Description

Amber Liu is extremely excited and happy. She is happy because she is finally done with the 8^th grade, and she is free from Junior High School, the nastiest years for a tomboyish girl like her.  She received good marks on her report card from all her teachers. As a rewarded, her parents let her return to her old summer camp, which she hadn’t been to since the summer before 4^th grade. This was going to be the best summer ever.  Especially since she was finally going to be away from HIM.

Kim Kibum moved to America from Korea to live with his uncle five summers ago, before entering the 4^th grade. Every year he helps his uncle run the camp he owns. The first summer was rough because of language. The first year and a half was also difficult. However, soon enough he was talking the natives in circles. All the girls thought his Korean accent and English nickname was adorable. All of them, except HER.
 

“Damn. We’re lost, aren’t we?”
“We are not lost. Shut up, I know exactly where we are.”
“Ha. If you know exactly where we are, then why am I still stuck in the middle of the forest with you?”
 

“Sunglasses protecting my eyes from the hot,
Blinding, slightly stinging sunlight rays

Amber is looking forward to a carefree summer full of fun camp activities with her friends. All of this is ruined when the bane of her existence Kim Kibum, better known as Key, shows up. But is the summer really ruined? What if an accident occurs, that only brings these very opposite people closer?

Some would call this a coincidence.

Amber calls this her bad luck.

Others would call this fate.

But Key calls this his golden opportunity.

Foreword

Hello! I’m HiThereSmiley! This is my first chaptered story, on this site, so please enjoy!

Now that we’re done with those formalities.

LOL, okay. So this story has a funny story behind it. I originally thought this up for a completely different fandom, back when I was at a summer camp… before Freshman year…. Feeling old now. Wasn’t that long ago.

But anyway, the one section I was just gonna write about didn’t end up working. Suddenly (dunno why or how) I decided awhile ago, “Hey! Why don’t I turn this into a Keyber fic?! Asdfghjkl; F-Yeah!!!” So for 3hr (12am~3am) I planned this all out. In one night. This is probably my best prepared fic I’ve ever written/am writing. Also the most fun to write. (Maybe).

This story’s like a mash-up of my own personal thoughts and experiences, what I originally had planned for the other fandom (if you were wondering PJO), and kind of how I see the characters real-life personalities. I have this really bad feeling that somebody else has written something like this before, but I promise, I have written this 100% from my own ideas. (Unlike some of my other fics ^^’), I didn’t even use a “concept base” (as I’d like to call it).

Unfortunately, this won’t be a long fic. Only a few chappies~ I’m thinking like five (cuz I like nice, even numbers). But I promise there’s a lot of content I don’t even know.
