DAY 1
I arrived at Kwangjo Hospital today. It's very nice here. And very clean. The doctors look friendly, and the nurses, friendlier. I think I'll like it here.
Oh, wait. This is not the proper way to begin a journal entry.
Hello. My name is Cho Kyuhyun, but everyone just calls me Kyuhyun. I am sixteen years, eleven months, three hundred sixty-three days, nine minutes, and forty-five seconds old. Forty-six...forty-seven...forty-eight. People tell me I'm smart, but I know I'm not. I know I have a problem.
I am autistic.
This was not okay with my parents and my big sister. My parents decided it'd be better if I spend the rest of my life here, away from them, and away from society. I nodded and said okay, because I just wanted my parents to be happy. And they did seem happy once I walked into this building. If they're happy, then I'm okay. Everything's okay. People like me aren't actually permitted to stay here, but my parents are rich, so they paid a lot of money, I guessed, and well...
Here I am.
I'm playing Starcraft while writing. I'm good at multi-tasking. I like Starcraft.
I wonder if I'll make any friends here.
Oh, that's impossible. I remembered--I'm not good at making friends.
That's okay though. I lived my whole life with no friends, and I'm still okay.
Everything's okay.
Foreword
A/N: Jessica here! So this SeoKyu oneshot is primarily for a contest...the info is all below and stuffs. Lemme just point out a little something. I did my research and tried to make Kyuhyun's "voice" as much like an autistic kid as possible. I had help from this book, so understand that if Kyuhyun sounds like he's five, or if he's repeating information and such, it's on purpose. Look up "autism" on Wikipedia to learn more, my friends!
