School Tour 101
Tic toc tic toc
The sound of the clock at the living room was clicking loudly to Chanyeol’s ear while he was sitting at couch. It was 11:30 in the morning, almost near to turn noon. After he got home from his teacher’s house, he just sat like couch potato on their leather sofa. He didn’t move an inch since then. What would the four eyes do? It was holiday. Baekhyun texted that they luckily didn’t have any homework yesterday. That caused him to decrease his function as a student this day.
“Aish!” It was a total boring day.” He complained, kicking the coffee table made in glass off in front of him (thank god it did not broke).
“Help me…” A familiar voice suddenly flashes in his mind. It was the ghost who showed her life to him. They separated last night when he collapsed at the floor again.
“Hmmmm, I should visit her I guess.” He chuckeled, thinking it was silly that he was going to hang out with a wandering spirit at the school.
It was already 3 o’clock afternoon when he finally settled off to school. As expected no human presence can be found on it, since it was holiday. Not even guards were watching near the gate. The boy slowly climbed their tall gate to sneak inside there; he was just making sure that his school didn’t install an electric shock on it. After a couple of moment, Chanyeol was finally on the other side of the gate. He was about to stretch his arm after that full of effort penetration when…
“Hey!” Chanyeol did not get any shocked from the gate but from you.
“Damn you! Do ghost really need to surprise people?” He angrily asked. His poor heart almost fell on the floor so he was holding his right chest.
“I’m sorry. I just felt your presence now that I’m familiar with your sense.” Chanyeol creeped out with what you said. “Anyway, what are you doing here? Are you looking for me, Oppa?”
Chanyeol couldn’t control his reflexes and automatically hit your head.
“Hya, Ahjumma! Haven’t you died a couple of years now?”
“You’re getting to my nerves boy! And don’t call me ahjumma, I just died 4 years ago when I was 17.” You were rubbing your head in pain. Chanyeol was feeling weirder on you because ghost can still felt even they were dead. On the other hand, as Chanyeol think of it, Kris mentioned to him that he graduated 3 years ago in high school. Kris and you were same age that made you 21 if you were alive.
“Hey! What’s the matter boy?” You notice Chanyeol became quite. The senior student shook of his head to answer.
“But technically I’m younger than you!” He raised his left eyebrow and left you behind snobbishly.
“Is that what you’re thinking all this time?” You complained, walking after him.
Chanyeol was still walking continuously while you were following him behind. He was so amazed of his surroundings; it was his first time to be alone in the walking in that bright afternoon.
“When do you think you’re gonna stop walking, boy?” You asked. The boy did what you said.
“Noona?” He said. “From the flashbacks you showed to me, why you didn’t provide the scene you died.” He was looking at you sternly.
“That? Why a sudden question?” You look nervous when he opened that topic.
“Answer please…” Chanyeol said like a brat who wants to get what he asked for. You moved closer to him with you hear glued down the floor, tapped his shoulder.
“It’s not a good scene for a teen ager like you to see my blood-flashing-death you know.” Chanyeol quickly remove your hand to his shoulder, his getting more childish than before.
“Come on! If that’s the case it’s alright. I could take it! How could I help you if you’re going to hide it from me?” You were enlightened when you heard the word help on what he said. Finally after roving around the school for a couple of years someone finally offered his hand.
“Really? However…” You doubted. The shine in your eyes was gone.
“What?” If you make him mad it seemed like he will hit you again.
“If you see this don’t try to laugh. You promise me you will still help me to what I want.”
“Ok ok I swear!” He surrendered. “And, why would I laugh anyway?” Chanyeol was getting impatient and pulled your hands. “Show me.” The boy commanded. You could not refuse to him anymore. Flashes of light showed to him again.
As we resumed your death story, the hair pin in your palm slowly fell on the ground. You stepped backward the edge and you were really about to leave that spot. You were not actually thinking about ending your life that day. Not until a sudden blow of air like zephyr raged on you. It was very strong that can be almost forming to tornados. You were losing control of your body that ended you to slip on the ground.
That is how your life ended…
“Hahahahaha!” An echoing laugh came out to Chanyeol’s throat after seeing that misfortunate death.
“I told you not to laugh!” You slapped his arms because of annoyance but the boy was still enjoying his laughter.
“That is how you died?” He was tearing in laughter. The boy seemed unsatisfied with what he viewed and asked you mischievously.
“Hey! It’s not funny that I ended up like that.”
“You were really pathetic.” His laughter never died. You were now shaking because of your irritation to him.
“I already know that since birth.”
“So, how will I aid you if you passed away like that? I thought you want to get revenge to all the people who messed up your life. It’s an accident you know, they didn’t know anything about it seriously.” You stopped shaking him, pausing for a moment of silent. Chanyeol’s LOLling also stopped. “Noona?”
“It’s not only my life that I lose that day.” You stepped away from him and turned back. “I also lose my body as I realized I’m already dead.”
“But how?” He asked in confusion.
It was already night when you wake up, a stormy one. You slowly get up the floor of your school. You can view the rooftop from where you fell. How come you were still alive after that? You also notice that it was raining but you could not feel the rain pouring on you just explain that you were absolutely not a part of the mortal world anymore. You shift your eyes to the ground but your body was nowhere to be found. Your heart was pounding like crazy, confused and frustrated to what is happening. You run all over the place, shouted “Hello!”, assuming that someone might answer. You finally get tired and sit on the side of the corridors.
The next morning, you woke up. A crowd of student was passing in front of you. They just pass through you, clearing out that you were officially a real ghost. You were so upset learning this out. You ran to your room to check out your classmates. However, new faces filled that area up.
“How?” The question popped out in your mind. How would you see different appearances after you died? How long have you been unconscious after you regained yourself last night? “The calendar!” You quickly think that it’s a good way to get one of your questions. You turned around and you see the one you were finding. Like an auto focus camera your eyes targeted automatically to the year.
“Crap! One year passed already?”
“How did I regain myself after one year? There was something really going on after my death.” You protested.
“What a twist of fate you got there, noona.” Chanyeol smirked as he move closer to you.
“I know right?”
“Have you tried to go out of this place by any chance to look for some answer?”
“Of course, my death was no trace at all in this place so I assumed I could find answer outside. But, the wall and gates surrounding this school seemed to be blocking me. If I try to penetrate them I receive electrifying shock.”
“Hey, that was what I was finding before entered this school today.” You glared to him because he could still give his damn jokes at this kind of time. “So that means you could only be here forever. Maybe your body was still here after all.”
“Huh?” You wonder.
“I read from some books that if the spirit was wandering on that place it’s either he died on there or his body was stock on it.”
“Really? Are you making stories to cheer me up?”
“No.” He opposed. “Come on let’s try searching your body to this place. If you search it alone before you might have a better outcome if someone is with you finding it.” You were delighted again of his motivation.
“Ok!” The two of you started moving forward to start your mission.
I'm really sorry for this boring as Chanyeolita's day chapter. It was really hard to give off this story when the children's manager was minitoring you and would say "Don't try to do something wrong with you generation.". Damn at home I can't visit this page because my sister would know my secret hobby (writing a fanfic), one the reason why I can't update it quickly. I'm trying my hardest to give you off my story. I also do apoligize if the fic is more than a ghost story than an ff. I'm just trying to share my personal story with ff. Romance of Krisyeol would be far to reach for now but I swear I will give it to you even if it's too late.
