12- First Class to Break

The professor made you and Sehun stand up for the whole two hours because you guys were late. Thanks a lot Sehun, you groaned.

"Thanks a lot Jin Ae," he said at the same time. He looked down, and bent his knees a little, "I can't stand for a whole hour!" he whined quietly. Pretty good aegyo, you thought to yourself, then hit his legs playfully. Sehun shot you a mean glare, as you tried to look as innocent as possible.

The professor conjured a projection of a video about the history of the planet, and you suspected that no one was actually paying attention. In the back, you could see Chanyeol barely awake, with extremely messy bed hair. Hyunsin was probably snoring already.

"Jin Ae! Are you even listening?" the professor's voice shook you. You quickly nodded a yes and attempted to look like you were paying attention.

"If that's so, then tell me how this planet looks like," the professor asked you. Easy enough, you thought, I did see it when I came here on that spaceship.

"Well, it seems a bit smaller than Earth, though it's covered in dark purple crystals," you replied, then squeezed your hands.

"That is... actually correct," the professor couldn't believe that you got the answer correct, "Nice job, I guess." He continued his teaching. You looked at the clock almost falling asleep. Nine more minutes, you thought to yourself, Get on with it Mr. Professor!

You adjusted your position leaning on the wall, but tripped over one of your shoelaces. 

"YAH!" you yelled after falling on someone's desk and pushing it on the floor. By seconds, the whole classroom was filled you overturned desks! Oh no, you thought.

"Jin Ae! You are a walking disaster," the professor spat angrily, "If this happens again, I'll make sure you will go to one of the strictest reforms that we have ever made!" WIth that, he dismissed everyone.

"Are you okay?" Sehun put his arm around you, "It's break time. Let's go to the garden," he said softly. You kept on looking down and remembered all the times when you tripped over something. Why are you so freaking clumsy?! you shot at yourself.

"Is Jin Ae okay?" Lay came over after he saw you looking... quite depressed. You just nodded and sat there, "Hey, let's go get something to eat for you," Lay got up and offered his hand. You took it, and followed him to the cafeteria.

"It's break time, so eat up," Lay said, "Not too much; there's still lunch after this." He bought one sandwich and one burger. The sandwich was for you, and he claimed the burger, "Guess which type of sandwich I bought you," he laughed, and covered your eyes while feeding you the sandwich.

"Peanut butter jelly?" you asked, "No, it's... I give up." you laughed. Lay uncovered your eyes and showed you the sandwich.

"Nutella's the best thing ever, man," he bit into his burger, and handed you your Nutella sandwich, "How does that even taste like peanut butter jelly?" You shrugged, smiled sheepishly, and started chomping down your sandwich.

Lay looked at you, then slowly leaned closer. He reached for–

"YAH! Lay what are you doing?" you asked defensively. He stopped and looked at you, confused.

"Getting the ketchup, duh," he replied, "Don't want to use too much magic or else I'll be too drained out for Magical Attacks Class." 

"Oh, I thought..." you trailed off.

"That I was going to kiss you?" he snorted, "Puh-lease. We barely even know each other." He got the ketchup bottle, took the top bun off, and squirted a whole lot of ketchup in the burger, "This is really good."

"Woah, you like ketchup too?" you asked him, "Everyone thought that I was a psycho when I ate that much ketchup," you laughed. He nodded in agreement, and went off into a burger-with-so-much-ketchup trance. He's nice, you thought to yourself, And he's... pretty in a way. Lay got up and added, "We shoudl get back now." You got up and followed him back to the garden.

"Feeling better, Jin Ae?" Sehun asked, sitting on the grass, "I see you got a Nutella sandwich. Works every time!" He high-fived Lay, and asked, "Can I have some of that?" with puppy-dog eyes.

"Why don't you get your own?" you laughed at him. He groaned, "I'm too lazy, noona~" You rolled your eyes and gave him the sandwich. He took a huge bite from it and laughed.

"Aiya, your bites are so big!" you said to him, "I barely have any left!" Sehun muttered a, "Mianhae noona~" and gave you a cute smile. You forgave him instantly and looked at your watch.

"Time to go guys! Classes start in one minute," you yelled out, "And we definitely don't want to be late this time." Sehun laughed and put his arm around you.

"You're pretty cool," he admitted. 

"You too."
