My First Job Completed!
Sakurai Sho/OC, Rest of Arashi, Minor appearances of other JEs.
Summary: I am working as an assistant for a make-up artist; actually the make-up artist of Arashi. I, Buse, who used to be a simple fan started working for her idols. How did this happen to me? Haha... I wish I knew, I guess this is what you would call fate...
A/N: This was my first ever Asian Fanfic.... I am still not done with it... I need to type up the last two chapters... It will be 15 chapters in total... Here is the first chapter. Enjoy! :)
My name is Buse Shahin. I know my name is weird, that is because I am half Japanese, half Turkish. Yes, a weird combination but what can I say my parents are not someone that you could call normal. They gave me the name “Buse” because they thought it would be funny since the name meant “a kiss”.
I was born in USA so I am fluent in all three languages. How come? You might ask. Well, when I was growing up my mom used to talk to me in Japanese and my dad in Turkish. Then my friends at pre-K talked to me in English. I don’t have an accent when I speak in English unlike my parents. My parents communicate in Japanese because my dad grew up in Japan.
I spent my elementary years in USA; then because of my dad’s job we moved to Turkey where I spent my middle school years. Then we moved to Japan for good, during my high school year. Because of traveling so much I did not have much friends so I was kind of a nerd; I had to study hard to adapt to my school and the style of education each country had. Even though I study so much I still cannot read Kanji. The only thing that kept me company during my first year in Japan was TV; my parents were both working and since I did not have any friends…You get the idea. The first jpop band that I became a fan of was Arashi. I quickly fell in love with their music because I found comfort in their songs…
I loved them so much that during holidays my parents would buy me their CDs, DVDs etc. Sure I liked other jpop, jrock bands as well but Arashi's spot in my life was different. Even though I lived in Tokyo, Japan I never went to their concerts. I preferred to watch the DVD, I did not have any friends or a boyfriend that I could take to the concerts with anyways.
After I got into the university, I majored in well, I became a make-up artist. I was always interested in shows, movies but I was more into the backstage. I always paid attention the stage designs, costumes, the make-up etc. My university is good at finding jobs to their graduating students, especially to a graduating honors student like me. Various companies would inform our school’s counselor, Yamazaki sensei about job openings.
I was going to graduate this week and I needed a job. I went to her office and knocked on the door.
“Come in, come in Buse-chan.” She said, she really liked me for some wierd reason.
“Hello, Yamazaki sensei” I said and sat down on one of the comfy chairs she had in her office. She started going through the list of job openings that were suitable for me when her phone rang. She excused herself and started talking. Then the smile on her face grew.
“Hai. I think I have the right person for you.” She said and winked at me. After she ended her call she said:
“ I think I found the perfect job for you. Amaya-san just called me. She said she needs an assistant. She is a make-up artist for some band.”
“Honto!” I was so excited. This could be my first job. Yamazaka sensei was not really listening to me though. She was trying to remember the band’s name.
“What was it called again?Oh, Do you remember the guy in Hana Yori Dango? Oh my I am getting old, I can’t remember the name.”She said frustrated.
“Hanadan? Yeah… I remember the show.” What does this have to do with anything?
“You know the guy with the curly hair.. Dom- something…”
“Hai! That actor’s group… What is it called again?”
I swallowed, “Arashi?”
“Hai, Hai! You will be working for them from now on. That is if you get the job. But don’t worry I am sure you will!” Sensei started talking again, really fast.
“oh…” was all I could say. I could not think. I did not know if I should be happy or shocked. “hai…” I said unconsciously.
“You will meet Amaya-san tomorrow at 2:30 PM , Okay?” She said and started to write down the address. All I could do was to nod.
