Bruised Hearts
Description
Himchan doesn't have forever any longer, but that doesn't mean he can't give Yongguk whatever he has left.
Foreword
Sequel to It's Too Late Now
The disease progressed more quickly than Yongguk thought it would. The medicine was expensive and it made Himchan ill. The fact that he insisted on continuing to work probably wasn’t helping any either. The doctors said he could live a normal life, but Yongguk hadn’t seen any evidence that it was possible. Himchan had to constantly check himself over for injuries and the medicines had him stuck on bed rest at least twice a week. That wasn’t living.
Yongguk was always there though. He wouldn’t leave no matter how hard Himchan tried to push him away. He didn’t seem to care that Himchan said he wanted to be left alone to die. He slid into Himchan’s bed, wrapping his arms around his waist. The younger male had been losing weight at an alarming rate but the doctors told them it was normal. “How are you feeling today?”
“I’ve been better and I’ve been worse.”
