Technically this is Chapter 36 of 'The Moment I Saw You'

but if you want to just read this as a oneshot without reading

the rest of the story, I guess you can. It will still make sense.

Foreword

If you haven't read 'The Moment I Saw You' then this is the summary of the whole Taoris scenario:

Tao got a letter from his parents telling him that he has to move to China to look after his sick Grandfather, his parents are very strict, so he couldn't say no. He didn't want the pain of having to say goodbye to his friends so he tried to sneak off without telling them, but Chen found out and they all caught him trying to escape in the middle of the night and tried to stop him.

Just as Tao as about to get around them and out the door he was stopped by Kris, his boyfriend. Kris and Tao usually have a very argumentative relationship - Kris had been chasing Tao for a while and they had been having sex before they even officially started dating, but then their feelings gradually grew stronger. So anyway, Kris kisses him and takes him to a hotel in Seoul for the night, and it seems at first that he was able to persuade Tao not to go to China.

Kyungsoo (D.O) arrived at the apartment in Chapter 35, where Sehun, Lu Han, Chen and Kai where (Tao usually lives in this apartment too) and shows them a voice message that Kris had left for everyone. Here is the message he left:

(Warning, Kris swears a lot.)

Hey Kyungsoo – this is a message for everyone else too because I don't want you all to worry so...yeah anyway, it’s Kris but you can probably tell by my voice...haha...um, I know it sounds crazy and please don’t freak out but I’m at the airport right now and I can’t find Tao...damn all these people...

He got on the next fucking plane to Beijing because when I woke up he had taken his bag and passport with him and left me a note that just said ‘I got on the next plane to Beijing, I love you. I’ll see you as soon as I can.’

I mean, what the fuck? Who does he think he is anyway? The Princess of Freedom or what?...That bastard...so just to let you know I’ve taken my passport and I’m using my savings and getting the next plane there, and then I’m hunting him down and dragging his sorry ass back here.

Also, I think Tao took my phone with him so that’s why I’m using this shitty one. Sorry for my bad language but my fucking boyfriend just snuck off to live in a different country.

There was a short silence and all we could hear was the fuzzy sound of the people rushing about in the airport, when Kris spoke again his voice was a lot more soft-spoken, and gentle. And what he said was heartbreaking, the sweet meaning of his words still there despite all the curses.

Don’t get me wrong though, I love him so much, y’know? It’s just the thought of him wandering around alone without me - when there are so many wackos around nowadays just scares the shit out of me.

So I’ll see you guys when I’m dragging him back screaming into your apartment by his feet where I know he’s safe, okay?

Oh crap, I’ve got to go because there’s this man standing outside the booth giving me a really creepy look and I’m about ready to punch someone in the face. Why is he even staring at me? I’m tall, okay?! I’m not a fucking zoo attraction.
