When the skies and the grounds were one of legends, through their twelve forces, nurtured the tree of life.

An eye of red force created the evil which covered the heart of the tree of life and the heart slowly grew dry.

To attempt to keep alive the heart of the tree of life the legends hereby divided the tree in half and hid each side, hence times is overturned and space turns obscure.

The twelve forces divided into two and created two suns that look alike into two worlds that seem alike. The legends traveled apart.

The legends shall now see the same sky but must stand on different grounds. They shall stand on the same ground but shall see different skies.

The day the grounds be kept a single file before one sky in two words that seem alike, the legends will meet greet each other.

The day the red forces purify and the twelve forces will reunite into one perfect root… a new world shall open up.

 

That’s what the prophecy said, Suho had read it to them countless times when they felt like the time to find their other halves would never come but it meant nothing.

How much time would things continue like they were? The world seemed to be getting worse every day; with violence, hypocrisy, hunger, evil, treason, greed… and all of the seven sins.

Particularly today, Sehun felt utterly frustrated as he sat on the desert. He loved the desert; it didn’t have any of those humans who only caused their own destruction again and again. He isn’t as young as he looks, none of them are… Sehun as well as the others has been here since the beginning of times just watching, waiting… they couldn’t destroy evil with their current capabilities, they had tried.

A butterfly approached him and he faintly smiled, reaching his arm out to it, the butterfly gently laid on his finger and he watched it. He didn’t need anything, not fame or money, he only wanted to save the innocent creatures of that world but every year it got worse and he still lacked the power to protect them.

He frowned, feeling anger well up inside of him. He couldn’t bear it, he couldn’t watch anymore of it, the red forces were becoming stronger with time and corrupting more humans and he was just as useless as he was in the beginning!

He didn’t even notice it until the butterfly flew away but he had created a tornado, gathering all of the sand of the lonely desert. Just then, Kai appeared.

His hair was black and messy as always as he appeared suddenly in a cloud of smoke.

“Whoa there, calm down Sehun” he told him, seeing all of the sand flying around. Sehun was known among EXO-K for losing his temper and unleashing his powers, but not to that extent…

Kai teleported even closer to Sehun and put an arm on his shoulder before speaking.

“I know how you feel” he said, looking serious for a change. His eyes looked even darker in the bright dessert. “But I’ve got good news, it seems like something happened. Suho is calling us.”

Sehun’s eyes widened maybe the time was coming…? He didn’t want to raise his hopes and end up with nothing.

“I’ll be there” he said simply, brushing his brunette hair out of his eyes and ending the tornado with a clear motion, making all of the sand go down with a loud thump.

Kai smirked. “I’ll go get the others” he said and disappeared on his usual smoke without any kind of goodbye, but this was Kai. Always busy, always in a hurry… it didn’t make sense to Sehun, because he didn’t need to waste any time moving from one place to another but even like that, time never seemed to suffice Kai.

Sehun began the long march back to their head quarters.

Kai was immediately at Chanyeol’s side and he didn’t seem surprised at all as he greeted his dongsaeng with a big smile.

“Hi, Kai” he said, waving even though he was just like seven feet apart.

Kai smirked; Chanyeol was so childish for someone his age. He looked like he was nineteen alright but he was older than Adam and Eve. He teleported closer.

“Hyung, Suho’s calling us” he said, pointing in the general direction of their head quarters.

“Ah! I knew something was up” he said with his big smile still on and Kai raised his eyebrows, in question “Well, you see… my powers seem to be somehow getting stronger” he said hesitantly, like he didn’t really know how to explain what he meant.

“Why do you say that?”

“Ah… look behind us” said Chanyeol pointing at his back with his thumb, when Kai looked he couldn’t hide his surprise. Chanyeol had left fire footprints all over the street he walked. “I even had to be careful, you know… avoid stepping on grass or wood.”

“You need to control it and get back to Suho in the head quarters. He might be able to explain this” said Kai turning the other way. “I’ll gather the others. Don’t burn anything.”

Fortunately for Kai, Baekhyun was already with Suho, so that left only D.O.

He appeared behind D.O. and the latter one didn’t even notice. He was stomping on the floor, making big craters, he was probably practicing as he always was; he was different from him who had always had full control of his powers. D.O. always needed hard practice to keep from tearing everything apart, as his power was the ground and the ground withstood everything.

“Hyung” he called him and D.O. turned around, his eyes were fierce when he was using his powers but they turned instantly soft at the sight of his dongsaeng.

“Kai” he said smiling as he stepped out of the crater he had just created to go and meet him but Kai was faster as he teleported to his side instantly. “Do you need me for something…?” he asked, confused by his sudden visit.

D.O. liked Kai, but Kai always seemed to keep away from everybody most of the time, he was a mystery even for them who had known him for more years than any human could have ever lived.

“Suho needs us. It seems to be important.” Said Kai, again pointing in the direction of the head quarters. “So be there”

“Of course” said D.O. “I’ll just finish my training.” He said and then made a brief pause. “Listen, Kai, I don’t know if this is associated in any way with what Suho has to say but the earth… Kai the earth is moving.”

“Yeah, I know hyung, it’s always moving…”

“Listen to me! It’s getting closer… to M, EXO-M. I don’t know how but I can feel it” said D.O. and he seemed freaked out by the thought, almost scared about the fact that the time was near.

Kai wouldn’t admit it but he also gulped at the thought. Their counterparts, how strong were they? Would it be enough to defeat the red forces? Or would they die in the attempt?

He didn’t know, he could only hope that Suho had the answers they were all looking for.
