Chapter 15

"When I was younger, me and my dad had the best relationship I could have ever dreamed of. He would take me out to get ice-cream, buy me my favorite toys, anything a perfect dad would do. Of course I loved my mom too, but it wasn't the same as my dad. When I got accepted into SM, you could imagine how excited I was to tell my dad, expecting him to be really proud of me," He paused as he started to choke on his words.

"If you're not ready, you don't have to-" You started, and he cut you off.

"No. I want to get it out," He told you, as his bottom lip wavered. You rubbed circles on his back, and waited for him to continue.

"A-and I ran home to tell him, and told him I was accepted. He asked me if I was joking, and I told him no. He looked at me for a long time, and then chuckled. 

'You're not going to do it, right?' He told me.

'Of course I am! Aren't you proud?' I was so excited that I couldn't see it coming.

'But this, this is a girls profession. Getting all dolled up, your hair died and putting on makeup; Baekhyun that's not a man's profession,' As he said it I felt crushed, like everything I had worked for was gone.

'Appa... I want to do this,' I told him, hoping that he would be okay with it.

'Okay, you do that. But Baekhyun, don't come back expecting to be my son,' He threw the paper at me, and walked a-away..." Baekhyun paused to let a few tears out, and your heart just about broke hearing his story.

"Baekh-" You started, but he interrupted you.

"I'm not finished. S-so I signed the contract to be in SM. And one day, I got homesick and went back home, preparing to give my parents tickets to our debut. When I went in the house... W-when I went in the house, my mom accepted the tickets proudly, but my dad, h-he ripped his, and told me that he wouldn't go, because I wasn't a man anymore, or his son. He kicked me out of his house, and t-told me n-n-ever to..." He let out a huge breath as a few tears slipped out of his. He quickly wiped them away and looked at you.

"N-never to come back." He breathed a sigh of relief that he had finished, and glanced at you.

"Kai was the o-only one that knew about it..." Baekhyun stated, and then smiled sadly at you. 

"Baekhyun... I'm so sorry," Was all you could say. You pulled him into a tight hug, and he smiled.

"It's okay, it was just something that was painful for him to bring up," He told you with a smile. 

"Ah! Baek! Never cry again, you look so much better smiling!" You instructed him, and with a smile, and he chuckled. 

"You should go to sleep," He told you, and you both got up to go to your room. On the way, you saw Kai standing in the living room talking to Su Ho.

"Kai," You called, and he glanced at you. You spun in the air and kicked him in the stomach, and landed gracefully. 

He doubled over in pain, and looked at you with eyes that said, 'I deserve this.' You rolled your eyes. 

"Ass," You told him, and then walked to your room. Baekhyun ran into the kitchen and grabbed some ice, and ran back out. He handed Kai the ice without looking at him, and then walked away. Kai sighed.

As you laid down on your bed, you fell asleep to Su Ho's cried of 'Oh my Baeky!! What happened?? Why was my baby crying??"

You woke up just in time for dinner, and as you sat down at the table everyone was starring at you.

"What...?" You asked, reaching for some rice. You glanced around, and found that Baekhyun and Kai were both gone, along with Minho and Chanyeol.

"What the hell happened??" Key bursted out, and starred at you.

"Well... Kai was an ass, made Baekhyun cry, and then I stayed with him...," You said casually as you ate some rice.

"But why? What happened?" Su Ho asked you, practically yelling. You chuckled.

"Isn't it rude to talk about them behind their backs? Just ask them what happened," You gave them a small smile before excusing yourself to go to your room.

'They all seem so nice and caring-with the exception of Kai of course. I wonder if the rumors are really true...'

You went on your computer and searched the internet to look for their rumors.

As you starred at them, you realized how stupid you were to believe them. They could easily be fake, and you don't even have any facts. 

'At least my prediction of Kai being a horrible person was true...'

You then decided to be nice to them, and that you should make it up to them. You quietly walked out of the house, and went to the nearest shop, and bought a cake to apologize to them. As you were walking away, you ran into Soo Man.

"Ah _____! Hello!" He greeted you and you bowed.

"I had been wanting to talk to you. Let's have a seat," He gestured at a both and you both sat down.

"I had an idea for your debut. EXO's goodbye stage is in about a week, that means their promotions are almost over. So I decided that we could promote you, but just you alone because we still don't have any other people for your group. But, we would cover your face except for your eyes, so no one would know who you are. That way, people would anticipate your debut because they want to see who you are," He explained, and your eyes widened. 

"I heard that you learned the dance to history. So, EXO will have another special stage, and you will dance to Kai's part with the rest of EXO. Then, they will exit the stage, and you will do a solo dance, and then maybe a rap or something. It's sort of up to you. In your dance training, which you skipped today, but I won't ask questions... You will work with Kai to choreograph a dance. If possible, it would be good if you could compose a song with Baekhyun too, but if that's too much then just the dance. Good luck!" He told you, and simply and started to walk away. Then, he walked back over and handed you a CD.

"Give EXO the recording of what I just told you. Did you know that I was lip-syncing?" He smiled at you and walked away.

You couldn't focus on the fact that he was lip-syncing, or whatever that was supposed to be about, you were going to debut. You could hardly believe your ears. A smile crept up your lips, and you grabbed your cake and ran home. As you got to the door, you remembered that you didn't know the password. You banged on the door, and Se Hun opened the door.

"Se Hun!" You cheered and gave him a hug, and ran by him. He froze and his eyes widened. 'What??'

He spun around and found you giving everyone hugs with a huge smile, with the exception of Kai.

"Look look!! Put it in!!" You yelled and handed it to Su Ho.

"What is it...?" He asked confused, as he put it in the CD player. 

"It's Soo Man! Now listen!" Everyone listened and their eyes widened.

"Congrats!!" Key hugged you, and as soon as he let go, Taemin tackled you in a bear hug. 

"That's so cool!" Chanyeol exclaimed.

"I'm jealous," Su Ho stated, and smiled at you. Just then, you remembered your cake that you had left at the door.

"Oh yeah!" You ran and got it and came back,"I brought cake! I wanted to apologize for hating you before I knew you. I hope we can be friends."

You smiled at them, and gave Su Ho the cake. Soon after, it was time to go to sleep. Before you even laid down, you knew you wouldn't be able to fall asleep because you slept all day. You decided to read a magazine, and see if it would tire you. After about an hour, you realized that you weren't even close to tired.

You thought about seeing if Kai was awake, but then you realized that you were supposed to be mad at him. Boredom got the best of you, and you eventually wandered out of your room to the living room. You found a familiar figure sitting on the couch. You sat next to him, and he sent you a fake smile.

"I was waiting for you."

You rolled your eyes. He starred at his hands, and then sighed.

"Kai..." You started, and he glanced at you.

"Why'd you do it?"

He looked at you for a couple of seconds, and then ran his hand through his hair.

"You guys were basically on a date, and you were having fun and I just... I was just jealous, why do you like him instead of me?" Your eyes widened, and he froze.

'Crap.'

{A/N: AHHHH I was reading the comments on my i-Pod last night, and as I was scrolling, I accidently clicked the 'x' button on one of the comments, I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOO SORRY!!!!! AHUIDSAHGUISA I AM SOOOOOOOO FREAKING SORRY!!!! T.T I didn't get to read it, so I'm not sure who's it was, but whoever it was I AMMMMM SOOOOO SORRRRYYYYYY!!!!!!<3 (Sorry sorry sorry *does dance*) But really I am sincerely really really really really sorry.
