I held onto Kris’ hand and tears quickly fell.

 

“Kris, I hope you’re fine…” I said between my sniffs and sobs. “I won’t let what happened in the past happen again.”

 

I held on his hand tighter while I rested my head on the bed.

 

“Kris… I love you so much that it’s alright for you to marry my sister.” My heart died once again.
