Third String- Belonging to the third string of a team; one who plays behind the first and second strings; a substitute or replacement.
Foreword
The main rapper and vocalist.
That was Park Chanyeol.
He was never enough compared to the other 5 members.
He dances behind and gets block most of the time- that's alright.
His rap lines were being shared with Kai- that's alright.
Less than 10 seconds of singing lines- that's alright.
He let his other members shine, whilst letting himself stand in the shadows- that's alright.
He is kind, yes. He is nice, yes. He gives in to the others and help them without asking for anything in return.
He is a ball of sunshine- that's right.
So what's the point of brushing his dance moves when he's near to the point of oblivion?
What's the point in practicing his rap skills when he could never get the opportunity to flaunt it?
What's the point of even singing when he barely sings?
Why does he even have to meet the high expectations, attend every single one of the rigorous trainings when there are only minimal chance for him to showcase his talents?
Even though he doesn't mind being almost like a backup member of EXO- he is still human.
And being human made him possess feelings like jealousy and hatred. Enable him to feel depressed, upset and confuse.
He doesn't understand why he can't shine as much as the other members.
