Kevin flew backwards and staggered, before he regained his balance. He stared at L.Joe ridiculously, not at all understanding the former's rage.

"What are you doing?" Kevin demanded, his soft and kitteny side of him disappearing fast.

L.Joe clenched his fists and glared at Kevin fiercely. "I know what you're doing, Kevin hyung." he mustered angrily. "I know that you know. And I know you like her. But I'm not backing down."

Kevin frowned. "Wait...you know what?" he stared in disbelief.

L.Joe crossed his arms. "I know that you already know Mihye and I signed a contract for this marriage. That there hadn't been any love between us. That she's going to go free when the six month's up."

Kevin frowned. "So?" he asked, the inital surprise wearing off. "What difference does it make?"

L.Joe took a step closer to Kevin and glared. "It makes a hell lot of difference because now you're acting like she's not married to me. Because you're practically trying to steal her under my nose."

Kevin rolled his eyes. "Steal?" he snorted. "Mihye isn't yours to begin with Byunghun." he grumbled.

L.Joe's face fell. "Y-yeah." he bit his lip. He collected his cool and strode towards Kevin, grabbing a fist full of his hyung's shirt.

"But I don't care." L.Joe looked the angriest Kevin had ever seen since they were young. "I'm not going to let you steal her away. I don't care if this marriage isn't real yet, because I'll do everything to make it real. I won't let her leave my side."

Kevin looked confused. "But why?" he blurted. "You don't love her! You already love anoth-" he stopped before he could reveal too much to L.Joe.

L.Joe seethed. "I. Love. Her." he spat every word. "I love her, and I'm going to keep her because I love her more than myself. I won't let you steal her away, hyung. Your childish attempts aren't going to work."

With that, he stormed away.

"Hyung, don't drink so much..." Changjo muttered worriedly.

The Teen Top members were really worried for L.Joe as he downed sink after drink. He seemed not to notice how much alcohol he was consuming, only bent on cursing under his breath and growling at random objects.

CAP sighed and put his cup down. "Come on, Byunghun. Spill." he demanded. "You can't just want us to come drinking with you and not share your troubles with us. It's just not right."

L.Joe swirled the ice in his cup and stared at it like it was the most interesting thing he has ever seen. "I thought I had a chance." he muttered.

The members looked at each other confusedly.

"I thought Mihye and I shared something special." L.Joe confessed. "I thought that even if she wasn't already in love with me, she'd be near there. I thought if I loved her, she'd love me back too. But now I'm not too sure anymore."

The Teen top members gasped. "So you're saying...you don't like the Queen anymore and you like Mihye?" Chunji repeated in disbelief.

L.Joe shook his head. "Idiot. I love her." he snapped irritably.

Niel and Ricky looked at each other with wide eyes. "That's wonderful news!" Niel cheered. "I always thought you should choose Mihye noona over everyone!"

Ricky looked at L.Joe confusedly. "But what makes you say that?" he pondered. "I thought Mihye noona was rather nice and thoughtful to you. She'd always pay special attention to you. You always have a chance, Hyung."

L.Joe shook his head. "That's what I thought too...but nowadays she's always avoiding me. I don't know why. And she doesn't meet my eyes. She smiled but it doesn't reach her ears. She's just not the same Mihye to me anymore."

He sighed. "And moreover, Kevin hyung's doing a great job ing us. I'm really afraid that he might steal her away for real." his voice cracked. "I don't think I can handle that. Scratch that. I'm sure I can't." he sighed.

The Teen Top members gazed at L.Jor empathetically. "You just have to try harder, Byunghun." CAP encouraged. "Until the day that she admits she's in love with Kevin, you still have a chance."

"Yeah hyung. Hwaiting." Changjo beamed.

L.Joe snorted in laughter at the maknae's attempt at aegyo. He sighed. "This love business is so much harder than solving gender issues as the Knight." he muttered.

Behind him, another guy raised his brows in interest. *So Choi Mihye is the Queen and Lee Byunghun is the knight? Interesting...*

Kevin had been standing rooted at the stable for a long time. He gaped at where L.Joe had stormed off and glance down at his now crumpled shirt.

From what he knew of L.Joe, he was calm and cool most of the time. He never did anything rashly and he thought through things before he did them. Never once did Kevin see L.Joe do something out of urge or rage.

 And what L.Joe wants, he'll get. Not so much because he was rich though. His parents doted on him, but they didn't grant his every request like all the other rich parents out there. He got what he wanted because he tried, and he strived for what he wanted.

And that was what made Kevin so scared.

"If Byunghun really loves Mihye..." Kevin whispered. "He'll get Mihye. There's no way he'll give Mihye up unless Mihye herself specifically said so."

Kevin bit his lip as his completely hopeless situation set in. He had thought he had a chance when he found that L.Joe and Mihye's marriage was a contract marriage. He thought he could actually make Mihye fall for him.

But apparently not. Because he lost out in so many areas from the beginning.

L.Joe was her husband. He was her best friend. He was her first crush. He was her everything and he's sill becoming more.

He broke Mihye's heart for another woman, and Kevin had cursed the man, albeit a little relieved.

But now he found out that the woman he left the Queen for, was also the same woman in question. It was Mihye.

There was no question that L.Joe loved Mihye. The way he got angry so quickly and became rash. The way his eyes were livid and he looked really hurt and determined for the first time. The way he said her name, the way his face would soften at the mention of her...

He was in this as deep as Kevin was.

Kevin clenched his fists. *Even if Mihye loves you and you love her back, I'm not going to just lose like that, Byunghun.* he thought. *I'd do everything to ensure she doesn't go to you.*
