Recap:

Tears started running down her cheeks again

She covered her face with her hands and cried her hearts out

It’s… over

As soon as Jaejoong left Jessica, he rushed to find you but he couldn’t find you

But he didn’t give up, he finally felt like he could really get you back

So that’s the only reason, that’s the reason for all of this. Not because of Donghae, not because she doesn’t love me anymore… She still loves me.  I can finally get her back

Jaejoong smiled to himself as he ran to look for you

You were sitting alone on top of a snow covered hill to clear your mind

It was close to sunset and you wanted to see it

You took a deep breath and screamed out

“Ya, are you crazy or something? Don’t scream like that” you heard a familiar voice from the back

You turned around and your face grew angry when you saw Donghae “What are you doing here?” you asked, trying to sound as cold as possible

“Ouch, your coldness almost hurt me” He chuckled as he made his way to you and sat next to you

You shifted away

He looked at you, you weren’t paying attention to him, instead you were looking at the view. He sighed “Hyeri-ya”

“What?” you said

“I’m sorry”

“I’m sorry? That’s all you could say?!” you stood up

He got up too “No, I have a lot more to say. So please, I know you’re mad at me, but hear me out, okay?”

You crossed your arms “Fine. Speak”

“Jessica threatened me” he said “She said if I didn’t do as she said, she would destroy my family’s business” Donghae explained

“But you could’ve just told me where my sister was!”

“I didn’t know she had your sister at first!”

“At first?” You raised an eyebrow “So after that, you knew, right?”

“I did, but-“

“But what?! If you knew, you could’ve told me! Don’t you know I’ve been worrying about my sister almost every day?!”

“I know! When I found out she had you sister, I tried to convince Jessica to stop all this but she didn’t want to!”

“Well force her!”

“I couldn’t! I was in love with you!”

Your eyes widened as your heart skipped a beat

“Put yourself in my shoes, what would you do?! I got the chance to separate you from Jaejoong, I could finally get you…”

“If I were you, I wouldn’t want to be standing between somebody’s happiness”

“I didn’t have a choice…”

“Yes you did!”

“Well I didn’t want to take that choice!! I didn’t want you to be happy with Jaejoong!”

You slapped him in the face “You selfish bastard” you cursed, your eyes were welling up in tears

“Because of you I can’t be with Jaejoong!” You pushed him “Because of you I can’t be with my sister!” you continuingly pushed him

He just let you push him, he knew you needed to let out your anger

He stepped back every time you pushed him

“You damn bastard!!”

He caught your wrists

“You… bastard…” you cried as the top of your head was resting on his chest

“Because of you… because of you…” you mumbled

“But Hyeri… It’s over now” Donghae said softly

You raised your head slowly “What?”

Your eyes were already red

“I… told Jaejoong about this. But turns out he had already known, he umm… heard my and Jessica’s conversation earlier”

“And...?” you asked, your eyes getting brighter

“And… Now…” he let go of your wrists slowly “I think somebody’s waiting for you”

You peered over him and saw a figure coming closer

 “Jaejoong?”

You looked back to Donghae and frowned “You babo!” you hit his chest “Why didn’t you tell me first!”

Donghae grinned “Mianhae”

You laughed “I’m sorry too”

“Well, now we’re even” he smiled back

“No, we’re not” you chuckled

You hugged him “Thank you, Donghae-ya”

He hugged you back

“So this is probably the last time we hug right?” he scratched the back of his head

You shook your head “Babo, you’re still my bestest friend in the whole wide world” you spreaded your arms

He chuckled and smiled widely “Well, I don’t want to keep the prince charming waiting any longer” he glanced at Jaejoong who was waiting impatiently

You glanced as well and laughed a bit

You pecked Donghae’s lips “Thank you”

Donghae could feel his cheeks getting hotter

He nodded “Y-yeah…”

“You… should get going. Or Jaejoong over there will kick your ass” you laughed

Donghae fearfully glanced at Jaejoong, he was fuming

Donghae cleared his throat “Okay then. I’ll see you later” he ran away

“Bye!” you shouted
