They walked down the hall together before he led her to a secluded hallway in the Alphas section.

“Umm..” She started to say, no one but Alphas were allowed to be there.

“Don’t worry. The rule is that no one is allowed without permission from an Alpha.” Yesung assured.

“And as an Alpha, I am giving you permission.” He smiled before tucking her hair behind her ear.

“Oh.” She said quietly before looking down away from him, she didn’t want to make anything worse. Especially after Jessica got mad at her because Alpha Yesung and Gamma Junsu kept asking her to them back to their classrooms or wherever they needed to go.

“Are you okay?” He asked her.

She gave herself the first once-over she had been to get since Jessica pushed her, “There might be a bruise somewhere on my body later since girls bruise easily, but other than that, I’m okay.” She answered.

Yesung let out a sigh of relief, “That’s good. I was worried that she did more than just push you.” He said.

Kyung Mi bit her lip, “You know you’re not supposed to care for me.” She said softly.

He took her chin and tilted her face up to look at him again, “That doesn’t stop me from caring.” He said.

“I know.” She replied, “That’s what makes me worried.”

He reached for her hair again and found a long brunette strand sticking out from underneath the blonde, “What is this?” He asked.

Kyung Mi’s eyes grew wide as she stared at the evidence of her rule-breaking. “Nothing.” She answered abruptly, taking the strand out of his fingers and hiding it under her hair.

“Is that your real hair?” He whispered almost soundlessly. There was one camera in the hallway but the mics were everywhere.

Kyung Mi froze and didn’t answer. Yesung could guess that he was right.

“Don’t say anything, please.” She begged him. “I don’t want to go to Punishment, Hyuna said that last time had to do something extra for the male Punishers.” She said.

Yesung’s face paled slightly but given the dim light it was hard for Kyung Mi to tell, “Extra?” He asked.

Kyung Mi nodded, “I’m not sure what exactly but Sungjae said the same as well, when he had female Punishers so I’m guessing it has to be something with the genders being opposite.” She said.

Yesung swallowed nervously, “I won’t tell.” He said.

“Really??” Kyung Mi exclaimed.

Yesung nodded, “I promise I won’t, just keep escorting me when I ask please?” He asked.

“Anything.” She told him.

“And I want a hug later.” He said.

Kyung Mi nodded her head eagerly, “Of course.” She said.

Yesung smiled once more, he kissed her cheek and pulled away from her, “Go on to class. Don’t want you to be late.” He said.

Kyung Mi blushed at his kiss and walked away slowly before breaking off into a run in anxiety.

Once she reached the classroom and sat down next to Ren, she realized the truth. Yesung was officially blackmailing her with her secret to stay by him. Stupid girl, she thought before smacking her forehead.

“What’s wrong?” Ren asked her.

“Nothing.” Kyung Mi shook her head, “Something stupid that’s all.” She whispered.

“Tell the others that there will be a meeting tonight, I have some news to share.” She said.

“Understood. I will pass the message along.” Ren nodded slowly, “Now will you tell me what happened?” He pressed.

Kyung Mi sighed, “Short version. Yesterday Ilhoon confessed to me, I talked to Yong Guk oppa, he said to do what my heart says, this morning I told Ilhoon no. Jessica pushed me down, Yesung saved me, now he knows I have long hair and he seems to be blackmailing to hang out with him.” She said all in one whisper.

Ren gaped at her, “Kyung Mi, you certainly get around. How did all of that happen in the course of 18 hours?” He said.

“No idea. But I need to relax during free time today. You can get Jihyun to help you set up right?” She asked him.

Ren smiled at her, “Of course I can. Go find your happy place and stay there. Drama is not fun.” He told her.

“Tell me about it.”
