It was lunchtime. You and the twins were heading to the cafeteria.

L. Joe came over, “Hey.”

Your eyes rounded in surprise, “Hi.”

The twins swooned at his presence. “You’re still at school?” You were amazed. L. Joe grinned and winked, “Now that I can be with you publicly, there’s a reason I should stay. Let’s go.”

“But-“ You glanced at your friends. “I can take her, right?” L. Joe looked at them in a non-menacing way. They eagerly nodded, “Go ahead!” He pulled you away.

You glanced back at the twins who happily waved and mouthed ‘Call us!’” You nodded.

L. Joe took you into the cafeteria. It stopped buzzing with conversations and everyone stared at him as he passed by. They had never seen L. Joe eat at the cafeteria before. L. Joe ignored the gazes and grabbed a tray. He pulled you in front of him, “Choose.”

You looked at him, “What about you?”

L. Joe shook his head, “You know I only eat your cooking.” He led you down the row of foods, “What does my girlfriend like? You like galanmalee and oo! Seaweed and anchovy and soup-“ He wrapped his hand around yours and scooped everything you liked onto the plate.

L. Joe carried the tray in one hand and took your hand with his other. The two of you sat next to each other at a table in the far corner. Students kept staring and you wouldn’t eat. L. Joe glared at them with his blazing eyes, “Lower your eyes!” They instantly looked away and pretended to be doing something else. You started to eat, “Are you sure you don’t want some?” L. Joe smiled and shook his head.

Suddenly, 3 shadows fell over you. You stopped eating and looked up *Uh-oh.* The queenkas were deadly glaring at you. If they hated you before, they wanted to kill you now.

“Oppa, are you seriously dating this nerd?” L. Joe ignored them, “Go ahead and eat.”

“Oppa, she’s not right for you!” Iseul whined. He put galanmalee on your spoon, “Eat this, too.” You glanced between him and the girls. “Eat.” L. Joe encouraged. You slowly put the food in your mouth.

“L. Joe, are you listening?!” Jieun slammed her hand on the table. The galanmalee landed on your lap. “YAH!” L. Joe recklessly shoved the tray off the table and stood up with fury.

The girls recoiled in alarm. The cafeteria stopped talking and once again, you and L. Joe were the center of attention.

“Byunghyun.” You whispered and tugged on his sleeve.

“Aish.” He wiped the galanmalee off your skirt.

“Why out of all the girls her? What’s so good about ~~~~?” Yeji asked.

L. Joe straightened up and looked darkly at her, “You really wanna know why?” They nodded.

“Because she’s the first girl – screw that, the first person – to treat me as Lee Byunghyun and not L. Joe.” He growled.

You looked up at him and softened.

The girls were taken aback by his deep impression.

“B-but I love you, too!” Jieun whimpered. She fell onto the floor crying, “I could treat you as Lee Byunghyun, too, if you want!”

L. Joe rolled his eyes *Not again.*

Jieun threw a worse tantrum than him.

“Come on, ~~~~.” L. Joe took your hand and led you away. *But…* You glanced back at Jieun who was still crying.
