Prologue


Riiinnnnggggg!! Riiinnnnnggggg!!

“Ugh..so annoying….Yah! Why are you calling me so early in the morning?!” I answered the phone after being interrupted from my beautiful sleep.

“Yah! Don’t answer the phone with a Yah! I’m older than you, and for your information, it’s already 12:30pm, you’ve already missed 3 classes....I hope you didn’t forget that later today, we are suppose to report to the president's office and head over to the other school………SO GET YOUR SORRY OUT OF BED RIGHT NOW AMBER YI YUN LIU!!!”

“………….”

*ACK*

I totally forgot!

“Sorry Victoria, I’m on my way, please stall the president until I get there!”

Stupid alarm clock, doesn’t even—

“Eh?!? Where the heck is my alarm clock?” I said aloud after not finding it on my night stand.

Hmmmm…maybe it fell under the bed….

I stuck my head down to look on the floor and then underneath the bed.

What I saw next scared the crap out of me.

I do not get scared easily.
Yes, that’s right, I am the almighty brave Amber.  

But the pair of eyes looking back at me nearly gave me a heart attack.  

After calming down, I decided to look again.

Clutching my heart, I bend over the edge of my bed slowly.

I had my eyes closed.


No I am not scared.


My eyes are just tired, that’s all.

However, before I could open my eyes ever so slowly, I felt something soft on my left cheek.  

What the—

I opened my left eye slowly, squinting to see what it was.

*Thump*

I fell off my bed.

“Aish, that hurt!” I said while rubbing my head.




























“Bap! What are you doing under there!”  


























“And give me back my alarm clock!”
