“Baby Hee~ Wake up now~” I heard oppa’s(older brother) sweet voice
“Come on now~ wake up~ Omma(mom) and Appa(dad) already went to work, 3 hours ago! Wake up now, sleepy head!” oppa’s(older brother) sweet voice made me jump off my bed
“What time is it?” I asked him, really alarmed
“11 am” he simply answered
“BWO(what)???!!!!! I need to get ready!!! Why didn’t you wake me up?” I asked while grabbing my towel and dashing inside the bathroom
“Yah! If it wasn’t me, you would still be in your dream land right now! Who told you I didn’t wake you up? And why are you I in a rush?” he asked me in a kinda annoyed tone
Is he mad?? I think he is! Well… it’s my fault, anyway! But I need to get ready for senior year! I mean for my classes!!!
Yes, I’m already in my senior year! Time flies by so fast! Can you believe it?? I’m in my 4th year in highschool and a candidate for Summa laude??? All thanks to this man who is outside my bathroom!!! Yes, my very handsome and intelligent brother! He’s actually in his senior year in college and also a candidate for Summa laude! I’m so proud to be his dongsaeng(younger sibling)!!!
I slightly opened the bathroom door and peaked saying: “Kumowo, oppa!(thank you, oppa) I’m need to get ready for school!!!” and with that I closed and locked the bathroom door
“Yah! Do you kn----“ he was supposed to lecture me but I cut him off
“I need to get ready, oppa(older brother)!!! Later~” I shouted as I turn the shower on

SungHee finished taking a bath in less than 5 minutes and changed her clothes in less than 3 minutes (A/N: wow! that was fast!)
SungHee quickly ran downstairs but stopped before going out the front door
“Oppa(older brother)!!! Can you please bring me to school?” SungHee asked him while he eyed her confusingly
He slowly went near her then laughed really really hard
“What are you laughing at?! I have no time for your jokes! Just bring me to school, ok?!” SungHee asked him with an irritated tone
But SungYe just continued to laugh which made SungHee to be more irritated
“What’s funny? Anyway, if you don’t want to bring me to school, then fine! I’ll go by myself!!!” SungHee stated angrily and was supposed to go out of the house when SungYe quickly pulled her and locked her into a tight embrace
SungYe’s POV

Is she serious? Or she’s just playing a prank on me? Seriously!!! Doesn’t she know that it’s SATURDAY today???!!!
But, just by looking at her, she really looks serious!!! Awww… my poor sister! She’s so determined to be their Summa laude, that she forgot to rest!
She was supposed to go out already when I pulled her and locked her into a very tight embrace
“I really pity you, my baby princess! I really do!” I told her with a smile of concern plastered on my face
“What are you talking about, oppa(older brother)?! Ohh… so are you going to take me to school now?” she asked innocently
Aww… how cute~ She really looks like omma(mom)!!!
“Dongsaeng(younger sibling)!!! Are you really that determine to be the Summa laude of your batch that you forgot that it’s Saturday today?” I asked while holding my laughter

Instead of answering her, I brought my phone out and opened it; I showed her the date and time today
“Ohhh…. Mianhae(sorry)” she stated as she looks down
I chuckled and replied: “It’s ok! At least I know how determined and passionate are you in your studies! And not to mention, how determined you are in being your batch’s Summa laude!”
She hugged me tighter and replied: “Kumowo(thank you), for the support, oppa(older brother)!!! If it’s not because of you, I won’t be this smart!”
“Alright!!! Let’s stop this ‘mushy cheesy’ conversation!” I exclaimed as I broke our hug
“Neh(yes)!!! Arraso(alright)!!!” she replied as she walks with me towards our living room

“Oppa(older brother)!!! What do you want for dinner?” SungHee asked as she walks toward the kitchen
“Anything~ As long as you cooked it!” SungYe replied with a smile
“Arraso(alright)~” SungHee answered as she opens one of their cabinets
“Oppa(older brother)!! We don’t have anything here! What will I cook if we don’t have anything or even just the ingredients?” SungHee asked as she opens the refrigerator
“Oh! I almost forgot! Omma(mom) told me that you’re responsible for the groceries since you’re the new cook of the house aside from her!” SungYe replied as he approaches the kitchen
“BWO(what)???!!! Anyway, did she leave any money?” SungHee asked
“Neh(yes)! Here!” SungYe replied as he hands her the money
“Oppa, kaja!(older brother, let’s go)” SungHee said as she runs to the front door
“Arraso, kaja!(alright, let’s go)” SungYe replied as he grabs his car keys and house keys
SungYe locked everything and went to the grocery store

