chapter twenty-three 

 staking her out, not stalking

JinYoung's POV

'JinYoung hyung! YongJoo is dating with Minhyuk. I saw them here in Gangnam-gu'

Baro sent me a message this Saturday during noon.

'Wait for me there.' I replied.

I hurriedly went to their house. I ducked into CNU's room. He sat at his desk, pecking on his computer keyboard. He didn’t look around at me either, but he asked, “Yes?”

“Let’s go,” I said.

“Go where?”

 “On Yoongie's date with Lee Minhyuk.” Now he looked at me over the nerdy spectacles he wears. “I wasn’t aware it was a double date. And you’re not my type.”

 “Cut the nonsense and let’s go. We’ve probably lost her already. We have to make sure that Minhyuk will not do anything on her.”

He opened his mouth.

“ShinWoo!” I hollered. “Come on.”

He kept his mouth open and raised his eyebrows. When it became clear to me that he was not going anywhere until I let him talk, and clear to him that I was not going to interrupt him again, he finally said, “You're jealous, aren't you?"

"No. Let's go. Aren't you a protective brother?" I protested.

He hurriedly get ready and we fetch GongChan since Sandeul already is there.

"I'm getting excited." GongChan almost jumped on his seat.

"Should we tie him first or just knock him off?" CNU grinned at me. "JinYoung looks jealous."

"I'm jealous too," GongChan winked.

 

YongJoo's POV

"Should we watch movie?" Minhyuk shyly rubbed his nape.

"On a nice day like this?"

"How about to the mall? You like shopping, right?" The back of our hands were touching until he intertwined our fingers. "I'm sorry if you're not having fun with me."

"Huh?" I think I'm lost in thought. "No. We haven't even started. I will enjoy. Promise."

"Are you sure you're alright?" I nodded

 

JinYoung's POV

"Hyung, we've been looking for them for years," Sandeul whined.

"Aren't you contented at what you're munching?" Aish! Where are they?

"I just called her and I think they're here at this mall. It's very quiet." GongChan said.

"Wait," CNU stopped. He pointed something. "Look."

"They're having fun." Baro nudged me.

 

YongJoo's POV

I've learn things about him.

"Have you done this?" He bites a hole at the ice cream cone and sips the ice cream.

I laughed. "You shouldn't do that. It might drip on your clothes."

"YongJoo!" Sandeul and GongChan approach us. GongChan gave Minhyuk a high five. They're friends?

"What are you doing here?"

"Shopping." Something looks or feels suspicious about them.

"We should go." GongChan wrapped his arm around Sandeul's neck. "Bye."

"Where should we go next?" He asked.

"I'm hungry. And since we're near the grocery let's stop there."

 

JinYoung's POV

I took a peak at the binoculars. Aish! Sandeul and GongChan are unreliable.

"Jung JinYoung!" I looked around. My classmates.

"What's with the binoculars?” JongMin asked.

"We're staking YongJoo out." I answered.

"Really? What we see is you're stalking."

"Staking."

"Stalking."

"They're going to the grocery store." CNU said. "Aish! Are they acting like a married couple?"

"Let's go!" Baro grabbed me and ran.

"Let's get a cart, too." Sandeul said. "So we'll not look suspicious."

"Omo." GongChan whispered. "His hand is on noona's waist."

"JinYoung hyung, are you sure you're not jealous?" Baro pointed at my hand. My fist is balled in anger.

"I'm a little jealous." I admit.

"We should pay this now." Sandeul gave me a smile of teasing.

"I told you. We really should date pretty girls for you to forget her."

"Here's the truth." I told Baro. "We really don't have a real relationship. We lied to you."

"But you liked her." GongChan smirked.

"No, I didn't. My mind liked her not me or my heart." Wow. I said that?

"See." CNU shook his head while laughing.

 

YongJoo's POV

"So, did you have fun?" He asked as he gave me my drink. I just nod as a reply.

"Jinjja? Can we do this again?"

"Sure." I smiled.

'Uhmm, YongJoo," he bowed his head. "You must know how much I like you."

How will I reply to these things?

 

JinYoung's POV

"What are they talking about?" I asked.

"Hyung, you're fidgeting." Baro pushed my shoulders down. "And relax."

"Hyung don't punch us. Alright?" GongChan held my fist.

I took a look again at them through my binoculars.

"No!" I yelled. Why did she let him?

"What? What happened?" CNU asked.

They are kissing.

"They are kissing," Sandeul whispered.
