I heard her stomping her feet going upstairs.
I went up after washing the dishes to check on Mina I found her sleeping on the couch with a book beside her. I carried her to bed and felt her forehead, she still has a little fever. I stayed in the room with her. I just played online games, luckily for me Minho hyung was also online. I didn't tell her Mina was with me of course when he asked about her and how we got home yesterday. I played for like almost an hour then my phone ran. It was my mom calling me. I went outside of my room so I wouldn't disturb Mina.
MINA'S POV
I woke up feeling fresh. Taemin must have carried me to bed since I was ont he couch earlier reading a book. I went downstairs to the living room. I heard Taemin talking to someone on his phone, it was his mom after a few minutes he hung up then their house phone rings.
"Hello?", he answered it. "Hey Ji Eun. Yes I'm just here. Sorry I can't come over. I'm a little busy. Yes mom left me with things to do. Sure, ok. I'll see yo later then", then he hung up. I walked towards him, he's not even aware that I'm there with him.
"Hey Taemin", I called him.
"Oh hey Mina, need anything?", I shook my head.
"Listen, I need to go home first".
"Why? Forgot something?".
"No, not really. I just wanna go home. Promise I'll be back later", I said.
"I'll go with you then", he said.
"No I'm fine really". I took his hand and placed it on my forehead. "See, I don't have a fever anymore".
"I told mom I'd take care of you", he said.
"You already did and thank you. Besides don't you have things to do like visit Ji Eun or something?" He did not say anything. "I'll just take a quick shower then I'll go home ok?". I went back to his room, after I showered and everything I went back downstairs and still found Taemin where I left him.
"Ready?", he asked when he saw me.
"Taemin, I told you I'd go alone. Go do whatever you wanna do. Ask Ji Eun out or something", I said.
"Why are you telling me what to do?", he asked.
"Why do you wanna interfere in what I want to do?", I countered. He sat down again. "I'll be back later", I told him then I left. I took a taxi going to our house and when I arrived Dongho was waiting outside our gate.
