Still unwilling to open his eyes, he turns to his right hoping to receive another warm embrace from her, his forever sweetheart but his hand reach for nothing. He can feel that the bed is already empty. She's up. With much reluctance, he finally opens his eyes and the first thing that greets him is the cotton white ceiling high above the room. After 5 minutes, he manages to lift his back from the comfy, warm mattress, finally sitting at the edge of the bed.

 

Through the white lace curtain hanging before the glass door of the balcony, the bright rays of morning sun shyly penetrates in. Downstairs, he can hear the distant sound of someone frying something on the stove. A smile creep upon his lips, she's making him breakfast.

 

 

Smelling the distant scent of cologne, Tiffany cracks a smile "Morning," she greets eyes still on the French toast on the pan.

 

"Morning," Taecyeon answers, slowly sliding his arms around that waist before placing a kiss on her shoulders. "How come you still look beautiful in an apron?"

 

"I do?" Tiffany peeks to her behind, playing along with his cheekiness. She knows what he wants.

 

"Urm," Taecyeon nods, smiling eagerly.

 

"If so…" Tiffany turn off the stove and turns around. Looking right into his eyes, she leans closer before she suddenly slip away from that embrace and runs to the dining table, plate of French toast in hand "…let's have breakfast!"

 

Taecyeon left dumbfounded before he chuckles. "You got me,"

"Anything left?" Tiffany asks, hand efficiently finishing the last turn of the necktie.

 

"Nope. I'm ready. Thanks for the breakfast," Taecyeon kiss that forehead before he reaches for his Hyundai Grandeur.

 

Tiffany just watch him walks away with a restraint smile. He forgot it.

 

Opening his car's door, Taecyeon stops before turning to look at his fiancé. "Fany honey,"

 

"Yes?" the smile on her face stays the same.

 

"Are you really planning to make me miss my morning kiss today?"

 

Tiffany burst into laughter straight away. Just when she thought he totally forgot about it. "I thought you forget but I don’t think so,"

 

"You know I won't," Taecyeon naughty smiles slowly spring.

 

Tiffany walks over, leaning closer and peck his lips. "There you go,"

 

"Thanks baby," Taecyeon peck her lips back before he slips into the car. "See you at dinner!" he manages to shout out loud through the opening of his car's window before disappearing through the gate.

Taecyeon looks up to both hopeful faces in front of him. "You know my engagement ceremony is less than a month right?"

 

Nods.

 

"So?" he asks, eyebrows rising.

 

"This is one in a lifetime offer Taec. Please, I'll kneel if you want," Jaebum plead.

 

Taecyeon is clearly displease when he scowls "You can always go Khun,"

 

"I know, we both know, but this is too big of an offer to send me or Jay. We're not trying to blackmail your engagement ceremony or something but clearly you're the best architect this firm has ever had," Nichkhun reasoned.

 

"I'll beg Fany for you," Jaebum offer, desperately hoping for Taecyeon to agree.

 

Taecyeon laugh spontaneously "Fany is not like that Jay. You know that,"

 

"Then please?" Jaebum display his best puppy face, at the same time nudging Nichkhun beside him.

 

Taecyeon doesn't answer. His mind is still juggling the decision when Nichkhun asks ever so sincerely "Please Taec, for us?"

 

Heaving out a weighty sigh, Taecyeon reread the paperwork in front of him "I'm not promising you guys anything but I'll discuss this with Fany,"

 

"Oh Taec!" almost automatic Jaebum jump towards Taecyeon pulling him into a big hug shouting in joy "Thank you Taec. You're the best friend ever!".

 

"Hey, I never said I'll go, I said I'll discuss it with Fany first,"

 

"Yeah, but still you're the best," Jaebum smile reaching his ears.

 

"Thanks Taec. We owe you big time," Nichkhun smile along Jaebum.

Her fingers are efficiently running on the keyboard when she heard the sound of the door cracking open. Looking up from the notebook screen, her smile blooms right away "Isak unnie!"

 

"I just ask you to take care of the gallery not to strain yourself to the extent of skipping every lunch you can," Isak steps in smiling, hand carrying a bag of packed lunch.

 

Tiffany laughs leisurely "I'm just finishing some order, nothing much,"

 

"Whatever order it is…" Isak moves beside Tiffany, save the unfinished document and putting the notebook on a sleep mode before she softly push Tiffany to the sofa located in the middle of the office "…let's have lunch first, ok?"

 

Sitting across Tiffany, Isak sort out the food on the coffee table "Help yourself,"

 

"GOD, unnie," eyeing all the delicacies in front of her, Tiffany eyes grow bigger "There's plenty of it, how could I finish all of this?"

 

"You can just take them home after this," Isak smiles warmly.

 

"Unnie…" Tiffany voice tone down, feeling extremely grateful.

 

"There's no need to thank me, you've been doing so much for me and this gallery these past 4 years. I'm the one grateful," Isak assures, at the same time picking up a piece of meat before giving it to Tiffany.

 

"But still, thank you for the meal unnie,"

 

"It's nothing dear," Isak smiles. "So, how is it going with the engagement ceremony?"

 

A blissful smile made its way to Tiffany's lips fast. Her eyes twinkle before she answers "Just perfect,"

 

Noticing how Tiffany eyes sparkle when she talks about her coming engagement, Isak asks thankfully "You really are happy don't you?"

 

"I do," Tiffany admit without the slightest hesitation. Who on earth wouldn't? Getting engaged to the person they love most, anybody would.

 

"If so, I'm happy for you," Isak smile along watching how happy the girl is "And I think I should inform granny that she has no choice but to send uncle here to deliver the painting,"

 

"No choice?" Tiffany question.

 

"It's nothing important really," Isak assures "Granny just want to meet you. Well, she really is thankful on how much effort you put on this gallery. As I told you before, this gallery is Grandpa's dream and you willingly helping me with it when it barely survive, Granny really want to thanks you herself,"

 

"Oh…" Tiffany is a little surprise. Never before it ever cross her mind that her help bring so much meaning to the Choi family. For her, she just doing it for Isak, that woman have always been like her own sister and she thinks by lending her expertise to the gallery she could at least repay bit of her kindness.

 

"It's alright Miyoung. Don't think too much,"

 

"No, but unnie…if she really wants to meet me, I can spend some time for it,"

 

"Really? I thought you'd be busy preparing for the ceremony,"

 

Tiffany smiles. "Almost 95% of it is done, and knowing Taec, I know he'll be okay with it,"

 

"Oh sweetie, thank you for your consideration. Wait till I tell granny, she'll be ecstatic!" Isak can already imagine how overjoyed the woman would be when she hears the news.

 

 

 

One word first, sorry. I'm terribly sorry for this so so so late first chapter. I've been busy with university and currently I am undergoing my practical session. Working office hours from Monday to Friday, I'm totally tired. My weekend is filled with chores and etc. and to squeeze my brain to write is the last thing I would do but since the idea is now flooding, I have no choice. I need to write or I'll forget it by morning.

 

Okay, done with all the talk. I don't know what do you think about this very first chapter so I would really appreciate if all of you my dear subscribers could toss your thoughts about it^^
