one week later ..

Kyuhyun and Sungmin relationship still the same as before, they spent every day together but Kyuhyun seems to be a little bit more awkward with the other, Sungmin didn’t try to be intimate with him or do anything that can make him uncomfortable ..

Saturday evening ::

they were sitting on the table eating, Sungmin was resting his chin over his hand looking at Kyuhyun lovingly, Kyuhyun looked to him confused “what’s wrong ?!” ..

Sungmin smiled “nothing.. I just love looking at you !” ..

Kyuhyun smiled “Sungmin, since when you fell in love with me ?!” ..

“since I saved your life from that snake but I only realized it the first time I hugged you !” .. 

Kyuhyun looked surprised “you didn’t even know me back then !” ..

“I didn’t need to know you ! ” ..

“then why you loved me ?!” ..

Sungmin smiled “your personality, your smile, your charm, everything about you made me fall in love with you !”..

Kyuhyun looked sadly “maybe I’m not who you think I am !” ..

Kyuhyun smiled “nothing, this is normal, I cry every night before sleeping so I’m used to this !” ..

“not anymore ! come on, you’ll continue studying tomorrow, go change your clothes and prepare for sleeping !” ..

Kyuhyun blinked “ok !” ..

He came out from the bathroom and looked to Sungmin “so you’re leaving now ?!” ..

Sungmin shook his head “not before you sleep !” ..

“I’m not a kid, Sungmin !” ..

“I know, come on, go to bed !” ..

“w..what ?!” Kyuhyun said nervously ..

Sungmin walked towards him “I’ll sit next to you until you fall to sleep !” ..

Kyuhyun walked slowly and lay in the bed then covered himself immediately ..

Sungmin sat on a chair next to him and held his hand “close your eyes !” ..

“you don’t have to do this, Sungmin, really !” ..

“I’m your boyfriend so I have to !” ..

“why ?!” ..

“because when you know that the person you love can’t sleep at night, you won’t have a good sleep too !” ..

Kyuhyun looked to their hands intertwined with each other then looked to Sungmin “what can you do then, to make him have a good sleep ?!” ..

Sungmin smiled “stay next to him, say sweet simple things, kiss him and sing for him until he falls to sleep !” Sungmin said all what he wishes to do in this moment ..

“ok, can you do that ?!” ..

Sungmin looked surprised “really ?!” ..

Kyuhyun nodded ..

Sungmin smiled and leaned closer to him “I love you, I’ll never leave you, Kyuhyun-ah !” he whispered in Kyuhyun’s ear, Kyuhyun closed his eyes, Sungmin pressed his lips over the other’s softly, just a simple sweet kiss, he pulled back and started singing a soft lullaby ..

Kyuhyun’s breath started to rhythm little by little ..

Sungmin stopped singing and smiled “good night, my love !” he whispered and left the room slowly ..

“so you’re joining the competition ?!” Eunhyuk asked as he sat with Sungmin on one of the seats at the college ..

Sungmin nodded “yes, hope I’ll do well !” ..

“can I come with you to see Kyuhyun today ?! “ Eunhyuk asked calmly ..

Sungmin smiled “of course !” ..

Eunhyuk and Sungmin were waiting for Kyuhyun at the university gate, Kyuhyun walked towards them, Eunhyuk smiled to him “hi, Kyuhyun-ah !” ..

Kyuhyun smiled nervously “hi” ..

“ok, let’s go to the car !” Sungmin said and started walking ..

Eunhyuk walked beside Kyuhyun “why you’re nervous ?!” he asked calmly ..

Kyuhyun looked to him “I’m not nervous !” ..

Eunhyuk smiled “I don’t hate you, Kyuhyun-ah, you’re not the reason why we broke up and I’m really happy for you two, so relax, we’re still friends !” ..

Kyuhyun looked surprised “really ?!” ..

“yes, he wasn’t mine in the first place !” ..

“do you still love him ?!” ..

“maybe .. but everytime I see the way he looks at you, my heart let go more and more !” ..

Sungmin looked to them “hurry up please !” he yelled from a far ..

they reached the car “ok, I’ll go home now, see you !” Eunhyuk said and started walking away ..

“no, stay with us” ..

