Description
Message from Author:
"I like to think that a step into insanity,
is also a step into reality.
So, reality and insanity are one.
Realizing and accepting this,
explains a lot about life that leaves me confounded.
This is a one-shot series in which I post anything and everything that resembles a storyline.
Perhaps it's really me that is writing this,
or perhaps it's my alter ego, drowning in the insanity of everday life.
Enjoy these one-shots for whatever they may be worth.
I haven't written them yet, but knowing myself,
they won't make much sense.
Thank life for insanity..."
Foreword
Hello everyone!
This is a one-shot thing of sorts. I've never done this before, but I think it's time I actually write a lot of the ideas that cross my mind instead of putting them on hold until I can make a coherent storyline. So, if a lot of these don't make sense, take it as you getting a glimpse of what goes on in my mind before I actually say, "Hey! New fanfic!" :) A lot of weird things cross my mind, so if you're willing to read them, please be my guest. I would always appreciate any feedback at all :D
This is a collection of thoughts, a look into a dream, as it's ending.
Here I collect all ideas which will not become fanfics.
I suppose, this collection is my final chapter :)

charityforyou on says about chapter 14:
When I read the beginning of Glass I immediately thought "Twins" in a way it could be but in a way it's also not. We can all strive to be perfect but no one can ever be perfect, nothing has ever reached that state that we call perfect, so does perfect even exist? Yet still we fight to achieve it. Leaving everyone behind, all our friends an family in the pursuit of perfection or the goals we wish to achieve in life. Constantly being compared with others, being told we aren't good enough an that what we are doing isn't good enough. In my opinion, everyone's emotional state, their mind, is like glass, it can be so easily broken and shattered. Cracks appear in it constantly due to harsh words spoken by others with cracks in their own glass. This is what this poem conveys to me, how we hide the cracks in our glass, how sometimes we wish to just smash it all and either lose it all completely or start anew. How the glass once looked into reveals the true person we are or the person we want to be but can never become. Going back to the whole I instantly thought of twins, sometimes twins can compare themselves to each other or someone will compare them. Saying that one is better than the other, making cracks appear in both sides as one's self-esteem will shatter and the other's relationship with their twin will flicker out like candlelight.

Time... It makes me think. How I should spend it, how I should use. But time can't be won back nor can there be less of it. There's only time. I love this memo, because its making me treasure. And your writing was worth my time to enjoy. :)
charityforyou on says about chapter 13:
Time is an interesting thing to think about because even though a lot of us may not know it but we are all reaching for time, trying to grab whatever bits of it we can in order to fulfil our own desires. A man who is dying can be wishing for more time to spend with his loved ones but in the end it would only hurt everyone more. Creating all these fond memories only to have the person you love die. You could do so much in that time but people would still wish for more. The time we have is never enough for us. Time rules over everything and everyone, it can help us, age us and destroy us with the simplest of efforts. In truth everyone fears time hence the phrases "Time's up!" and "Time is running out." Seemingly harmless things to say or hear but dread always fills our hearts whenever we hear them. We all wish to control time but I feel that this story shows that no matter how hard we try we can never truly control it. Time controls us, it cannot be controlled, merely monitored. We have watches and clocks but they do not control what time it is they only tell us what the time is. All we can do is sit back and let time do what it wants with us.

Hey I know a Paloma!
Ok apart from that lame comment, I have to say you constantly manage to outdo yourself.
charityforyou on says about chapter 12:
All I can say is thank god you had the explanation at the end because I was completely and utterly confused the whole time. But now that it has been explained I kind of get it. Love can be difficult and no one is ever really sure if the feelings they are experiencing towards someone is truly love or another emotion altogether. Lust can be mistaken for love and it leads us into making decisions that we come to regret. Finding the person we truly love can be difficult as it can take many years. They can be right in front of us and we will never know.
charityforyou on says about chapter 11:
I love all the different ideas in this story. First of all, silence speaks louder than words. One's voice does not always need to be heard for a conversation to be spoken. Sometimes just one look says more than any words could. Second of all, the kite, to me, symbolised life and that it can be hard and difficult, cutting into us as the kite strings did. But when we find someone we love they help make the pain of life bearable. Thirdly, when a child is born the parents will tend to neglect the mess of their own lives and care for their children more. Their life will revolve around their child and their own happiness is put to the side. Fourthly, the idea that death is the release of pain and is when we can truly be happy. Death is an escape from the life that tortures us constantly. Or at least that's the way I took it.
Harmonia on says about chapter 12:
You are amazing. Your ability to write beautiful stories amaze me, there are also messages contained in your story, and you can portray them beautifully
Thank you for writing such a beautiful story, I'm glad I found an author like you xD
keep-the-faith on says about chapter 12:
Amazing! :) this is really good! At first, like always, I was a little baffled but I understood the part of different types of love that he faced. And I knew about the person he chose in the end. :) this is really nice like always.
cutiepiehunter on says about chapter 11:
Omg that was amazing. The symbolism alone was enough to get me. The sheer ingenuity of this piece makes it the best of the lot. I think youve taken a simple challenge and transformed it into something so beautiful that you def dont need the exact word to deliver the meaning.
You should write more on love :).
Bookmarked and will be read forever.
keep-the-faith on says about chapter 11:
Whoa. Amazing. I kinda understand, yet i don't. But mostly i understand. It's really solemn. Hope to see more of your great works! :)
