“He’ll be alright. He just needs more rest.”

“Really? Thank you, Doctor.”

Ren opened his eyes groggily to see Minhyun’s worried face peering at him.

“How do you feel?” Minhyun asked. “The doctor just left. He said you’re going to need more rest.”

Ren smiled weakly at him. “How can I get more rest when I have so much to do?”

Minhyun smiled back at him. “I’ve already done it for you. I’ve asked your manager to give you a few days off, but you’ll still get your salary.”

“How did you do that?” Ren asked in wonder, still dazed. Minhyun laughed softly. “Secret. “ He put a finger to his lips.

Ren shivered. Even though he was now covered with blankets and sheets, he still felt cold. Noticing, Minhyun leaned in close, his hand touching Ren's.

Ren’s eyes opened wide. “Minhyun, I-“ His words were stopped when Minhyun leaned in, his lips touching Ren’s.

The kiss was soft and sweet, a delicate contact that lasted for only a few seconds. Minhyun slowly pulled away, while Ren stared in shock at nothing.

“Your lips looked freezing, so I warmed them up.” Minhyun said, his tone casual, as if nothing happened. “I’ll go get you some hot water.”

Ren stayed block still while Minhyun stood up and left. Panting slightly, Ren put a hand up to his lips.

“H…H..H-He j-just kissed me…..” Ren felt himself blushing all over. He was no longer freezing, that’s for sure. But what made him even more embarrassed was that he still remembered the sensation, the feeling of Minhyun's soft lips on his. 

Ren buried his face in the pillow. “My first kiss! And it was given to a pretty boy like him!”

For the next few days afer his rest, Ren couldn’t concentrate. Whether it was work, or it was school, his mind kept drifting to that kiss. That soft, sweet kiss-
