Foreword

He saw her walking with that guy again. The genuine smile they shared with each other never escaped his mind. That was the second time today. Twenty-third time this week. One hundred-and-twelfth time this month. He let out a heated grunt.

 

His fist curled slowly and he continued to tighten it, well aware that his palm was going to bleed if he put even a tiny bit more force on it. But he didn't even really care, because their mere presence together was more than he could handle. Them being together was what concerned him, though he didn't know why.

 

He tried to concentrate on his girlfriend in front of him, who was now talking about how sun rays can be bad for your skin or something, only his eyes always ended up on the certain girl in the corner. She was talking animatedly about something with that guy that he so wanted her to be telling him. It killed him inside seeing the girl's eyes twinkle in excitement as she talked to the other guy.

 

He wasn't so sure why that girl attracted his attention so much. For God’s sake, she was so damn plain. She had nothing! Nothing to be impressed by! Flat chest. Plain face. Plain black hair color that wasn't very shiny or very dull either. An oversized school uniform. What century did she come from to actually want to wear that kind of style? And she wore those glasses. Not the glasses that all those cuties on twitter wear, but the small rectangular glasses that only nerds have the nerve and uncaring nature to wear.

 

Her appearance was just so... ick!

So why was he still attracted to that plain, nerdy girl? He already had a girlfriend that was even the complete opposite of her. There wasn't even a need to explain the details about his girlfriend. She was marvelous. The kind of girl that every guy in this whole world would want but never be able to get. But he was different. He could get a girl like her easily; he is a kingka after all. What’s the title all about if he can’t get that kind of girl?

 

Now, for the zillionth time he pleaded with himself, this would be the last time he'd turn his head to look at her.

 

But then he saw the guy gently tuck a strand of her hair behind her ear.

 

That did it.

 

He got up from his chair, stormed over to the nerd, grabbed that plain wrist of hers and stormed out. He had left behind a speechless girlfriend and a former best friend, who, for unknown reasons, could be seen with small smile lingering on his sly face.

 

“What the hell are you doing, damn it?” She yelled after he finally let go of her when they arrived at basketball court.

 

“Then, stop doing that!” He irrationally yelled, finally turning to her.

 

“Doing what?” She yelled back.

 

“Don’t act like you don’t know!”

 

“Yeah I do know. I know you're nuts. I’m out.” She said tiredly and turned to the door.

 

He grabbed her arm before she could move any further and pushed her to close the door with her back flat against it. “Stop doing that.” He said, getting closer to her and whispering possessively. “Stop smiling at him, talking to him, or doing anything that involves him.”

 

“Why should I?”

 

“Because. You are mine.”

 

“Ex-excuse me, I’m WHOSE?”

 

“Mine. Remember that!”

 

“Really? Now I’m sure you are absolutely nu-AH!” She shrieked as his fist made contact with the door behind her, making a scarily huge bang only an inch from her face.

 

Slowly his mouth approached her right ear. She could even feel his hard breath on her neck when he exhaled deeply.

 

“Then tell me I’m wrong.”
