Bang

 “You’re not umma and appa.” The little boy said. Yoobin and Seunghyun just stood there speechless to see 3 little kids still alive and well without a scratch. While the 2 was still staring at the little kids, the boy noticed blood on Yoobin’s hands and immediately yelled "what did you do to umma and appa?!?"

He began to throw whatever they have on their bunk bed to both Yoobin and Seunghyun. Those 2 could only cover themselves. What are we going to tell these kids about their parents?! We can't just say 'your parents are dead'! Seunghyun thought as he took a glance at the angry little children.

"HEY! Stop it!" Yoobin groaned, she was getting pissed at being thrown objects by those little children. She grabbed a plush and threw it to the wall behind those kids to make them shut up. "You wanna know what happened to your parents?! They're dead." Wow, really subtle.... Just tell them like that! Seunghyun gave ‘have you lost your fucking mind!?’ look to Yoobin. Seems like Yoobin wanted to just make them stop throwing objects at her but has just gone too far, the kids immediately wailed and cried at the two last words they heard her say. She turned to Seunghyun and saw him now making a sad disapponted look on his face, “I-i just wanted them to stop....”

Seunghyun sighed and climbed up to the bunk bed, “Listen kids, she’s right your parents are dead.” The 3 kids wept even louder, Seunghyun tried to hug  them but the little boy kicked his torso. Seems like the boy’s kicks didn’t stop him from hugging the boy. “There were bad people, monsters, they were here and they’ll come back here again so i need all 3 of you to come with me.”

“NO!” The 3 yelled simultaniously and began to kick and punch Seunghyun. Well, at least i tried.

Little did they know their yells and groans had attracted a small pack of zombies to their location. The kids suddenly stopped moving and just screamed, then ran behind Seunghyun’s back. “What is it?”

“M-monsters...” The little girl pointed towards Yoobin.

“Oh come on! Just because i yelled doesn’t mean i’m a monster!”

Seunghyun was about to laugh until he saw what the little girl meant, there was a zombie limping it’s way to Yoobin. “YOOBIN GET DOWN!” In a split second Seunghyun jumped down the bunk bed and began to fire his gun at a zombie behind her.  He fired his gun until he was all out of bullets, now he ran out of bullets and there’s seemed to be more zombies.

“CLOSE THE DOOR!!!” Yoobin ordered. Seunghyun did what she said and just banged the door shut, then the two just began to push huge random items towards the door to hold it.

“Now how do we get out!?” Seunghyun asked. They are now trapped inside a room with 3 children who are now yelling their lungs out.

“WILL THOSE THREE SHUT UP!? I’M THINKING HE-the windows...” the two ran to the windows and saw literally dead people lying on the road.

“Now let me rephrase that question, how do we get down!?”

“Ahjusshi! The door!! The door!!” One of the little girl yelled pointing at the door, it was obvious to all of them that it wont hold any longer.

“I saw a huge garbage bin below, we can jump off! And don’t call me ahjusshi! Seriously i’m not that old!” Seunghyun grabbed the two little girls while Yoobin was holding the little boy, when Seunghyun was already outside the window Yoobin was still having second thoughts whether about their escape plan. What if we die? But it’s either die here or die there. But then she thought again it seems like dying there seemed like a better option.  “Yoobin hurry up! We’re not going to die! There’s children here!”

OH THE HELL WITH IT! She grabbed his hand and they both jumped down to the huge garbage bin. “ARE WE DEAD YET!?!?!? ARE WE DEAD YET!?!?!” Yoobin kept repeating  what she said until the little boy smacked her face.

“Noisy!”

“And yes we are still alive.” Seunghyun replied, apparently he also got his soul back.