“What do you want me to cook?” SungHee asked as she browses through the shelves
“Hmm… How ‘bout your speciality? But wait! You have many specialities!” SungYe answered
SungHee chuckled at his brother’s answer and replied: “How ‘bout your favorite, Beef and Seafood in hot pot?” SungHee asked
“Sure! That would be great!” SungYe answered as he pushes the cart
“Then I’ll make appa(dad) his favorite food! Hamburger! Then, I’ll make omma’s(mom’s) favorite, Samgyetang!” SungHee thought out loud
“That would be the best dinner ever!” SungYe stated as he rubs his tummy
“Yah! Stop day dreaming, oppa(older brother)!!! You’re embarrassing!” SungHee stated as she pulls SungYe
After some minutes of gathering the ingredients needed, SungYe and SungHee went to the cashier to pay
“It’s hot today, oppa(older oppa)!” SungHee stated as she grabbed her shirt and used it to fan herself (A/N: Message or comment if you don’t understand and I’ll explain it to you!)
“I know! It’s because I’m here!” SungYe confidently answered which made him earn a playful punch from SungHee
“You’re so full of yourself, oppa(older brother)!!! Being so proud is not a good sign!!!” SungHee answered as she rolls her eyes
SungYe chuckled and replied: “Arraso, omma(alright, mom)!!! Just buy ice cream there to cool you off! And not to mention, to also cool your mind! You’re kinda hot tempered right now! Kekeke” SungYe teased
“Whatever!!!” SungHee exclaimed and went to buy ice cream
“Is she your dongsaeng(younger sibling)?” the old woman in charge of the cashier asked
“Neh(yes)! She’s my only dongsaeng(younger sibling)!” SungYe replied as he looks at SungHee who’s busy buying ice cream
“You two are so cute! Maybe your parents are also cute?! But you know, she’s lucky to have an oppa(older brother) like you. Because in today’s generation, siblings usually fight instead of loving each other! Tsk tsk kids today!” the old woman stated
“Anio…(no) I am lucky to have her as my dongsaeng(younger sibling)!!! She’s one in a million!!! She unique in her own special way!” SungYe stated as he pays the bill
“Thank You for coming! I hope you’d forever be like that!” the old woman replied with a smile before entertaining the next customer
“Kumowo(thank you)!” SungYe simply thanked as he grabs the plastic bags

