The next morning when Jessica woke up from her deep slumber,
she walked out of her room realizing that everywhere was so quiet.

"Butler lee?" called Jessica from the second level

"Yes Ms Jessica?"

"Erm, where's everyone?"
"Why is it so quiet here?"
*coughs*

"Oh, Mr Jung went out for the reporters interview to settle things"
"While Ms Yuri went out early in the morning just now to grab your medicine"
"So she's back in bed now" replied butler lee

*sniffs*
"Oh, then im not going to disturb her"
"Well, whats for breakfast?" asked Jessica as she walked down the stairs

"Err, Ms Yuri said to cook you porridge for breakfast"
"So there's your favourite shark fin porridge"

"You know, butler lee"
"Porridge is never my favourite"
*coughs*
"Cook me pancakes, i wont tell Yuri" pouted Jessica cutely
"Please?"

"Err.."
"I.."
"Err.."

"This is an order!"
"I want pancakes!"
"PANCAKEESSS~" whined Jessica loudly
*coughs*

"Agashimida"
"I'll go get it done" bowed buter lee

"Okay, i'll go&wash up"
"Be down in 10 minutes" said Jessica happily
*sniffs*

10 minutes later

"Butler lee"
*coughs*
"Are my pancakes ready?" asked Jessica as she skipped down the stairs

"Yup its all ready Ms Jessica"
"You can start eating now"

"Thanks!" smiled Jessica happily as she sat down onto the seat
*sniffs*

Few minutes later, Yuri came yawning down the stairs.
Walking to the dinning hall, Yuri sat down beside Jessica half awakedly.

"Morning Yul" greeted Jessica happily with full of food

"Mmmm.."
"Whats that smell.."
"Smells nice.."
"WAIT!"
"What are you eating?!" exclaimed Yuri as she forced open Jessica's mouth
"YAH!" shouted Yuri as she let go of Jessica's mouth

*coughs*
"What?" asked Jessica, acting all innocent.

"You were supposed to have your sharkfin porridge instead of your all-time favourites"
"PANCAKE" said Yuri with a 'duh' face while pointing at Jessica's plate

*sniffs*
"Oh really?" replied Jessica innocently
"Well, its made so i'll just eat it"

"Come on Sica"
"We all know you"
"Dont lie" said Yuri suspiciously as she walked over to kitchen to confirm what she was doubting
"LOOK!"
"Its the sharkfin porridge"
"Sica, how expensive sharkfins are"
"Cooked specially for you in porridge&you dont want it?"
"Plus, look you're coughing, pancakes arent good for your throat!" said Yuri as she came out of the kitchen with a bowl of sharkfin porridge

"Well. i cant waste the food now"
*coughs*
"Its been cooked" argued Jessica
"You cant possibly ask me to throw away this cooked pancakes"
"Besides, its just a few slices of pancakes"

"Im not asking you to throw it away"
"Lets have a switch then" said Yuri as she switched the bowl of porridge with Jessica's plate of pancakes

"Its unfair!" pouted Jessica with crossed arms

"Well, life's never fair"
"So just live with what you have" smirked Yuri as she put a piece of pancake into

"You're such a bully Yul"
"I hate you!" whined Jessica
*coughs*

"Really?"
"You hate me?"
"Thats too bad" teased Yuri

"Fine, im not eating!"
"Im going to find appa!" said Jessica as she left the dinning hall

"That girl..." sighed Yuri as she finished up her breakfast

Lobby of SM sports building

"Anyeonghaeseyo everybody"
"Im the CEO of SM sports"
"Im here to clear up all misunderstandings everyone had with us previously"
"Well, our company is definitely, i repeat, defnitely not on the verge of falling"
"It was the Lee Holding's doings"
"They wanted to bring us down, but after investigating this, i've found out that they were all behind this"
"I've already contacted the police&they are currently investigating to the information i've provided"
"Im sure not long after this, everything will come to an end"
"So meanwhile, please believe us" announced Mr Jung to all the reporters who were there

"Mr Jung" called one of the reporters with his hands raised

"Yes?"

"Are you sure its the Lee Holdings?"
"Did you try keeping anything from the media?"
"Like in order to save your stocks from dropping?"

"Of course not"
"If you dont believe me, watch the news for the next few days"
"im confident of what i said" replied Mr Jung
"And if you could excuse me, i'll like to leave now" said Mr Jung as he stood up&went to the lift

"Appa appa!" shouted Jessica who was running from the entrance to the lift

"Sooyeon?"
"Why are you here?" asked Mr Jung confused while staring at the girl who was busy gasping for air

"I.."
*coughs*

"Slowly.." said Mr Jung as he patted Jessica's back
"Who asked you to run, look at you now"

"Ani" replied Jessica after she managed to regain her composure
"Appa, please go&have Mcdonald breakfast with me"
"Yuri confiscated my pancakes!"
*coughs*
"If you need to work, i'll work with you later"
"I'll help you out, im the vice CEO afterall" smiled Jessica sweetly

"Mcdonalds breakfast?" replied Mr Jung with a 'huh?' look

"Yup"
*sniffs*
"I dont want any porridge"
"I just want pancakes"
"Yuri's in the house, no one listens to me" pouted Jessica

"Well, you're sick"
"Arent you?" asked Mr Jung
"You should be resting in bed"

"Well, im all well now!"
*coughs*

"All well?"
"What did i hear?"