All of them was still panting and trying to gain their souls again. After regaining full consciousness they got up and ran. They ran to where ever their legs can manage to take them and just hope it’s a safe place. They kept running until their feet couldn’t take it anymore so they made a turn and hid at an abandoned  coffee shop. They stopped after thinking that they already outrun those zombies and to catch their breaths, running while carrying children is very tiring. They sat down the floor while checking the children if they are hurt, mentally saluting parents who can seemingly run a marathon while carrying babies. They stayed there for awhile and for that time the little kids never left their side, constantly hugging Seunghyun and Yoobin.

The vibe is too tense, sad and depressing. Seunghyun thought as he looked at the kids with their eyes red and watery. “So what are your names?” he suddenly ask.

“I’m Leo and i don’t like her!” The little boy now known as Leo walked away from Yoobin’s embrace to cross his hand, showing an obvious expression of annoyance to her.

The older girl gasps in shock, showing an expression of disbelief. “Well i don’t like you either, so you can just forget about coming with us and be here for all i care!” Yoobin spat back. The little boy’s eyes widened in fear and shock, he started to whine, showing signs that he’s about to cry again. Yoobin stood up wanting to walk to the other side of the cafe but was stopped when Leo suddenly hugged her leg. “What? Didn’t you say you don’t like me?” Leo whimpered.

“Yoobin...” Seunghyun said, "He's still a little kid for heaven's sake."

"Not an excuse." She firmly replied.

"Yoobin he's going to cry and we'll all die here! do you seriously want them to die like that!?"

The elder girl sighed in defeat, she squated down to look the boy straight in the eye. “C’mere.” She said as she opened her arms and hugged the boy. “I’ll be the one protecting you from now on, Leo. Either you want to or not you gotta start liking me! Or else i’ll throw you a-“

“YOOBIN!” Seunghyun yelled in a warning tone.

“Or else i’ll throw you a...a..a...bad piece of vegetable!” The boy could only hug her back and whimper in her embrace as she carried him.

“I wonder how you’ll be like as a mother.” Seunghyun muttered. Now already knowing the little boy’s name he turned his gaze to the two little girls that’s hugging him. “And how about you two? What are your names?”

“Lauren! I’m Lauren!” The little girl with a long hair exclaimed happily. Seunghyun studied her appereances, she can still look cheerful and happy, and she looks adorable. “That’s Dayoung.” She pointed at the other little girl with the shoulder length hair. Dayoung just burried her face to Seunghyun’s chest when Lauren pointed her.

“I see. Are you guys related?” All 3 of them nodded at the question.

“I’m in the middle!” Lauren exclaimed happily again.

“And i’m the youngest!” Leo suddenly bolted up.

“So that means little miss shy here is the eldest kid.” The little girl slightly nodded then hugged Seunghyun even more tightly than before. “Well, I’m Seunghyun and that girl over there is Yoobin. we’re both going to take good care of you from now on.” The kids didn’t respond to what he said, they just went back to hugging. “What now Yoobin?”

“My legs hurt, Seunghyun...i think we should stay here for an hour or so.”

“Well in that case we should get a little bit more to the back for safety.”

“Good idea.”

The five moved to the back side of the counter for safety. They noticed that the place still had a few cans of food and drinks so they decided to take them. While Yoobin and Seunghyun was busy packing food inside their bags the little ones secretly left, the little kids saw an open door behind the counter and decided to go check out of curiosity not knowing what awaits them.

After a few minnutes of packing Seunghyun realized that the kids was being awfully quiet so he decided to check, but when he turned around they were gone. “Y-Yoobin....w-where are the kids?” He stutterd to ask, panicking.

“They’re right-“ Yoobin turned around, “There...” both of them mentally cursed everything in their head.

Goddammit to hell......

Both of them began to stand up and scatter the place without caring about anything else. They were shit out of their mind scared, they let three little kids run loose in a post-apocalyptic world where there are mindless human eating monsters running loose. They weren’t thinking straight.

Suddenly a scream was heard, Lauren’s scream.

“It came from that door!!” Seunghyun and Yoobin ran towards the door for dear life the minute they heard her high pitched scream.

“SEUNGHYUN!!!!”
