Description

Join Lee Soo Man's daughter as she deals with the crazy rollercoaster she calls 'life'.

Lee Ji Hyan is the daughter of SM Entertainment’s founder, Lee Soo Man. She has just graduated from a prestigious university in London but has come back to South Korea to fulfill her father's request for her to work in the company instead.

Although she graduated as a fashion student, she embarks a journey in the entertainment world as a trainee; no, not to debut as a singer or actress, but to obtain a possible position of being the company's new CEO.

She originally thought returning to Korea wouldn't change anything. She was wrong. She, now, lives in a crazy rollercoaster of emotions and feelings. And she finds herself falling for a Super Junior? How will that work out?

Foreword

prologue: hi again, korea.

Jihyan’s POV:

Alas, my plane arrives at Incheon International Airport. I came all the way from London back to Korea. My dad’s too busy to pick me up, thus, my childhood best friends are picking me up, Sunny and Jessica of SNSD.

Sunny and I go way back when we were 4. She’s actually my cousin. We weren’t always the best of friends, arguing about the smallest, pettiest things, but growing up together, we’ve learned to accept our differences and become the best of friends. We’ve kept in touch even after I moved to San Fran when I was 10.

Jessica and I met in San Francisco. We survived the wildness and animosity of middle school together. I was actually surprised that she’s also Korean, just like me. I was really sad when she moved back to Korea in 2000, leaving me behind, but I understand. It was her dad’s decision and I couldn’t do anything about it. Just like Sunny, we kept in touch with each other, even when I moved to London in college.

No one was more shocked than I when I found out they got casted by my dad’s company and debuted in the same group! I thought it was a genius coincidence, and I’m really proud of them for the success they’ve gathered. So Nyu Shi Dae, hwaiting! lol

I exit the arrivals area with all my luggage in two, yes, two luggage carts and found two girls in scarves, glasses and beanies waiting for someone, that someone was me.

“Soonkyu, Sooyeon!” I yelled to garner their attention.

As I walk over to where they were, they were waving at me and smiling.

“Aaaah, Jihyan-ah! We missed you so much!” Jessica exclaimed while the both of them squeeze the air out of me in a group hug.

"C-c-cannot br-brea-the..", I joked. I was loving every second of our little reunion, actually.

Suddenly, someone does that fake cough thing to catch our attention. They let go of me and look at the ahjussi. He was in a black suit, wearing black sunglasses, so I assumed he was a bodyguard.

Sunny talked to him while Jessica and I play with each other's fingers, a habit of ours. Then, Sunny turns to us.

"Ah, Jihyannie, this is Daeho ahjussi, our bodyguard," Sunny explained, "he wants us to get in the car immediately because we might grab a lot of attention and cause some sort of riot."

I nodded and we quickly made our way to the car, with Daeho ahjussi strolling all my stuff.

We got in the car and as soon as Daeho ahjussi closes the vehicle door, the driver almost automatically drives away from the airport.

Sunny was in between Sica and I , we leaned on her shoulder. Both of them close their eyes to slumber a little as it was only 6 am when they picked me up from the airport, while I watched the city of Seoul though the car window.

"Oh, by the way, Jihyan," Jessica mumbles, eyes still closed, "welcome back to Korea."

3. I'm not too fluent in English, so there might be a few grammatical errors here and there.

I've had this idea in my head for weeks now. It couldn't stay bottled up in my head, so I decided to publish the foreword! :)

Oh, and the reason why I made Sunny & Jessica her best friends here, is because first of all, I love SNSD. Second, Sunny is LSM's niece, so I figured Jihyan that would be useful and stuff. Three, because Jessica is my SNSD bias, yo. I might add Sooyoung as one of her new best friends a little later in the story. ;)

This won't be one of those kick-ass stories you often see here, there might be a ton of epic failures, but there's a ton of twists, too. ;)
