Chapter 7

Seohyun woke up exceptionally early to prepare breakfast for Kyuhyun. She wanted to start anew, and try to be a good wife to him. “Good morning Seo!” Kyuhyun said as he walked into their kitchen. Her mood immediately lifted as she heard his gentle and cheerful voice. “Good morning, Kyu.” She turned around and was greeted by a peck on the lips by Kyuhyun. She was shocked by his sudden intimacy, and she looked down, blushing.

Kyuhyun took her in his arms and said, “You need to start getting used to this. Because I’m going to do it whenever I feel like it.” He smirked. Seohyun did not how to react, she was bursting with happiness in her heart, heart beating fast. “Kyu...just..just eat your breakfast, you’re gonna be late for work.” Still not looking at him. “Thank you, wife!” He pecked her again on her forehead and sat down. “What a sumptuous breakfast! Are you trying to make me out of shape?” Kyuhyun said. “You could use a little weight you know..” Seohyun said. She was trying hard to act like before, where she always had him speechless.

“Seo...just be yourself. I’m not used to you being all shy around me.” Kyuhyun commnted. “Yeah...I’m trying too, Kyu. It’s just that, maybe I need a little more time?” Seohyun admitted. “Of course, you have the rest of your life...unless you want to start ignoring your poor husband here.” Kyuhyun joked. “Yah Oppa!” Seohyun shouted. “That’s my Seo!” Kyuhyun smiled. “Thanks for the breakfast wife, I’m leaving for work already. Don’t bother cooking dinner, I’m bringing you out for dinner. It’s been awhile since we’ve enjoyed ourselves together.” Kyuhyun requested. “Okay Kyu, come home early. Drive safely.” She said awkwardly.

“You too, pretty.” He smiled gently and kissed her on her lips.

As Kyuhyun left, Seohyun leaned against the wall and touched her lips with her fingers. Her tears slowly rolled down her flawless face. It was tears of happiness after crying over her complicated relationship with Kyuhyun. She cleaned up the house a little before leaving to meet Yoona and the rest of the girls.

“Seohyun-ah!” Her unnies called her in unison as they saw her walking into the cafe. “Yah Seohyun-ah, why have you became thinner? Did Kyuhyun mistreat you?” Tiffany said. “No unnie, maybe I’m just tired from all these preparations, you know, everything was too sudden for me to adapt.” Seohyun explained. “Seo! Look what we’ve gotten for you!” Taeyeon took a box and passed it to Seohyun. She opened the box and found baby clothes. “Unnie...it’s still early.” Seohyun said shyly. “Yah! It’s never too early to buy your baby stuff! It’s the time where you have to start pampering them!” Taeyeon started to fuss Seohyun.”Yah Taeyeon-ah, stop spreading your mother instincts! You have been repeating that since Tiffany got engaged with Siwon!” Sooyoung shouted. “I’m going to dread marriage if you’re going to do this to each of us!”

“Okay fine! But Seo, it’s never too late! Remember that alright?” The rest of the girls burst into laughter.

“Kyuhyun-ah, how’s things between you and Seo already?” Changmin asked. “How should I say? It has already improved since last night? I guess she’s taking baby steps to accepting our status.” Kyuhyun said happily. “I can read that from your facial expression, that’s really good!” Changmin said. “Did she harass you again?” Kyuhyun said suddenly. “Well not really, though she did call me a few times begging me to get you to meet her.” Changmin said. “What?! I’m so sorry bro, it’s all because me.” Kyuhyun said apologetically. “It’s fine, as long as it does not affect you and Seohyun.” Changmin said. “Thanks bro...I really...love you a lot.” Kyuhyun said while looking into Changmin’s eyes. “YAH! I don’t want to answer to Seohyun when she comes after me with a chopper.” Changmin shoved Kyuhyun off.

Weeks passed, Seohyun and Kyuhyun’s relationship gradually became more like a couple. They were able to communicate much more naturally. In short, they were living in bliss. Their baby was very healthy and she was into her 3^rd month of pregnancy.