Eunhyuk turned and looked to Kyuhyun “what ?!” ..

Kyuhyun smiled “Sungmin should practice for the competition, he needs an audience so you should help him" .. 

Eunhyuk looked to Sungmin, the latter smiled and nodded ..

“ok, I have a better idea, why don’t you come to my house !” ..

“ok, why not !” Kyuhyun said and entered the car ..

Kyuhyun rubbed his hands against each other “it’s chilling outside !” ..

Sungmin held his hands and started blowing some air in them ..

Kyuhyun blinked “what are you doing ?!” ..

“warming your hands !” ..

“I’ll make some coffee !” Eunhyuk said and walked to the kitchen ..

“I told leeteuk to get the guitar from the mansion !” Kyuhyun said and freed his hands from Sungmin’s grip “I’m ok now, thank you “ he said smiling ..

Sungmin smiled to him ..

Eunhyuk came from inside carrying a tray “ok, our superstar, what you’re gonna sing ?!” ..

Sungmin took a cup “a song!” ..

“no, I didn’t know that, of course it’s a song, min, what is it?! “..

Sungmin laughed a little “it’s a song I wrote last night!” ..

“you spent the whole night writing a song! “ Eunhyuk said amazed ..

Sungmin smiled “I guess I work really hard for this!” ..

Kyuhyun and Eunhyuk sat on the couch, Sungmin sat in front of them holding the guitar “ok, my lovely audience, are you ready?!” ..

they both clapped ..

Sungmin looked to Kyuhyun and smiled “I can wait forever .." ..

Kyuhyun just stared at him without saying anything ..

Sungmin started playing the guitar ..

Sungmin smiled sadly then got up and sat next to him ..

Eunhyuk walked away giving them some privacy ..

“did you like the song, Kyuhyun-ah?!” Sungmin said and put his hand over the other’s ..

Kyuhyun looked to him and smiled “y..yeah, it was really good!” ..

“I’m glad you like it, now I have to practice everyday, I really want to win, it’s for you!” ..

Kyuhyun only smiled ..

Kyuhyun rested his head over the pillow, Sungmin sat next to him “want me to sing for you today too?!” ..

Kyuhyun shook his head “no, I’m ok, you kept singing the whole day, you should take care of your voice !” ..

“don’t worry about me, ok, I’ll just leave then!” Sungmin said and kissed Kyuhyun’s forehead ..

he was about to walk away but Kyuhyun held his hand, Sungmin turned to him ..

“I’m sorry !” Kyuhyun murmured ..

Sungmin opened his mouth in shock then smiled “for what ?!” ..

“for keeping you waiting, you may wait long !” ..

“I know .. “ Sungmin said calmly ..

Kyuhyun smiled “I’m glad that you're still with me then!” ..

“I love you” Sungmin said softly and left the room ..

Sungmin kept practicing for his performance everyday with Kyuhyun, sometimes with Eunhyuk and his mother too at his house, at the mansion, at the beach, at the park ..

after a whole month comes the day of the competition ..

Sungmin was looking at himself in the mirror wearing a black suit ..

“you look so handsome, hyung !” Sungjin said from behind ..

Sungmin smiled to him ..

“everybody is waiting for you, we have a special guest too!” .. 

Sungmin walked out his room ..

Kyuhyun, Eunhyuk, his parents and Taeyeon were there ..

“tae !” Sungmin said happily and walked towards her ..

she smiled to him “here he comes, our superstar !” ..

he gave her a quick hug “how did you know about this ?!” ..

“Sungjin called me, besides I came because I really missed my prince Kyu !” she said and held Kyuhyun’s arm ..

Kyuhyun blinked and smiled to her ..

Sungmin laughed a little “thank you anyway !” ..

“ok, let’s go, we don’t wanna be late !” Sungmin’s mom said and walked with her husband to the door, everyone followed them ..

Sungmin was standing at the backstage, he looked to the big audience out there and smiled widely “who am I kidding ! this is my dream, this is who I want to be .. I wish this day can last forever .."..

“the next contestant : Lee Sungmin !” some guy called ..

Sungmin walked to the stage “hi everyone, I’m Lee Sungmin .. I wrote this song myself, I hope you’ll like it !” he said smiling and started singing ..

he finished the song, everyone cheered for him loudly ..

