At Incheon airport

"ASSA!"
"Im finally back to this familiar place where i've lived for 23 years" exasperated Yuri happily
"Hmm.. i should go straight back home to put my luggage&go look for Sica"
"Miss her so badly!"

While walking out of the airport with her shades on, Yuri was grinning widely,
unable to contain her happiness to think of it that she's gonna be with Sica in less than an hour.

Entering the familiar looking mansion, tugging her luggage behind,
Yuri was welcomed by a surprised butler lee.

"Ms Yuri?" called butler lee surprised
"You're back?"

"Thats right" smiled Yuri happily
"Where's Sica?"
"I wanna surprise her"
"But can you help me bring my luggage to my room?"

"Oh, bringing your luggage to your room is no problem Ms Yuri"
"As for Ms Jessica, she left house really early before i was up i think"
"She's been like this ever since you left, i think she's missing you a lot"
"And because you didnt contact her for a week plus, she actually fell sick missing you i think"
"She's sick for a week now, she didnt wanna rest at home" explained butler lee
"Her fever was on for days"

"Jinjja?!"
"And she went to work?!" asked Yuri shocked.
"Whats gonna happen to her heart ?!"

"Im not sure too"
"But i've seen her taking pain killers in the middle of the night"
"Go look for Ms Jessica, she should be in her office"
"Make her feel better, i think missing you is what made her sick" said butler lee as he pulled Yuri's luggage up the stairs.

Yuri's POV

Sica-ah..?
How can you be like this?
Its only like 2 weeks since i last contacted you.
How can you fall sick just because we didnt manage to contact each other..?

30 minutes later, Yuri arrived at Jessica's office but found it to be empty.
After asking around for 10 minutes, Yuri then got the idea of Jessica,
had left for a meeting 2 hour ago&had not returned back to the office although the meeting had supposedly ended 1 hour ago.
So the conclusion was, Jessica went somewhere else.

Yuri's POV

Where could she possibly have gone?!
Plus she's sick!
How can she work&wander off like that!
Wait till i find her, she's gonna get it from me!

Sitting by the beach, enjoying the cool sea breeze was Jessica.
Jessica was at the beach ever since the meeting ended, sitting there,
letting the cold breeze blow at her while reminiscing the time where she watched the sunrise with Yuri before she left for America.

Jessica's POV

Yuri-ah..
Im missing you so so much..
Why didnt you even answer or pick up my call..?
Am i too annoying or something..?

Im so coldd here..
Or is it my fever thats making me cold..?
I need your warmth, Yuri..
But i know this is just part of my wishful thinking..

Yuri went around, over a lot of places searching for Jessica but to no avail.
It was already late at night yet Yuri couldnt find Jessica.
She went through places that Jessica loved to visit but to no avail too.
Calling Jessica's phone for the hundredth times but got directed to the voicemail.

"Aish!"
"This is driving me crazy!" exasperated Yuri

*PHONE CALL*

"Yoboseyo"

"Butler lee, is Sica back yet?"

"Oh Ms Yuri"
"Ms Jessica wont be back till midnight"

"Midnight?!"
"Any idea where can i find her?"
"Its like 9pm plus yet i cant seem to find her anywhere"
"Cant her through her phone too"
"Im worried for her"

"Ms Jessica is always like this"
"We've got problem contacting her too"
"Probably you can try places that are meaningful to the both of you?"
"She might be there"

"I've tried all"
"But.."
"Hey wait, i think i got it"
"Thanks"

*END OF PHONE CALL*

Flashback;

"Is there any other place you wanna go next..?"

"Yup there is"

"Where?"

"Here pabo" giggled Jessica
"I wanna watch the sunrise with you before you go Yul"
"I've yet to do any romantic stuff with you&you're leaving.." said Jessica with a tint bit of sadness in her voice

"Awww~"
"Come on, there'll be more to come"
"We'll watch our first today okay?" cooed Yuri as they settled themselves at a nice spot where they can spot the sunrise clearly when it rises.

Sitting down, with each others' accompany,
the night felt exceptionally calm&safe.

