Looking at a blank wall, Myungsoo mused. Why was Amber Josephine Liu so perfect? So flawless?

Maybe it was because she was different. She wasn't a stereotypical girl—a vain girl. She was the kind of girl perfectly content with wearing sweats and a tank top. She was the kind of girl that didn't have to wake up, wash their face, put on their makeup, and take hours to get ready. She wasn't the type of girl to go on a diet to maintain her weight unless she needed to.

Or maybe, it was because of her naïve nature. Sure, she could be rude, and sure, she could be blunt, but she was honest. She didn't know deceit until it was in front of her. She trusted too easily. She left her heart on her sleeve, but he loved it. He loved her.

Then again, it could've been her smile. That phenomenal smile that made him giddy. That marvelous smile that struck the core of his soul. That stupendous smile that was always there. Being around her made him happy, and both of them knew it. She was special that way.

And he smiled. Now that he thought about it, he realized something: he didn't care. Amber was Amber, and that was it.
