MINA'S POV
Julie's words kept on coming back to me. She said Taemin already have someone else. What does she mean by that? Those mean girls even broke my phone. If only I knew karate like Yuri! I left Taemin in the garden. I don't really wanna talk to him right now. I was glad he came though, it felt good having someone defend you. Class started I'm glad I have something to think of beside him. Yuri was worried and she also noticed that I've been crying.
"Hey, ready to go home?", Yuri asked when class ended.
"Yes", I answered and got my things.
"I have practice today", Yuri said. "Sorry I can't go home with you".
"It's ok, you go first", I'll just go to the library and return this book", I said showing her the book I've borrowed.
"Are you sure?", she asked and I nodded. "Cool, I'll call you later ok?", she said before leaving.
I went to the library and stayed there for a while. I always like the library, it's quiet and no one bothers me. Then someone took the seat in front me. It was Minho.
"I knew I'd find you here", he said and smiled at me.
"Hi. Why were you looking for me?", I asked.
"I'm not looking for you, Taemin is", he asnwered. "He seldom asks favor from the four of us but he did right. He wants us to help find you. The others are also looking for you".
"Where is he right now?"
"I don't know, why don't we get out of here right first?", Minho said and stood up. He took my bag that was on the table not even waiting for my reply. I followed him out. I walked behind him, just following wherever he's going to.
"They're here!", someone shouted. I looked around and saw Key, Onew, Jonghyun and Taemin outside the school gate.
"Told you I'd be the one to find her", Minho said giving them a smirk. He threw my bag to Taemin who was caught unaware but was able to catch it.
"Hey, I can carry that!", I said but did not make an attempt to get it from Taemin.
"Let him", Key said referring to Taemin.
"Yes let him carry your bag. It's so heavy", said Minho.
"Okey enough of this", Onew said. "Mina, you already know that we'll have a small party tomorrow at Jonghyun's place. It was supposed to be at my place but my parents just came home so no parties yet. We'll leave you two now. Taemin, be good ok?"
Minho pushed me lightly towards Taemin and gave me a wink. They left using Onew's car.
"Hey", I heard Taemin say. "Ready to go?"
I nodded without looking at him, he grabbed my hand and we started to walk. Instead of taking the bus we took a taxi. I was preoccupied and did not hear where Taemin was telling the driver to go. After a few minutes I found myself outside the mall.
"Why are we here?", I asked Taemin when we were already inside the mall.
"Nothing", he said. He's holding my hand again. He led me inside a mobile phone store.
"Wait!", I stopped him when he asked the saleslady to give him the latest model.
"Why? You want something else?", he asked.
"No. Why are you buying me a phone?"
"Because you don't have one, remember? It's broken, can't fix it. So let's just get a new one", he said.
"But Taemin - ", he cut me off.
"Please Mina, let me buy you this".
So I let Taemin buy the phone. My phone was old and it was cheap but the one he's buying right now is the most expensive one and the latest one out in the market.
"Here you go", he said and handed me the phone.
"Err... thanks", I said.
"You're welcome. Do you wanna eat ice cream?", he asked but did not wait for my reply. We went next to an ice cream parlor. Other young couples were also there. We found an empty table and stayed there. We placed our order and waited for it.
"I'm sorry about earlier", Taemin said and reached for my hand that was on the table, he's sitting across of me. "I know it's not your fault Dongho talks to you. And I shouldn't have demanded that you avoid him or not talk to him. The truth is..." Our order just arrived and he stopped talking. Talk about timing!