"Sica-ah.."
"I think we should have done all these earlier.."
"I love the feeling here.."

"Same.."
"Me too"
"I've always wanted to do something like this with you.."
"Now that i've done it, we'll do more when you come back alright?" asked Jessica as she lean her head onto Yuri's shoulder

"Of course"
"You'll wait for me right?" said Yuri as she put her arm over Jessica's shoulder

"I'll wait for you"
"Of course.."
"There's no one else for me except for you, Yul"

"You're the only one for me too" winked Yuri

While they were enjoying the night sea breeze waiting for the sunrise,
Jessica started singing.
Her voice was so sweet, melodious&angelic.

The two sat there in silence for the whole night,
enjoying each others' accompany in silence.
Words were no longer needed for each other,
its the presence that they need.
This presence they'll be longing for when Yuri leave for the states with Nickhun.

While they sat there for hours, Jessica slowly dozed off,
leaving Yuri sitting there awake.
Yuri was smiling at the sleepy Jessica on her lap,
caressing her chubby cheeks.

Yuri's POV

Sica-ah..
I really cant bear to leave you..
But since you asked me to take care of Nickhun cause he saved you..
I'll go..
But its all for your sake..

Please stay healthy for me okay..?
I'll be back real soon, wait for me.

Sitting there for hours, the sun had finally started to show itself.
Its slowly rising in the east side.

"Sica.."
"Wake up, look the sun is rising" said Yuri as she slightly nudged Jessica

"Hmm?"
"The sun is rising?" replied Jessica as she sat up rubbing her eyes

"Look!" exclaimed Yuri pointing at the rising sun

"Its so beautiful.." commented Jessica as she stared at the sunrise

Jessica couldnt take her eyes off the beautiful view of the sunrise but was interupted by Yuri.

"Yah Sica"
"We should take a picture now"
"You know to keep it as a memorial item" said Yuri as she took the polaroid camera out.

Within seconds, they took photos using the polaroid camera&was already waiting for the pictures to slowly develop.

"One for you"
"One for me" smirked Yuri contented as she passed one of the photo to Jessica
"Dont lose it, if you do, you're gonna die!"

"Hahas, araesso araesso"
"I wont, lets head back home now to get your luggage"
"I'll have breakfast with you at the airport before you take off okay?" said Jessica as she stood up

"Geez"
"Your hands are freezing Sica!" exclaimed Yuri who held onto Jessica's hands

"Ani, its okay"
"Its just my hands" smiled Jessica
"Lets go now"

Thats right!
The beach, pabo ah Yuri!
How could you not have thought of that!

Rushing to the beach all the way after realising that she had actually left the beach out.
Fortunately, Yuri finally found Jessica sitting alone by the beach, letting the cold breeze hit her.
Walking nearer to Jessica, Yuri felt her heart ache little by little as the number of steps she took increased.

Yuri's POV

Maybe i shouldnt have ignored all calls..
Maybe i shouldnt have planned this surprise..
Wait..
Its not maybe, it is the fact.
I shouldnt have planned all these so-called surprise.
Its like killing Sica inside out.
Im too mean, i didnt spare a thought for her.

How could i call myself her girlfriend?!

Feeling the presence of someone beside her, Jessica looked up with her pale face.
Her lips had even turned purple after sitting there for such a long time.

"Yuri..?"

"Sica-ah!" exclaimed Yuri with tears in her eyes
"Pabo-ah!"
"How, how could you stay here all by yourself?!"
"You're burning up so badly!" exclaimed Yuri as she hugged onto Jessica tightly

Jessica's POV

Am i dreaming..?
Or hallucinating because my fever has gotten too high..?
But i really miss this moment now..

"Sica..?" called Yuri after sensing that something was wrong.

After talking to Jessica, she didnt even buldge or respond.
She just sat there emotionless, looking at Yuri.

"Yu..ri..?"

