Kwon Ji Yong & Choi Seung Hyun

Description

If I could meet you with these wonderful wings,

-Of All Days by T.O.P of BIGBANG

Foreword

Seung Hyun couldn't explain what he felt in that moment that he had laid eyes on the young man named Ji Yong. He didn't bother trying because he knew he wouldn't be able to reach a conclusion. All he had known was that seeing that man with the strange, pink hair had left him feeling considerably lighter than he had been before. Not only had he in fact felt lighter, but it was as if he had been bathed in a light from heaven. Seung Hyun had cringed inwardly at the overused and undeniably corny simile, but he had felt that it was more than suitable for the situation.

That young man, that stunning, captivating young man, was a light himself, a beautiful apparition which Seung Hyun wanted to fly to and embrace with all of his heart.

~

When it came to Seung Hyun, Ji Yong only had one metaphor that he could think of to describe his feelings; Seung Hyun was a butterfly, leading the younger man through a meadow and escaping through his fingertips at the very last second. Though it wasn't the butterfly's elusiveness that prevented Ji Yong from reaching it; it was the pursuer's own timidity, his own hesitance that always stopped him from reaching out and obtaining what he desired. The butterfly's pursuer would never admit it, though; his pride would force him to believe that catching the butterfly was an unachievable goal, and that all he could do was watch, follow and admire the tiny creature that he longed for.

Yes, the only thing that Ji Yong understood was that he wanted Seung Hyun. In what way, in what context, he was uncertain, and frankly, he didn't care. Like the pursuer of a butterfly, all he wanted was to catch the creature so badly that he would chase it across an endless field of grass without a second thought.

My gosh, this is fantastic. Throughout the end, the tears I've tried to hold back just couldn't stay in any longer. This story is so bittersweet, and to top it off with a descriptive author.

This is perfect. /sobs

This is story is so bittersweet. It's so cute the way that they had the same feeling for each other, but they would never know.
Indeed, life is like that, a chance can come and go in a blink.
Great one-shot. Thanks for sharing!
And good luck in the contest!
