It really is never easy being the new girl in school… But what if before you started at your new school, you completely turned your look/life around for the better? And what if on your first day you actually made friends and got to sit with people at the lunch table?? Oh Hyun Ok is a family-oriented sixteen-year-old girl who moves from port city Busan, her birthplace, to capital and gigantic city Seoul. She trades in her old life—her friendless, dirty, bullied life—for amazing new friends, a beautiful, and accepted new life when she attends the classy Hanlim Arts High School.

She pulls together a list of everything she wants to do with her new life here in the bustling capital city and sets her sights to do everything on the list before a year passes. While she aims to cross everything off of her list, she still takes care of her younger brother Kang Dae and her youngest sibling, Eun Mi. Her father does their family proud by going back to a technical college to learn how to work computers; with the new degree he’s sure to get, the family will be able to afford to live a life they otherwise couldn’t have on their father’s old fisherman’s salary.

But what happens when she meets an idol at her school? What happens when that idol is actually in the same group as her childhood best friend—who she later meets up with? Hyun Ok has always been a big fan of C.N. Blue, but after befriending this kindhearted, polite boy… will she change from a Boice to a Baby?

And… what’s going to happen to her when she starts getting attached to this teen idol? If she knows that she shouldn’t be more than friends with him because he’s so far out of her league… why is this confidence of a new, improved Hyun Ok stopping her from stopping herself?

And how’s Jong Up going to deal with himself when he starts to realize that he couldn’t stand it if she wasn’t at his side, even though she really can’t be?