"Yes, its me Sica-ah"
"What happened to you?!"
"Is it because you're burning up?" asked Yuri worriedly
"You're boiling yet your lips are purple because of the coldness here"
"Go home with me now"

"Yuri..?" called Jessica again, this time round with tears flowing out of it.
"I missed.. you.."
"Dont.. leave.. me..ever.. again.." was all Jessica managed before sinking into darkness, falling into Yuri's embrace.

"Sica?!"
"Sica-ah?!" called Yuri worriedly, brushing Jessica's hair away from her.
"Aish!" mumbled Yuri as she swiftly got Jessica onto her back, hailed a cab&brought her back home.

On the cab, Jessica was getting really delirious.

"Yuri-ah.."
"Cheongmal saranghae.."
"Dont leave me.."
"Dont ignore me, i know im annoying.."
"And troublesome.." cried Jessica unconsciously

"Bianeh Sica-ah"
"I shouldnt have planned this surprise"
"It turned out as a tragedy instead of a surprise"
"Bianeh, Sica-ah" apologised Yuri worriedly even though she knew Jessica couldnt hear her.

"Appa.."
"Cheongmal chosonghamida"
"Dont scold me, i'll go&work now.."
"Dont.. Im sorry.." cried Jessica in between sobs

Yuri's POV

Sigh..
It seems like you've yet taken your dad out of your nightmare..
Sica-ah, it hurts me seeing you like this..

"Sica.."
"Hushhush.."
"Bianeh.." hushed Yuri caringly as she brushed off Jessica's fringe.

Within 45 minutes, the cab had arrived at Jessica's mansion.
Opening the cab door was butler lee.

"Omona"
"What happened Ms Yuri?"

"I'll explain later" said Yuri as she piggyback-ed Jessica back up to her room&laid her down nicely on bed.

"Butler lee"
"How long has she been running this fever?"
"Has she been taking the medicine given?" asked Yuri as she put on her stethescope, listening to Jessica's heartbeat.

"She's been running a fever for a week plus already"
"It doesnt really go down, its like a roller coaster going up&down"
"Yup, i saw her taking her medicine&the doctors came gave her an intravenous theraphy but i dont know why it didnt help either" shrugged butler lee

Putting the thermometer into her ear while beads of perspiration were dripping down her forehead.

*Beep beep*

"42 degrees..?!"
"How is it possible?!"
"How could it get so high?!" exclaimed Yuri in disbelief looking at the thermometer's reading
"Is this thermometer spoilt?"
"I'll go get an oral thermometer" muttered Yuri as she exited the room swiftly&returned with with one oral thermometer

Butler Lee's POV

Sigh..
Dont Ms Yuri know that this all happened because Ms Jessica's missing her too much?
And she's bottling everything up to herself, not telling everyone at all.
Of course she'll fall sick..

End of Butler Lee's POV

Slightly, gently opening Jessica's mouth, putting the thermometer under her tongue.
The readings on the thermometer jumped rapidly&eventually stopped at the reading of 41.9 degrees celcius which earned a sigh from Yuri.

Unable to deny the fact, Yuri walked out of the room with a depressed look&came back with the medical supplies in her hands.
Setting everything up, the intravenous theraphy, vitals monitor system incase anything is wrong with Jessica's heart.

After getting everything done, Yuri went to the kitchen&came back up with a bowl of ice water&towel.
Twisting&placing the ice cold towel on Jessica's forehead, Yuri sat there, staring at the weak fragile girl apologetically.
Soon, Yuri fell asleep beside Jessica's bed, with her hands holding onto Jessica's.

The night left while morning came.
Sunrays were shinning through the room's curtains, into Jessica's room.
Stirring from her sleep was Jessica, slowly waking up from her deep slumber.
Looking around the familiar room, Jessica was a little puzzled on how she got back home.
While her head was pounding really badly, her body was also aching badly.
Turning her head to the other side of the room, she saw a familiar looking figure sitting beside her bed,
with her head on Jessica's bed.

"Yu..ri..?" called Jessica weakly
"Is that.. you..?"

"Hmm..?"
"SICA?!" exclaimed Yuri
"You're awake?!"

"Is that really.. you..?" asked Jessica with her hands reached out to Yuri's face.

