It was Saturday but it wasn’t a normal weekend. It was actually your 18thbirthday. Yet, you were at the flower shop working.
“You shouldn’t be here.” The owner frowned.
“I want to be here. There’s nothing to do at home.” You brightly smiled.
The owner sympathetically gazed at you. She knew what your family life was like. “Is your dad coming to celebrate with you?”
You shook your head, “He’s busy. But he called me to wish me happy birthday and that’s enough.” The owner went in the back to sort some flowers.
The bell rang and you bowed, “Welcome-“ Your eyes widened, “L?”
He glanced around, “So you are working today.”
You nodded, “Did you come here to buy flowers?”
“Why else would I be here?” He smirked.
“Oh. Right.” You became embarrassed, “So what would you like?”
“I need a dozen roses.” L said.
“What color?” You asked. L looked around, “Which ones do you recommend?”
“Well…I personally like the pink ones.” You said. “I’ll get that then.” He said
. You began to fix it up into a pretty bouquet, “Are you confessing to someone?”
“No.” He replied.
“Then may I ask what it’s for?” You asked.
“…For someone’s birthday.” L replied.
“Oh.” You blinked in surprise then went back to making the bouquet *It’s mine, too.* “Here you go.” You gave it to him. “T
