They told her that it was all a dream. Nothing really existed between him and her. It was all her imagination, her wildest dream that took over her senses. She was the one who fabricated the truth.
Honestly, she did not believe it. She could not believe it was just her imagination. She could still vividly feel his tender loving kisses on her forehead, how their gazes used to lock, the hushed whispers of love under the starry night. The warmth around her petite frame. His husky voice reverberating in her ears.
And now everyone is insisting that it was just her dream. He had never belonged to her, and there had never been sparks of love between them.
Yet who he was, was still an unsolved mystery. She knew that she had a lover. With a currently unknown identity.
