Henry is a 20 year old who has cancer. He lives in a big town in South Korea, far from his home in Canada, but loves the nature and playing the violin. He is often at a river that flows only about half a mile from his place through the outskirts. Usually he sits there, alone, on a bench, looking into the river and wishing to be as free and immortal as the water flowing past him. He asks himself what life would be without diseases, with the ability to travel everywhere you want to go, be a normal creature. A bird maybe. A cat. A flower.

A part of the river. Because water is immortal. It will rain down, collect in the rivers and lakes and groundwater, helps other things live and at some time it evaporates again and everything starts anew. Wouldn't it be nice to be water? To not have to be afraid of dying? To not be bound to the ground and live your everyday life? To not know how much you are going to miss because you're life is limited? But on the other hand - if you didn't know any of this, would you be able to enjoy it?

Those are the questions that cross Henry's mind really often. He doesn't want to die. Especially not without having experienced one sensation: love. But he knows that's it's actually really unlikely that he would ever come to experience it. Because everyone is afraid of him and his cancer.
