Fiction or Fact?

Octeit: *bows* president.

President: you probably heard the news from your sunbaes.

Octeit: yes. *bows* thank you we’ll strive even harder.

President: I know you will. I believe in your talent. I think you guys are ready for debut.

Octeit: yes.

President: so.. what did you learn these past years…?

Karen: they said that I am the most talented in our group… but I learned that here in cube.. we’re all equal… it’s not about experiences or how long have you been doing this… it’s all about our raw talents and our attitudes.. our willpower… how we will cope up to our hectic schedules… I learned a lot.

President: that’s true. I believe in everyone’s talent and that by working together, you can strive hard.. help each other on the way. never give up and work towards your dreams…

JV: I’m the weakest in our group. I never really thought that I’ll really debut with them together… I once had thought that I should let them debut… however, they’re very loyal and helped me to be better.  I wouldn’t exchange them for anything. I know that I’m not as great as the others but I will surely try my best and push myself further… so that I can be with my friends and will prove to you that you made the right decision.

President: I’ve never thought of you… that way. I always know that you are the hard worker type and I hadn’t doubted your skills.. And I’m not wrong. You really did your best… and gave your all and with that… you improved a lot over these past few years.

Sam: I have the weakest stamina out of us. I never really thought I can have this day.. the day that we can debut. It feels surreal.. all of it. The trainings are hard and strict but it wasn’t harsh.. We always eat balanced meals and I’ve become healthier than before. I can now dance whole day and night without any problems.

President: of course, no matter what situation it is.. Everyone’s health is precious, therefore, we need to take good care of it. Everyone's schedules had been varied and customized weekly according to not only your performance but also for your current health condition. After all, you can’t perform well with an empty stomach and a very tired and sick body right?

you: I, have a little bit of everything… but I don’t really excel on it. That has been my problem.. I also have low self-esteem. I always look down on myself. I probably do so because of my past experiences and I won’t deny that it’s really haunting me. I fear failing.. I fear being rejected… and so I can’t give my 100 percent every performance. But cube family helped me with these and I think I can handle myself better now. Plus, I’m willing to try without bothering whether I will fail or not. Everyone encouraged me and taught me well. I knew that this wouldn’t be easy but I never imagined that it was really beyond our imagination. Even though I know a gist of how things go… It’s hard to handle it.

President: but you guys made it… up to this point that you are all debuting. This is not only an entertainment company… this is our family. We need to support each other. You are all my kids and I’m your father. As your father, I want each and everyone of you to grow as a person and also having a kind, humble heart. My children are my greatest treasures… you are all my priceless possessions. 

Octeit: aw! Papa Hong.

[I called the C.E.O. of Cube ent.{Hong Seong Sung} President just in case you’re lost.. and I’ll call him here.. Papa Hong(means Father Hong) widely known as ‘Hongcube’.]

Thy: among all of us, I have the weakest will power. I’m also the laziest. However, seeing my friends trying so hard to reach for their dreams… I , too have started to dream. Being challenged weekly… improving ourselves… it made me see life in a new light. I now know the importance of these things.

President: Thy. You’ll be the leader of this group.

Thy: ah, yes.

President: You have the responsibility because you are the leader, to build the group’s teamwork, the leader has to do his best.

Thy: I’ll do what I can for our group.

President:You will also have to identify the group’s mood and complete everything. I know you will be a good leader.

Thy: Leave it to me.

President: and meet Am, your other manager.

Am: nice to meet you. I look forward to handling you guys.

Octeit: *bows* please take care of us!

Thy: at last! We’re going to debut!!!

JV: yeah! I can’t believe it! We already went this far!

Am: but this is only the start.

Beryl: yeah. This is only the beginning and you’ll be facing a lot of problems after debut.

Sam: it’s not a problem.

Karen: yeah, as long as we’re together.

you: yeah! We’ll help and guide each other.

Octeit: we can go through anything.

Am: that’s the spirit!

Beryl: Am and I will be with you handling things for you.

Am: yeah. Don’t worry. Leave things to us, you just have to focus on improving.

Beryl: and achieving your dreams together.

you: yeah! That’s right! All the things that happened… all the good and the bad stuffs… let’s all put it in the past. All those memories.. let’s all turn it into precious memories. We would not be here without it.

Karen: yeah, we worked hard to get to where we are now… we can’t let those things haunt us and stop us from reaching our dreams….

Thy: And after 3 months and half a month, on the music shows, let’s create a boom

Sam: We can do it.

JV: Three months and a half to go?

Am: yeah, and you guys will debut.

Beryl: don’t worry. We have faith in you guys. You can do it.

Thy: okay! Let’s give a cool debut and be number 1!

JV: Let’s reach number one.

Sam: Okay, let’s say fighting one more time.

Karen: And practice a lot too!

you: Until our debut day...

Karen: until we are successful..

JV: No, until we reach number one…

you: Aaah~ once we reach number one then it’s the end?

Thy: Right now, let’s start by aiming for number one.

Sam: right!

Karen: Obviously, we have to ignore haters.

Thy: Let's just focus on becoming number one.
