Background:

He was a JYP trainee but due to bad criticism and reviews, he ended up leaving the company. He moved to a different company and trained there for 5 years before finally transferring to Cube, while he was just a trainee at CUBE, he became Kikwang's back-up dancer. Then known as AJ.

Kikwang and Yoseob had been friends since middle school. After CUBE decided to place Kikwang in a group instead, Yoseob was also chosen for the same group which is known BEAST.

Family background:

He has an older sister who is married and has a child, his parents own a  family restaurant which is very popular among students and the general public. He generally has a good relationship with his parents and sister, he goes to visit them whenever he has time.

Personality:

He is a funny, childish guy who is really confident now. He works hard everytime to get his recordings up to a high standard to prove to himself and JYP how good of a vocalist he is. He loves posing for his fans and mostly doing aegyo for them.

He is also known as the dance machine, he loves dancing and especially BBoying. He is a show-off and a cocky guy but once he starts trusting you, he will show you his real personality. His personal goal is to be more popular.
