I need you Himchan...
Bang was proud of himself that he didn't even flinch when Zelo walked into the room and laid comfortably beside Jongup. He didn’t move a muscle when Jongup compassionately kissed Zelo on the lips and rested his head in the crook of the younger' neck, while Zelo snaked his arms around Jongup’s slim waist and kissed his head. He didn’t even breathe. It wasn’t until Youngjae firmly patted his back to snap him out of his trance did he even realize everyone was laying down except for him and Youngjae, who has specifically gotten up just to tell Bang to lay down. Yongguk laughed fretfully and his eyes caught Zelo looking at him, looking at him with concern. Ignoring him, he lay down next to Himchan and did what Jongup was doing; hoping Himchan would get the hint and just hold him, but the other did not comply. Instead, he sat up, making Yongguk let out a groan of disenchantment. Looking to him, he noted that Himchan was mouthing something to the youngest two. He couldn’t make out what it was, but all he cared was that Himchan was going to hold him. Truth be told, he felt pathetic that he was the one being held, and not the one doing the holding. Yongguk was bigger, stronger, and older; physically the one who should do the protecting. But emotionally, he was a wreck. Sure, he’d told Himchan he was over Zelo, but who was he to kid? He’d loved Zelo for close to a year, and he wasn’t just going to let him go so soon. No, he didn't want him back, but it hurt to see him move on so quickly.
Though, same could be said for him. There he was, arms firmly secured around Himchan’s waist and hands planted on his sides, fingers running up and down, making Himchan shoot a glance down every so often to signal him to stop, but he wouldn’t. More of, he couldn’t. The feel of Himchan’s creamy, smooth and absolutely flawless skin under his fingers was more than bliss. He didn’t care that everyone was watching. As a matter of fact, he wanted everyone to watch. Yongguk wanted everyone to know that Himchan was his, and only his. Daehyun and Youngjae watched his fingers dance across Himchan’s skin; occasionally leave small red marks where he’d scratch, because Bang wanted to sleep, but only if Himchan was flush at his side. Bang looked up at the couple, which was sitting next to each other in a chair, one slightly perched in the other’s lap for maximum comfort and space. Their legs were extended on the chair’s end, legs overlapping and toes wiggling against the sole of the other’s foot, both of them giggling at the other’s behavior.
They were so in love, it hurt to watch. Yongguk sighed, placing his face on his own lover’s side, bringing hand around to lift up Himchan’s shirt slightly. Himchan, who was still engrossed in conversation, swatted his hand down and continued talking, attempting to ignore the blatant affection he was receiving. Bang persisted, lifting up Himchan’s shirt again slightly and giving a small kiss on his side, sucking lightly despite all eyes on him. He heard Youngjae whisper something explicit in Daehyun’s ear, who snapped his head to look Youngjae in the eyes and shut him up by firmly placing a finger over full, peachy lips. Zelo, who was now fully aware of the other two couples showing, or rather suppressing, immanent PDA, decided it was his turn to start something with his significant other. It was still raining outside, thunder still booming, and Jongup was still shaking, but slightly less now. Crafty as ever, Zelo snuck a hand up Jongup’s shirt, tracing lines through perfectly toned abs, making Jongup slightly bite down on Zelo’s shoulder while Himchan still spoke to them.
No was quite sure what he was saying, for they were all entranced in their own little world. Yongguk was still sucking Himchan’s side, and Youngjae was still whispering sweet and sour nothings into Daehyun’s ear, who now was fighting a blush and arousal. Himchan, still talking, even felt himself start to lose it. As for Jongup; he’d lost it. All couples, wanting to pounce on one another, could do nothing in the presence of the other men. Once Himchan realized no one was listening, he slumped down on the floor and was immediately taken over by Yongguk’s hands, which were running all over Himchan’s torso and slipping under the elastic of his pants, never getting more than an inch away from Himchan’s budding erection. No one dared to speak, only hands ran ramped around bodies and the only things that would be louder than the thunder going on would be the moans and shouts of lover’s having sex with one another. Rain pounded hard on the house, drowning out whispers and whimpers alike. Daehyun, who now had thrown his leg around Youngjae and locked lips with him, moaned lightly as Youngjae palmed the bulge in his jeans. Jongup, who was terribly shaking from fear, couldn’t help but to inhale a bit too sharply when Zelo started sucking on his earlobe.
Yongguk, who had stopped his antics, just held Himchan close, occasionally kissing his cheek. For once, he was the one doing the holding. After Himchan had lain down, Bang took advantage and nestled Himchan against his body, which the smaller man accepted whole-heartedly. Yongguk tucked his arms under Himchan’s and placed his hands gently on top of Himchan’s, lacing their fingers together. He couldn’t help but to smiled against the back of Himchan’s neck, making Himchan smile with happiness himself. Though the four other around them were busy with their lives, the two on the ground shut them out and drifted off to sleep in an affectionate miasma, ignoring the moans around them that were growing louder.