“woho, yes, min will win this !” Taeyeon screamed ..

“yes, this is my son, so proud of you baby !” Sungmin’s mom screamed ..

Sungmin waved to them then walked out the stage, Kyuhyun got up and walked to the backstage ..

Sungmin put the guitar at the corner, he saw Kyuhyun walking towards him and smiled ..

“that was really great, Sungmin!” ..

“thank you, Kyuhyun-ah, I was living my dream, thank you so much ” ..

“I told you !” ..

“hope it’s enough to win this !” ..

Kyuhyun smiled “everyone was screaming for you after the performance, you’re so lucky to have such a wonderful family, Sungmin !” ..

Sungmin looked to him sadly then walked towards him “Kyuhyun-ah ..“ ..

“I wanted to show some support too but I didn’t know what to do !” Kyuhyun interrupted ..

Sungmin smiled “you didn’t have to do anything, just being there was enough for me “ ..

Kyuhyun smiled “ok, I have to go now, they’ll announce the results soon !” ..

Sungmin nodded and waved to him ..

all the contestants walked to the stage, Sungmin took a deep breath ..

“everyone did a great job but we can have only one winner .. and the winner is .. “

Sungmin clapped his hands sadly ..Kyuhyun and the others just sat there shocked ..

“no, min should have won !” Taeyeon said sadly ..

“I think she was really good !” his dad said ..

“dad !” Sungjin said with serious tone ..

“min lived his dream today, that all matters !” his mom said ..

“yeah, but we wanted him to win, he worked really hard for this “ Eunhyuk said sadly ..

Sungmin walked towards them ..

“sorry for today baby but you did great !” his mom said and kissed his cheek ..

Sungmin smiled “thanks mom !” ..

“so proud of you, son !” his dad said and hugged him ..

“you’re the winner in our eyes, min !” Eunhyuk said and gave him a quick hug ..

“you were so great minnie !” Taeyeon said happily ..

Kyuhyun was looking at them with admiration “he has a lot of people that care about him, he doesn’t need me, he doesn’t need me at all .. I don’t give anything to him still he stays with me .. I can’t understand, what makes him do that ! is it love ?! .. Is this thing really that strong !” ..

“Kyuhyun-ah ?!” Sungmin called breaking his thoughts ..

he smiled “sorry for what happened, Sungmin “ ..

“so you’re not sad ?! I really wanted to win for you, I’m really sorry ” ..

Kyuhyun just stared at him “what if I’m sad ?!” he said calmly ..

“then I’ll join the competition next year and try again !” ..

Sungmin nodded “yes, I pro..” ..

“no, don’t promise, I’m not sad about it, Sungmin “ ..

Sungmin smiled “really ?!” ..

“I was so happy today, sadly I didn’t win but it’s ok, now let’s go, everyone is outside already !” Sungmin said then they started walking ..

“mr. Lee Sungmin ?!” someone called ..

Sungmin turned “yes ?! “ ..

some man walked towards him “hi, I’m Lee Sooman , the owner of the SM Entertainment company, I heard your singing and I just wanna say, I was really impressed so how about working together !” ..

“thank you, sir, but I didn’t win !” Sungmin said confused ..

Sooman laughed a little “I’m the judge here ! you have an amazing voice and did you really write that song ! It’s so good !” .. 

“thank you so much !” ..

“so Sungmin-ssi, how about I have you as a special guest with my groups the next month ! this is a great opportunity and a little beginning of fame !” ..

Sungmin opened his mouth in shock “wow, really ?! I mean, that would be so great, it’s my dream ! ” ..

Sungmin was in a deep thinking ..

Sungmin opened it ..

Sooyoung bowed to Kyuhyun slightly “there is some guy wants to meet you, young master !” ..

“he wants to meet me ?!” Kyuhyun said confused and walked out the room, Sungmin followed him ..

Kyuhyun entered the guest room and looked to the man that was sitting on the couch ..

his eyes widened in shock, he froze at his position and gulped the saliva in his mouth ..

Sungmin looked to him worriedly ..

the man got up and smiled ..

“nice to see you again, my dearest little brother !” ..
