Chapter 4

It was a sunny Saturday morning. You went out to help your mom decorate the garden. You saw Myungsoo reading a book at a bench.

*Aigoo. Myungsoo is such a bookworm*

You went to him as you sat down next to him. Myungsoo looked at you like this O_O.

“Aigoo! Look at this cutie boy.” You smiled at him.

Myungsoo’s heart went ba-bump.

*What the hell is happening to my heart again?! Aish!*

“Ca-can yo-you p-pl-please s-stop te-telling me that? I-I’m n-not adorable. I’m a nerd.” Myungsoo said as he pushed his glasses.

“What?! What are you thinking?! So what if you’re a nerd? Aigoo… you’re really adorable. I'm not lying!” You smiled at him and pinched his cheek.

*OH MY GOD. I CANNOT BREATHE. MY HEART IS GOING CRAZY. It is this girl’s fault!* Myungsoo thought.

“I-I n-need to g-go.” Myungsoo said as he walked away.

“He’s so cute while stuttering! Aigoo. That little kid is so adorable.” You said. Myungsoo heard you as he made a face which made you chuckle.

“For your information, I’m not a little kid! I’m already eighteen!” Myungsoo shouted. You giggled again.

*I thought he’s sixteen or something! He doesn’t look like eighteen because of his childish look. Wow. So does that mean… I can call him oppa? Kyaaa~*

“YA OPPA!” you ran after him. He didn’t turn back.

“Myungsoo oppa!” you shouted. He looked at you in disbelief. O_O

“Wh-what? Wha-what oppa? OPPA?! What are yo-you saying?” Myungsoo made a face. His heart went crazy again.

*Aish! Why does this happen everytime I’m around her?!* Myungsoo thought.

“Yup! I’m seventeen. You’re a year older than me. So… is it okay for me to call you that?” You asked.

“EH?!!! I-I’m no-not su-sure…” Myungsoo stuttered again.

“HAHAHAHAHA! WHY DO YOU KEEP ON STUTTERING? I FIND IT SO ADORABLE!” You burst out while laughing. Myungsoo automatically smiled. You noticed him smiling. It’s the first time you see him smile.

*Even though he’s not good looking, I really find him cute.*

Myungsoo’s heart went crazy. He couldn’t take it anymore so he ran away, leaving you dumbfounded. Your shoulders deflated.

"Aigoo. This nerd… tsk tsk tsk." You smiled.