I can’t let this happen. My best friend deserves the best birthday ever. I love you. Be strong. I’m here of you need a shoulder to cry on.
He didn’t want to wake up in spite of his back hurting. He didn’t want to move regardless of Daehyun yelling at him. He wouldn't move as long as Yongguk was holding him, because it was where he felt the safest. But his dreams were short lived when he had noticed Bang was awake, but not moving too as he kept whispering Pretend to be asleep in Himchan’s ear. As inconspicuous as he could be, Himchan nodded and pressed his back closer into Yongguk, who in turn held him closer than ever as the men around them slowly began to scatter, giving up trying to wake them. When all were gone, Himchan parted his lips slightly and mumbled ‘Good morning’, which made Yongguk smile widely, kissing his partner’s head and nuzzling his face into his hair.
“Good morning to you too, princess.” Yongguk murmured out groggily, face still buried in Himchan’s blonde hair. Himchan laughed slightly and turned over to face Yongguk, kissing him on the lips and moving to be in his arms again.
“Princess?” he questioned, lifting his leg to wrap around Bang’s waist. Himchan made a face of discomfort temporarily, causing Yongguk to laugh.
“Your hips are really bony...” he said, pulling his legs off the other and sitting up, ruffling his hair and looking around sleepily. Yongguk suppressed a smile and Himchan smacked him on the chest, rolling his eyes and pushing himself away.
“Aish, Yongguk. It’s not even ten and you’re already thinking about that!” Himchan teased, trying to get to his feet but slipping due to the socks he was wearing. Fate would have it he’d land into Yongguk’s arms with his ear right next to Yongguk’s mouth, hearing all that was being said.
“Sorry if they’re bony but soon enough they’re going to be drilling into you, right?” Bang said in a low, sultry voice. Heat rose into Himchan’s face and his ears reddened while he hurriedly scooted away from Yongguk, who was swiping at him to pull him back in.
“I was kidding!” Yongguk yelled as he got up, chasing Himchan around the house and through every room. Zelo and Jongup watched form the kitchen table, shoveling waffles down their throats while Youngjae and Daehyun cleaned the dishes, two plates out to the side with food still on them.
After a bit, Himchan and Yongguk were both out of breath, staggering into the kitchen and picking up the plates, not even bothering to reach the table before they sat down. Youngjae gave a disapproving look, but left the kitchen to sit on the couch with Daehyun. The two of them ate in silence while the youngest two chattered about a new game they had bought, abstaining from contact with the ones on the floor. Himchan seemed to eat in under a minute, but Yongguk was far from done. Bang frowned when Himchan got off the floor to clean his plate and set it in the dishwasher, put he soon returned to sit next to Yongguk again, setting a hand on his knee and his head on his shoulder.
“I’m worried.” Himchan said, making Bang stop eating. Yongguk lightly moved him off his body and picked up his plate, washing it, then pulled Himchan from the floor. Both of them walked hand in and outside, stopping only a bit out of the front door and standing there, looking at one another.
“What’s bothering you?” Yongguk asked delicately, stroking Himchan’s hair. The younger man stood, dumbfounded and edgy to speak. He let out a breath he was holding in and looked away.
“Jongup. I think he has really bad anxiety. And not like the before performances anxiety, but just life anxiety. He hasn’t been himself lately, and I know that doesn’t seem like much of a change, but last night, when he... you know. That was the first time in awhile. It’s really worrying me. And... and Youngjae and Daehyun. The drugs. Everyone is falling apart Yongguk, and I’m wondering; when is it our turn?”
Yongguk stopped stroking Himchan’s hair and kissed him on the head firmly, pulling back and smiling broadly.
“I was in the hospital yesterday because I had a mental breakdown, and you’re already anticipating another falter? Have you no faith in me, and us, Kim Himchan?” Yongguk asked laughing, shaking him by the shoulders. Though Yongguk’s laugh was normally infectious to the younger, he stood with a straight face.
“This isn’t funny. I’ve wanted to drink again and I got a call from someone. It’s not another boy, you don’t have to worry about that. It was someone much worse. I can only hope you can guess.” Himchan sputtered out, wiping his eyes and falling into Bang’s open arms. Yongguk held him and kissed his head over and over, waiting for him to calm down, but he didn’t. His sobs only got worse. He had to bite down on Yongguk’s shirt to prevent himself from wailing, and Bang could only stand there. Himchan had no idea what made the person inclined to call him, or why they said the words they did, but he didn’t want to deal with it. Not now, not when he was so close to happiness. Everyone in the dorm was on their last end, and he was soon to follow. He had to be strong, if not for himself, but for everyone.
Himchan couldn’t pull himself together. He felt himself being lifted off the ground by a pair of strong arms, holding him bridal style as he was carried though a familiar house, and placed on a familiar bed, being sung too by a familiar voice. The voice wasn’t he best he’d ever heard, but it was soothing. It was low and baritone, and the hand that was running though his hair felt familiar too. All he knew was that he was comfortable with all that was familiar, and he didn’t want to invite in the unknown.
