MINA'S POV
I slept very late last night. When we got home my mom and I talked. I thought she got mad and would give me a lecture but lucky me that did not happen. It was surprising but my mom was actually happy that I'm with Taemin. She said she knows Taemin is a good guy and she trusts
both of us. I told her that we were not doing anything wrong and she just smiled and said she knows. She even added that Taemin is responsible and she'll really like him to be my boyfriend. And you know what she said next?
"HEY Mina! The teacher is calling you", Yuri whispered. "She's checking the attendance say present!"
I raised my hand and said what was supposed to be said. Talk about not paying attention. Well back to where we were, my mom told me that it's ok for Taemin and I to hold hands and hug and even kiss. My mom is cool about that but she said that since we were both young we should not go beyong kissing. It was really awkward but I sat there and listened to her talk about teenage relationships. I'm not really worried about my mom cause she's cool but how about Taemin's mom? I don't want her to think bad of me.
BREAK TIME
Yuri and I stayed inside the room, others alredy went and so we were left here.
"Hey, Mina. You haven't told me everything that happened over the weekend", Yuri said and demanded I tell her everything down to the tiniest detail. Between the two of us Yuri has more experience when it comes to relationships, she had two boyfriends already but both relationships did not last longer than two months. She always find them cheating on her.
"OMG!", Yuri screamed. "You kissed! "I'm so happy for you Mina!"
"Hey Yuri can't you please not announce it to the whole school?", I told her.
"Sorry, can't help it. It's all happening, you're getting your wish come true! I think Taemin has feelings for you".
"What? How can you tell?"
"Well first he's extra nice"
"Taemin is already nice", I countered.
"Well, he's extra nice then to you like you're special", she continued.
"But don't you think he's just like that since we're pretending to be a couple?"
"Well, he's protective of you", Yuri said.
"Because he's acting as my boyfriend", I reasoned.
"Well he does not want other guys to get close to you", said Yuri.
"Because he's acting as my boyfriend"
"Ok, ok I know that already. So if he is just acting why would he kiss you? You sai dhe kissed you more than once. So he liked it", Yuri said.
Did Taemin like it? Well I did. Who wouldn't? I mean your dream guy kissing you is heaven.
"Hey Mina", Dongho walked in the room.
"Hi", I greeted him.
"Hey there Yuri", he said. The knew each other?
"His brother is in the karate club", Yuri said as if reading my mind.
"So what are you doing here?", Yuri asked Dongho.
"Uhm, just wanna talk to Mina uhm... alone", he answered.
Yuri looke at me, silently asking if it's ok with me. I nodded and she left. Dongho came closer and sat beside me. "Uhm, so what's up?", I asked.
"Well I called you yesterday", Dongho said. I guess you were busy".
I thought about the call that Key made up with me. "Actually I didn't have my phone with me so I was not able to answer your call. I left it at a friend's house", I said.
Dongho's face lit up. "Really?", he said smiling.
"What were you gonna ask? Why did you call?"
"I'll be straight with you Mina. I like you", he said looking straight into my eyes. Is he kidding? Why would he like me? I mean we barely knew each other. Dongho's good looking and part of the popular group, so why me?
"I want us to be friends and somehow be more than that in the future..."
"I... uhm, I'm... I", I stuttered. I really don't know how to answer him. It's my first time getting a confession.
"Can you at least give me a chance?", Dongho said and when I did not answered he continued. "Let's pretend we're meeting each other for the first time. He held out his hand. "Hi, my name's Dongho. What's yours?"
I smiled at his childish play. "Mina, Shim Mina". I took his hand and shook it. That's how Taemin found us. Oh no, I don't think he's happy seeing us like this...