"Its me, Sica-ah.." replied Yuri holding onto Jessica's hands
"Whats wrong?"
"Why didnt you take care of yourself?"

"Yu..ri..?"
"Am i.. dreaming..? asked Jessica with tears in her eyes

"Sica-ah" called Yuri, cupping Jessica's face in her hands
"Its really me"
"I came back for you, i wanted to surprise you.."
"Thats why i didnt return or answer your call.."
"Bianeh Sica-ah.."
"Bianeh.." apologised Yuri as she hugged onto Jessica tightly

"Yu..ri..-ah.."
"Dont.. dont.."
"Ignore my calls.. or my text.."
"I was so scared.."
"So afraid.. that.. you'll.. leave me.." cried Jessica bitterly as she hugged onto Yuri tightly not wanting to let her go.

"Bianeh Sica-ah.."
"Cheongmal bianeh.." apologised Yuri as she broke the hug
"How're you feeling now?" asked Yuri as she felt for Jessica's forehead
"You're still boiling..." sighed Yuri
"Its all my fault.."

"Dont.. Yul.."
"Its not, dont.. blame yourself.." said Jessica softly
"Im fine.. really.. as long.. as you're.. here.."

"You call this fine?"
"Sica-ah, you fainted when i found you at the beach!"
"You were like so cold, your lips even turned purple!"
"Its all my fault.."
"I shouldnt have.. planned this surprise.."
"Im sorry.. Sica.."

"Im.. really.. fine.."
"Im just.. tired.."

"Sica-ah, this is really not fine"
"Look, how weak you are now"
"Forget it, i'll get you something to eat"
"Wait for me here, butler lee said that you havent been eating well these few days" said Yuri as she left the room.

Entering the kitchen, butler lee&Mr Jung was there having their breakfast.

"Ah, Yuri, you're back"
"How's Sica?"
"I heard from butler lee you got her home last night"
"She's been sick for a week plus now" said Mr Jung

"Yeah i know"
"Im sorry, to be the cause of it"
"I thought i wanted to surprise Sica"
"I didnt know she would.." sighed Yuri

"Its okay"
"As long as you're back now"
"I thought if she's going to continue like that, i might be locking her up in the room with the doctor&nurses" joked Mr Jung a little
"Get some porridge for her then Yuri"
"Sooyeon's been eating rather little lately" smiled Mr Jung

"Araesso" replied Yuri with a bow

Minutes later, Yuri got back up to the room with a tray of porridge&medicine in her hands.
Placing her tray down, she sighed a little.

"Pabo-ah.."
"Told you to wait for me.."
"Are you that tired?" mumbled Yuri as she took Jessica's temperature.

*Beep Beep*

"39.8degrees.." sighed Yuri
"Feel better ah Sica.."
"Dont fall sick anymore.."

A week later, Jessica had finally recovered, happily with Yuri by her side.
Jessica finally gained back a little of her weight ever since Yuri came back.
One day, at a restaurant where Yuri had reserved a room for the both of them to dine quietly,
Yuri's phone rang.

*PHONE CALL*

"Yoboseyo"

"Its me"

"Oppa?"

"Yeah.."
"Im just calling you that im getting engaged"
"You're invited together with Jessica"

"Engaged?!"
"Why so sudden?"
"Have you even recovered?!"

"Im recuperating at home now"
"Just got back to Korea yesterday after receiving the news of me getting engaged"
"My parents just decide things on their own.."

"Why didnt you say no?"

"I thought there was nothing much for me to say"
"Since i've already lost you.."

"Bianeh"

"Nevermind, i know its not your fault"
"Hope to see you on my engagement&wedding ceremony"
"Bye"

*END OF PHONE CALL*

"Is it Nickhun?"

"Yeah.."
"He's getting engaged.."

"All of the sudden?"

"Yup, his parents, you see.."

"Are you sad?"

"Of course not"
"Probably sad for him, his life"
"But definitely not sad because he's getting engaged"

"Oh.."

"Dont talk about this Sica"
"Eat more, you need more nutritions" smiled Yuri
