My 29th Shutter: The Unforgotten Love

Just then, DJ moved his body and was making some soft sound, I looked at him, “Oppa? Are you awake? Oppa?” I asked.

DJ was trying to reach for my hand and I grabbed his, “Oppa, I am here. Geokjeonghaji maseyo.” I said.

*Translations: Don't worry.*

DJ slowly opened his eyes, “Min Ah..” He said with a really weak voice.

“Oppa, don't say anything yet. Have a drink. ” I adjusted the position of the bed and passed DJ a cup of water.

DJ had a sip and looked at me, “What happened?” He asked.

“You forgot what happened?” I asked, “Oppa, you fainted in the washroom just now due to high fever.” I said.

DJ felt something pressurizing on his head, I placed an ice-bag over his forehead, “Does it feel better now?” I asked.

He nodded, “Komawo.” He said.

YS came back with the drinks, “Hyung, you are awake? Are you feeling better now?” YS asked.

DJ was obviously shocked when he saw YS, “Who are you? Min Ah, is he a friend of yours?” DJ looked at me and asked.

I was stunned with his question, “Oppa, you don't know who is he?” I asked with disbelief.

“Do I have to know him?” DJ asked innocently.

“Oppa, do you remember who are you?” I asked.

“Of course! I am Yoon Doojoon, you are Seo Min Ah, I remembered.” He proves that he remembers.

“Then do you remember you were the Leader of a famous male group, BEAST?” I asked to verify.

“BEAST? ... Ah..!” DJ felt like his head was gonna explode.

We called the doctors and after the check, they found out DJ had temporary amnesia.

“I believe it's just a short-term loss of memory, talk to him more and I believe he will be fine soon.” The doctor instructed.

YS looked at DJ, “Hyung..” His eyes were all teary, “How could you forget me??” He asked.

DJ felt pain on his chest, indeed their brotherhood were strong, “Mianhae.” He said.

YS hugged DJ, “Please don't forget us, we need you as our leader.” YS said.

“YS oppa, we should let DJ oppa rest.” I said and YS nodded.

I was planning to leave the room and it was just then, DJ grabbed my hands, “Kajimaseyo.” He said.

I looked at him, (*MA's POV: I can't find a way to reject him now..*)

“Ne oppa, I will stay, don't worry.” I said with a smile and sat beside him.

I removed the ice-bag on his forehead, “Oppa, please get well soon.” I said and I looked at him slowly falling into deep sleep.

YS informed the rest of them about DJ's condition and they made the way down too.

I went out to meet all of them, DW came by my side, “Everything will be fine, Hyung will surely recover soon.” He said.

I nodded, “DJ oppa should rest for the time being. Is there any upcoming practice or anything?” I asked.

JH was thinking hard, “Oh yes! There's a LIVE performance tomorrow.” He said and then felt really worried.

“Live? Where's uncle Kim?” I asked.

“He went on to settle some problems with tomorrow's performance, I've informed him about DJ, the performance might be cancelled.” HS replied.

“DJ hyung has been preparing us for this comeback performance, why not we try talking to him later?” DW suggested.

Everyone nodded and agreed, “Guys, I will stay and take care of DJ. You guys can go back first, bring the girls along.” JH said.

YS stood beside JH, “I will stay too.” YS was really worried about DJ.

“I should stay, DJ oppa only remembers me now, I should be by his side.” I said.

“I will stay too, hyung should bring the girls back.” DW said.

And we took turns taking care of DJ till the next morning...

I was the last one to take care of DJ and so I fell asleep while sitting by his side, DJ slowly opened his eyes and looked around at me and the three other members.

DJ place his hands gently on my head, “Annyeong.” He said with a gentle voice too.

I woke up and was glad that he was feeling better, “Oppa, have a drink.” I passed him a glass of water.

DJ looked at the three of them sleeping, “What are they doing here?” He asked.

“Oppa, do you remember who are they?” I asked?

He nodded, “Of course! I am their leader, we are even having our comeback stage today.” He said and wanted to get out of his bed.

I stopped him, “Min Ah, help oppa place a blanket over YS. He is weaker among us.” DJ said.

And so I did, the rest of them came at 7am and they were glad that DJ recovered his memory overnight.

“Hyung~~You scared me!” YS gave him a tight hug.

“Mianhae, don't worry about me anymore. How's the schedule for today? JH, did you check with the manager?” DJ asked.

“DJ arh, you just recovered from a high fever..” JH said, He hadn't had the time to finish and DJ cut his words.

“I am already fine. I wouldn't want to disappoint our fans.” He said.

“Hyung, I heard that you only remembered Min Ah yesterday?” HS asked, feeling jealous probably.

“I could never forget her.” DJ said it right at my face.

I was at a loss of what to do..

DW came by my side, “Min Ah, let's go for breakfast, you haven't eaten since last night.” And then we left after saying goodbye.