"Not you too appa" grumbled Jessica
*sniffs*
"Fine, no one wants to give me pancakes, im going to have them myself!" said Jessica as she turned to leave

"Araesso araesso"
"Sooyeon, i'll accompany you to have it"
"But promise me, go home after this okay?" said Mr Jung

"But i wanna help you later"
"Im the vice CEO"
*coughs*

"Well, no"
"You're fired, no longer the vice CEO" smirked Mr Jung

At the nearby Mcdonalds

"Here's your pancakes" said Mr Jung as he placed the tray of pancakes infront of Jessica

"Mmmm"
"Pancakes!" cheered Jessica happily as she started eating her pancakes

"Well, isnt it surprising that someone's sick with that big appetite?" teased Mr Jung while he eats his big breakfast

"Told you i arent sick!" complained Jessica with filled with pancakes

Then, Mr Jung took out his phone&started tapping on it.

Around 30 minutes later, Yuri came into the Mcdonalds where Jessica&Mr Jung was at.

"Oh, Yuri you're here"
"Bring her back home&rest"
"Thanks a lot" said Mr Jung as he stood up
"I got to go"

"Appa!"
*Coughs*
"How can you do this to me?!" complained Jessica

"How can he not?"
"He changed, cared about you!"
"Worried about you thats why im here!" explained Yuri
"Come on, lets go"
"You had already finished your favourite pancakes" added Yuri

"Awww"
"Life " grumbled Jessica as she got dragged out of Mcdonalds&into the car by Yuri

"Well, i can make it even ier" challenged Yuri
"I dont understand how can you be so playful when you're sick"
"Its like so unbelieveable!" exasperated Yuri

"Thats because im used to it"
"Plus this is just something light as appetiser" said Jessica nonchalently
"When it comes to real sick, when i dont talk at all"
"You gotta worry about it then" said Jessica with her tongue stucked out

"Yeah yeah"
"Appetiser"
"Sleep for awhile now"
"I'll wake you up when we reach" said Yuri as she motioned Jessica to lie on her lap

"No, dont wake me up" yawned Jessica
"Just piggback me"
"Please?" pleaded Jessica

"I'll think about it" smirked Yuri

Minutes later, Jessica actually really fell asleep.
It was so fast, which is the only point that proves Yuri the fact that Jessica's sick.
Thats why she was tired.


Later that day, in the early evening, Jessica woke up from her deep slumber.
Finding herself in her comfy bed, grinning to herself but then to find a wet cloth on her forehead.

Jessica's POV

So sweet of Yul!
She really piggybacked me back up!
But ops, am i having a fever again?

End of Jessica's POV

"Uh-oh" mumbled Jessica as she crept out of bed&out of the room

Standing at the 2nd level near the stairs, Jessica could get a good full view of the living room&the kitchen.
Maids were walking in&out, cleaning here&there while butler lee was supervising them.
Just as Jessica was about to go down to the first level to look for Yuri, someone entered the mansion.

It was Nickhun.

"Anyeonghaeseyo"
"Im here to look for Yuri" said Nickhun politely to butler lee

"Oh, you're the doctor right?"
"Yup, sure i'll go get Ms Yuri" said butler lee as he turned away

"There's no need for it"
"Im here" said Yuri as she entered the living room while her hands removing the apron thats on her
"What do you want somemore oppa?"
"I've already made it really clear with you yesterday"

"I know Yuri"
"But just listen to me"
"I know i was wrong"
"I ruined our friendship"
"But can we be back as friends like before?"
"I promise i wont break you&Jessica up" pleaded Nickhun as he held onto Yuri's hand

"Hands off!" snapped Yuri as she swung Nickhun's hand away
"I dont want anything to do with you"
"And mind you, Sica's resting upstairs"
"I dont want to wake up her up&let her mistaken anything here!" scolded Yuri impatiently
"If thats all you wanna say, i've heard it just leave"

"Please Yuri"
"Just listen to me" begged Nickhun on the verge of tears
"I cant afford to lose you!" exasperated Nickhun as he suddenly pushed Yuri to a corner&kissed her.

"YAH!" shouted Yuri angrily as she pushed Nickhun away
"Who do you think you are?!"

"Yuri, cant you just stay with me?"
"Im diagnosed with brain tumor"
"Cant you just accompany me?"
"I might die" confessed Nickhun sadly with hunched back

"What?!"
"You must be kidding me" mocked Yuri sacarstically

"Im not, you wanna see my medical report?" asked Nickhun as he took out an A4 envelope

Jessica who was watching all awhile, was so shocked&sad to see what had happened.
So instead, she just walked back to her room sadly with a depressed backview.

Yuri's side

"So?"
"Believe me now?" asked Nickhun as he looked at Yuri who was fiddling with the medical report

"Then go for the surgery" snapped Yuri impatiently
"Dont expect me to pity you"

"Can you do the surgery for me?"
"What if i couldnt come out of the surgery theatre alive?"
"If not, cant you at least accompany me?" half-begged Nickhun

"Obviously no"
"There are so many other outstanding doctors who could do it for you"
"Plus, from the looks of it"
"The surgery can easily be completed" said Yuri who was looking at the sheet of X-ray

"Looks like im really of no one to you.."
"Nevermind, i'll just let it grow&die with it" said Nickhun as he started to walk away

"You were the one who turned things this way"
"If the incident that happened few days ago didnt happen"
"Things wouldnt turn out this way"
"I might help you out, but now im sorry"
"I dont want Sica to mistaken me for something else"

"Forget it"
"Im not longer important i get it" said Nickhun sadly as he left the mansion

Yuri's POV

What do you want me to do Nickhun?
I have a feeling that you're lying to me.
I love Sica so much, how can you expect me to choose you over Sica?

Sica's my everything.
I really want to let you know that you were once important to me.
But not now, im sorry.

Still, i wish you a speedy recovery if its real.
From the bottom of my heart.

*Sorry for the delay of updating this chapter.
I fell sick, i caught a cold thats why couldnt update.
Was really tired&caught up with school&homework.
I'll update the other fanfic now.
