L. Joe was leaning against the wall in front of your house. He slowly raised his head and gazed up at the attic. The lights were off *Is she at work or sleeping? I hope she’s eating all three meals and not crying herself to sleep. I know I don’t deserve to be here but damn. I miss her so much. My life hasn’t been the same without her.* L. Joe heaved a deep sigh and turned around.
