Chapter 17 - Talk That
As I entered the club, I couldn't help but notice Suho walking behind me and also entered the club. What the-- why the hell is he coming in here? Shaking my head, I ignored my thoughts and walked over to Lay who was busy fixing himself and Chen who kept trolling Lay and his things.
"I'm supposed to meet some Soo person?" I asked as they exchanged confused glances and then finally nodded.
"Ohhhh! Kyungsoo!" They chorused as I shrugged.
"Yeah that" I nodded.
"The kitchen is over to the right" Lay pointed.
"No retard! That's the toilet! The kitchen is that way!" Chen tapped the back of Lay's head as he corrected him.
"Um... Which way is it?" I asked confused as they quarreled.
"That way!" And both hands went in opposite directions.
"What?" I asked.
"Don't listen to him, it's that way" Chen pushed Lay's hand down and I just backed away and decided to ask someone else.
Walking over to another familiar face, I saw Tao and Chanyeol talking so I walked over to them.
"Um, where is the kitchen?" I asked.
"Over there" they pointed and when I looked, Chen was actually wrong and tried trolling me. -.- I'll get back at him. For now, I walked over to the kitchen and entered.
Inside was a short boy, maybe about a few centimeters taller than me, but not very tall. He was frantically shifting about and trying to chop vegetables, turn the pot, wash the herbs and so many more things.
"Excuse" I interrupted his tasks and he froze as he stared at me with huge eyes. What the hell... Is he really Korean? The size of those eyes! Geez, he has more white than the white of an egg. Ok that didn't make much sense. Ignore that. Ahem.
"I'm supposed to help you in the kitchen or something...?" I asked. It took him a while before my words could register in his brain.
"Oh...er....right...I...uh...am......you....." He fumbled with his words as he awkwardly shifted in his position.
"Well?" I asked, waiting for some of order.
"Wash those vegetables...please" he asked and I walked over to the vegetables.
Crap. I have no idea what to do. Gulping, I took up the green thingy... I don't even know the name...and began passing it under the water. I think this thing has to come off. Ok. So we peel this...? Yes? No? Lets do it just in case.
Yes. That looks about right. Ok. On to the next thing. Hmm. Ok, maybe this piece is supposed to come off-- no no wait! Why is it doing this? Wait wait wait! I never asked it to do this!!!!
WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
"HEYYY! What are you doing?!?!?" His voice screeched as he ran over to pick up the pieces of vegetables that were ripped off.
"Um...." I looked around awkwardly.
"AISH... Ok, forget this, go chop those carrots" he pointed to the counter and I just walked over.
Well, washing vegetables aren't my thing.
Time to cut.
...
....
"YAH! You're cutting that too fat!"
Oh bother.
"Leave it leave it.... Just take out the garbage" he sighed.
Well, I guess there was a reason I don't cook.
I grabbed the bags of garbage and hurried out if the kitchen and to the back. When I finished putting them out, I reentered and was making my way back to the kitchen, quietly minding my business when I heard someone singing. Their voice was soothing and calm and the beat mellowed nicely in rhythm with the atmosphere.
I guess it won't hurt if I took a small glance right? A small glance. I poked my head out to look at the stage but the person's back was towards me. The voice was masculine, so I knew it was a guy but I couldn't help but find that dark hair strangely familiar. Tilting my head, I walked out just t