Suddenly I remembered SUNGHEE!!! Where is she by the way?
Oh! How could I forget that she’s buying ice cream?
I looked at the small store of ice cream outside the grocery story but didn’t find her!
I’m starting to feel nervous! I don’t want anything to happen to her! I mean if you still remember the incident that happened 8 years ago!!!
I need to find her! But how if she’s not the girl that these women are referring to? Where is she?!
“Uhmm… excuse me. Can you please describe the girl you’re talking about? What is she wearing?” I asked the 2 ladies
Please don’t answer Blue shirt and shorts!!! PLEASE!!!
“From what I saw, she seems to be wearing…” the 1st lady thought
“Wearing what?” SungYe asked, getting impatient
“Oh! I remember! If I’m not mistaken, she’s wearing a blue shirt and a pair of shorts!” the 2nd lady answered
DARN IT!!! WHY? OF ALL PEOPLE!!!! WHY MY SISTER?
“I agree!” the 1st lady answered
“Where was she dragged to?” I asked with a ‘faster-you-lady’ look
“If I’m not mistaken, she was brought near that alley! Or even on that alley” the 2nd lady answered as she points at a dark alley
“Kumowo(thanks)!” I answered as I drop all the plastic bags and runs as fast I can; not minding if I left all the things we bought and paid!!!
I was already near the alley when I heard guys punching someone!
They better not touch nor even lay a finger on my sister or else…
I ran to the alley and saw 4 guys punching a GUY!!!
And there, I saw my sister struggling to get away from a guy
Who’s this stupid and ugly jerk? Is he my sister’s kidnapper or stalker?
Anyway, I quickly punched the 4 guys punching the poor guy who must be saving my sister a while ago
This ‘poor’ guy quickly stood up and quickly charged towards the guy holding my sister’s neck and punched him
As an older brother, I should be the one protecting SungHee, my sister!
So, I slightly pulled the ‘poor’ guy and continued punching the ugly jerk
Looks like this ‘poor’ guy understood me and quickly ran and accompanied my sister (good boy!)
“That’s for touching and kidnapping my sister!!!” I said as I punched his right cheek
“That’s for bringing her in a dark and dirty alley like this!!!” I said as I punched his left cheek
“This’ is for bringing a stupid and weak group to abuse, not just a girl but also a ‘poor’ guy like him!!!” I said as I points to the mysterious guy who’s assisting my sister
I was supposed to punch him again when a hand stopped me, I looked back and saw the old cashier!!!
“Enough, my son! Enough~” she calmly stated as she let’s go of my hand and let the police officers take the bad guys away
After some minutes~
“May I ask something?” the police officer asked
“Sure, officer! What is it?” I answered
“I saw some things on their faces! I think it’s ice cream or what?” the police officer asked again
I looked at SungHee with an ‘what-should-I-say’ look
“Oh! Officer, about that! I was buying ice cream a while ago when their group came to me and ask me to go with them but I don’t like. Then they started pulling me. At that time, I don’t have a weapon so… I threw the ice creams at their faces. I was hoping that it could help me” she narrated and looked down due to embarrassment
“Oh! Is that so? Do you know these guys?” the police officer asked again while taking down notes
“Neh(yes)!!! I know their leader. His name is Jung Hyun Soo. He likes me, in short, his my admirer” she explained
“Oh! Admirer? You mean, he doesn’t court you?” he police officer asked
“Anio(no)!!! Because I don’t like to!!! And besides, I don’t like him” she answered with an irritated tone
“Arraso(alright)!!! Sir, we’ll just contact you when everything’s already fixed!” the police officer stated
“Kamsahamnida(thank you)” I thanked
“Kumowo(thank you)” SungHee also thanked
And with that the police officer left, leaving the 3 of us
Now, it’s time to know who is this person or should I say guy that can risk his life for my sister!
*EHEM* I faked a cough
“Uhmm… oppa(older brother), this is my classmate and close friend, Donghae. Donghae this is my handsome oppa(older brother), SungYe” she introduced
“Annyeongahsaeyo, sunbaenim!” Donghae greeted as he bows 90 degrees
“Annyeong! Please drop the formalities! Just call me hyung(older brother)” I replied with a warm smile
“Neh(yes), hyung(older brother)!” he gladly replied
I have to be honest, but I like him! It’s not what you think! I mean if ever he courts my sister, I’d be fine with it! He looks really nice and not to mention, he’s also handsome but not as handsome as me kekeke
“Anyway, thank you for saving my sister a while ago” I thanked him
“I actually did nothing! I mean I was a failure!” he admitted
“Anio (no)! If it weren’t because of you, something bad might have happened to my one and only sister. So I really thank you for that! You really did a good job there” I said as I taps his shoulders
“Kamsahamnida(thank you)!!!” he thanked me while bowing
“Let’s go home! Donghae, we’ll just drop you to your house!” I said and started walking

In front of Donghae’s house
“Thank you again for saving me a while ago!” SungHee thanked with a wide smile
“No problem! For someone I love!” Donghae replied with a speed
“BWO?!(what) Mworagoyo?!(I beg your pardon)” SungHee asked in disbelief
“Look, SungHee! I really liked you since we became classmates! I’ve been wanting to tell you this but I’m too shy! Actually, I don’t even know if you still call this ‘crush’ or ‘like’ because everytime I see you, I fall deeper and deeper in love with you. And now, I want to properly ask you. May I court you?” Donghae confessed
SungHee remained silent due to Donghae’s suddenly confession
She just can’t believe it! Her long time crush, likes her back!!!
“I…..” She started
“It’s ok. I understand! I can wait!” Donghae stated with a short but cute smile
“A..a.aani(no)!!! It’s just that, I was shock that YOU LIKE ME TOO!!!” SungHee answered as she waves both of her hands
“Wait! What do you mean by ‘like me too’? Do you like me back?” Donghae asked with big eyes
“Neh(yes)….” SungHee confessed as she looks down to hide her cheeks that are as red as a cherry
“Cheongmal(really)???!!! Then… may I court you?” Donghae asked again
“I would LOVE to!!!” SungHee answered
And with that, Donghae quickly hugged her and twirled her like there’s no tomorrow
“Kumowo(thank you)!!!” Donghae said as tears are forming in his eyes
She just smiled at him and happily rode his brother’s car
“Looks like, you found your new prince and savior” SungYe started as he looks at his smiling sister
“Andwae(no)!!!” SungHee happily answered
“What ‘no’? He’s your crush since your freshman year!” SungYe tried to reason out
“What I mean is that, whatever happens, you’ll forever be my prince and my knight in shining armor!” SungHee happily exclaimed
And with that SungYe started the car and drove back home
