"Swinging is fun!"

"I agree! I always like to swing on the swings!"

"But it's funner when someone else is with you."

"...Yeah, I guess."

"Oh, Myungsoo. I think someone just called out your name."

"That was Mommy. I think I have to go home."

"Now?"

"Don't worry, Suzy! I'll be back soon!"

And Myungsoo returned to the playground the next day, looking for his new friend.

"Whoa. Nice room."

"I know, right?"

"And your house is super big! Are you guys rich?"

"Haha, no."

"Oh. So why'd you take me here?"

"I wanted to show you some of my writing."

"You write, Myungsoo?"

"Yeah. Stories and songs."

"Cool. Can I hear one of your songs?"

"I don't see why not."

And Myungsoo set his hands on his guitar, singing to the girl he was crushing on for months now.

"Today's my last day."

"Last day? What do you mean?"

"I'm going to America for a while. California, to be exact."

"You are?" 

"Yeah, I'm leaving tomorrow. I don't know when I'll be back."

"But Myungsoo, you can't leave. Not now. What about our friendship? How can we contact each other?"

"I don't know yet. Maybe you could call me on my cell phone?"

"I guess I could. But I'll still miss seeing you in person though."

"Don't worry, Suzy. I'll be back soon. But for now, I wanna try something."

And Myungsoo placed his lips on hers, making the last moment they thought they would ever have again last.

"So Myungsoo, how was the first week?"

"Amazing! America - or should I say, California is beautiful!"

"I'm sure it is."

"And guess what, Suzy? I'm already starting to write a new song."

"Really? What's it called?"

"Brielle."

"Brielle? Weird title."

"Well, it's an American name. For females, by the way."

"Whatever. Can I hear what you have so far?"

"Uhm - oh wait, I can't. Mom's calling me for dinner. How about I share it to you tomorrow?"

"Uh, sure. Tomorrow."

"Your voice sounds so sad, Suzy. Remember, I'll be back soon."

And Myungsoo hung up his cell phone, leaving Suzy waiting until the day he comes back again.

"You're new here, right?"

"...Yeah, I guess."

"Hmm. Well, you look familar."

"I do?"

"Yeah. But I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. Anyway, my name's Suzy. Bae Suzy."

"Kim Myungsoo."

"Welcome to our high school, Myungsoo! Say, what class do you have next?"

"Uhm...History with Ms. Song."

"Really? I have that class next too! Mind if I walk with you there?"

"Not at all."

And Myungsoo and Suzy walked to their classroom together, the past they had completely forgotten.

"I know, right?"

"And your house is huge! You people must be rich."

"Haha, no."

"Oh. So why'd you take me here?"

"I wanted to show you some of my writing."

"You write, Myungsoo?"

"Yeah. I used to write stories, but nowadays, I write songs."

"Cool. Hey, what's this one? 'Brielle'? Weird title."

"Oh, that one! That was one of my very first songs."

"Well, can I hear it?"

"I don't see why not."

And Myungsoo set his hands on his guitar, unaware that he was singing to the girl he wrote the song about.

"Hey, I remember this playground."

"You do?"

"Yeah. Remember that song I sang to you?"

"Yes."

"I wrote it about an old crush of mine. She used to meet me here every day, when I was young. We'd run around, ride down the slides, maybe go on the swings."

"Really? I did the exact same thing here when I was young, with a boy I would meet....every day...."

("I'm going to America for a while. California, to be exact.") 

"Hold on - "

("Yeah, I'm leaving tomorrow. I don't know when I'll be back.")

"You can't be - "

("I'll still miss seeing you in person though.")

"I think I am."

("Don't worry, Suzy. I'll be back soon.)

"You are."

"I am."

"You came back, Myungsoo. You came back."

And Myungsoo placed his lips on hers, finally realizing their love for each other.

"Why'd you take me to the park?"

"Why not? Besides, since it's snowing, it's the perfect day to show you my surprise."

"Surprise? What kind of scheme are you planning, Myungsoo?"

"Relax, Suzy. Beside, if I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise."

"Oh, all right."

"Now, just sit down on this bench."

"Ok then. Wait, Myungsoo, what are you - "

"Suzy, we've been together for a long time now."

"Myungsoo?"

And Myungsoo kneeled down on one knee and reached into his jacket pocket.

"Myungsoo, come over here. Meet our new baby girl."

"Oh, she's beautiful. And she looks just like her beautiful mother."

"She also has your big, brown eyes, Myungsoo."

"She does, doesn't she?"

"Myungsoo, she also needs a name. What should we name her?"

"Hmm....oh, what about Brielle?"

"Brielle! I love it!"

"Well then, welcome to our family, Brielle."

And Suzy gently placed their sleeping daughter into her new father's arms.

"Yes. I'm so sorry to leave at this time, but you know I have to. It's mandatory."

"It's just like you, telling me stuff at the last minute. But what about Brielle? She'll wonder why you're gone."

"I don't know yet. Suzy, promise that you'll take great care of her when I go. "

"Of course I will, Myungsoo. But I'll still miss seeing you in person though."

"Don't worry, Suzy. I'll be back soon."

And Myungsoo set his hands on his guitar, singing a farewell to his sleeping daughter and his loving wife.
