Chapter 15 – Party Plans

Sejun’s POV:

So Luhan only came cause he wanted to tell us to about his friend’s surprise birthday party. I’m betting he’s a good-looking guy too but eh, they’re still losers.

“You guys know whose birthday it is, right?” he asked.

The boys beamed and nodded but I only said, “No.” They all turned to look at me. Sehun with his disapproving look, Chanyeol with his innocent look & eyes blinking at me, Luhan with a chuckle & Baekhyun with a playful smirk. “What?!”

“It’s Suho hyung’s birthday, doofus.” Sehun said.

And then I hear it’s about Suho’s birthday. The guy I least hate in Sehun’s group of friends, next to Byun Baekhyun of course. Well, I’m sorry, Kim Suho!

“Oh.” Was the only thing I said, adding up a goofy grin.

“Yeah. It’s on the 22^nd so we still have 3 days to get ready for it,” Luhan explained.

“Oooh! Suho hyung’s going to be sooooooo surprised & happy!”

“What are you guys gonna get him?”

“Hmm… I’m not sure yet,”

Boring. I instantly drift off from their conversation until Baekhyun nudged me, “What are you going to get Suho hyung, Jun?”

I looked back and blinked; a habit Chanyeol & I share, “I don’t know… Milk? So he can grow taller,” I shrugged.

Chanyeol blinked again, see what I told you? “Wah! That is a great idea!”

I noticed Luhan roll his eyes instead of Sehun, who, by the way, was staring at me as if thinking my idea is great as well, “You little meanie.”

I pouted purposely, a hobby of mine when Luhan’s around, just so I can pull him in with my aegyo. And he was, again. He smiled at my aegyo. I only smiled back and shrugged, “It’s true! I want the best for my Suho oppa,” I emphasized, seeing any expressions on Chanyeol’s face.

I noticed Chanyeol shot up, “Yah!” Kekekeke. What’s up with me calling people ‘oppa’? It’s not that special anyways, at least I… think it isn’t…

I just stuck my tongue out at him and grinned playfully, somehow I’m being so happy today. “Chanyeol oppa. There I said it, now get off my back!”

“Even though you did call me with oppa, I still know you’ll never do it again so I have to remind you!” he happily blabbered

“I said it’s not a habitual thing for me! I grew up with idiotic childhood friends, how can they be deserving of my oppa?!” I teased, implying at Sehun & Baekhyun.

Baekhyun suddenly shot up, “Yah. You called us ‘oppa’ often before. I remember because I missed those days you know!” sometimes I always think Baekhyun has at least a crush on me too. Hmm… Funny, I doubt that. Nevertheless, I still appear so happy & cheerful around him… and girly even, which I hate being.

Yeah, I giggled, “Well too bad, Byun Baekhyun. This girl has changed!” I hope he knew that.

“I know that,” he suddenly gave me a soft smile, along with that twinkle in his eyes. Seriously, ever since that talk, his eyes twinkled more than ever!

Feeling heat growing in my cheeks, I look away with a smile, facing Chanyeol, “Understand, Park Chanyeol?”

Chanyeol smiled back & nodded, “Ne, Oh Sejunnie~”

Third Person’s POV:

Being distracted from the conversation, the three didn’t notice Sehun & Luhan’s conversation about the party.

“How are we gonna do this?” Sehun asked

“It’s just going to be a small get-together party, you know how Suho hyung doesn’t like making a lot of fuss just because of him,” Luhan said

“Right!”

Eventually, the others joined in as well, “So where is it?”

“His apartment of course, but we need a distraction…” the boys drift off to think until Sejun disrupted

“Wait! Is Hyeri invited?” Sejun suddenly interrupted, even though Baekhyun would be there, she wouldn’t want to be the only girl around.

“Of course!” Luhan grinned

Sejun nodded, “Good,”

After then, they started talking about the plans for the party. Sometimes, Sejun would grow uninterested and only talk when the boys talk to her.
