Three antique French-cut glass ceiling-mounted chandeliers each lit with 18 candles illuminated the large room filled with the most sophisticated and wealthiest people in town.

Jessica Jung, the only daughter of Mr. Calvin Jung and also the birthday celebrant was clad in a crystal encrusted red Chiffon Tiered and Ruffle Gown. Beside her was her well-distinguished father.

"Happy Birthday, Miss Jessica. You look so great tonight"

"Thank you, Mr. Smith. I'm glad you made it here" Jessica smiled brightly.

"You're fortunate to have a very lovely daughter" Mr. Smith told her father.

Mr. Jung laughed. "I am proud to be her father"

Jessica furtively tugged her father's sleeves. "Dad, Taeyeon's already there. I need to go"

"Oh, okay. Tell her I'll see her later okay?"

Jessica nodded and smiled before excusing herself from the two men.

She walks towards the table Taeyeon was occupying and hide behind her back. She playfully put her hands over her eyes.

"Guess who?"

Taeyeon chuckled as she plays along and tapped her bottom lip.

"Hmm... Let me think of it. Your hands are soft and you smell so nice. Just like my baby sister... so I guess it's you Sica'chu"

Jessica bit her bottom lip before eventually sighing and releasing Taeyeon's eyes.

She sat on the chair beside Taeyeon's and crosses her arms across her chest.

"I'm not a baby anymore and I'm not your sister" she pouted.

"Hey, hey... This is your night. Don't be so grumpy. And besides, we grew up together so you're like a sister to me"

"But I don't want to be JUST your sister!"

"Huh?" Taeyeon confusingly raised a brow.

Jessica rolled her eyes as she aimed to walk away when Taeyeon stop her wrist.

"Yah, Sica..." Taeyeon stood up and hug Jessica. "Sorry. I forgot again that you're a lady now. Happy birthday" she said, smiling as she drew a small box from her pocket and hand it to Jessica.

"What's this?" she asked as she opened the box. "Omo--this is for me?"

Taeyeon smiled. She pulled the bracelet out of the box and wears it on Jessica's wrist.

"Thank you, Taeyeon. This is so--"

"So beautiful. Like you" she wiggled her brows.

Jessica giggled and pulled Taeyeon onto another hug.

Taeyeon hugged the celebrant back, gently rubbing Jessica's back when her eyes saw a figure of a very familiar girl.

'It's her! What is she doing here?'

Taeyeon's eyes followed Tiffany as the latter stood beside an old man, who is probably in his 60's.

Tiffany snatched the glass of drink from him and shook her head.

'What the--'

"Taeyeon?" Jessica curiously looked at Taeyeon. She followed the direction of her eyes. "Do you know them?"

Taeyeon gulped. "N-no... Do you know them?" she asked back.

Jessica smiles. "That man is Mr. George Williams. He is the owner of Williams Group of Companies"

Taeyeon nodded. "And the girl? Is she his daughter?"

"No. He's an unmarried man. He doesn't have any child. But I heard from dad that he's always in news for being an old womanizer"

"So--you mean that, that girl can be one of his women?"

"I don't know... Maybe. Or maybe not. She looks so--"

"Fragile... Innocent and Young"

Jessica raised a brow, accusingly poking Taeyeon's chest. "You like her, don't you?"

"What?" Taeyeon pretended to chuckle. "No. No Sica... Haha... No"

"Then why are you so curious about her?"

'Why are you so curious about her Tae? Do you...like her?'

Taeyeon, herself was unaware of the reason. But all she knows is that, she wants to get to know Tiffany.

Why and How?

It will be for her to find out.

"I'm not curious about her. Maybe about that Mr. George" she lied just to end the conversation while her eyes kept on glancing at Tiffany's direction.

She frowned when another familiar figure caught her sight.

'It's her! The rude girl!'

"George, I told you, you are not allowed to drink alcohol" Tiffany said, shaking her head as she snatched the glass of wine from his grip.

He chuckled and snatched back the glass. "Just this one, okay? This will be the last for tonight. I promise" he said and didn't risk the chance as he quickly gulped the liquid down to his throat.

"Tch. Stubborn" she smiled. "That's the last time I'll let you drink, alright?"

"Yeah. Yeah"

"Excuse me" a sudden intruding caused the two to look at the tall woman at their front.

"Yes? What can I do for you?" he inquired.

"I'm Yuri. Kwon Yuri. I'm from Korea and I'm one of those lucky educatees who passed your scholarship examination, Mr. Williams. I just want to thank you for the opportunity of being a student in Chames" she said confidently, at times glancing and smiling at Tiffany.

Tiffany smiled back, impressed at the girl's confidence and fluency in English.

"Oh. You are Kwon Yuri" he smiled and tapped her shoulder. "I heard so much about you Ms. Kwon. I know how you easily passed my 900 items scholarship examination"

Yuri smiled. "I am very much thankful to you Mr. Williams" she bowed.

"You deserve it Yuri and I'm looking up on working with you in the future" he said and handed her his calling card. "Just in case you need a part time job or when you graduated, you can just contact me and I will be glad to have you in my company"

Yuri accepted the card, her smile remains. "Thank you so much Mr. Williams and I would certaintly want to work under a respectable person like you"

He nodded. "Oh by the way Yuri, meet my companion for tonight" he said then smiled at Tiffany. "Tiffany this is Yuri, and Yuri this is Tiffany"

The two shook hands, with Yuri's eyes filled with admiration as she stares at Tiffany.
