Narrator’s POV

Everyone was at the hospital in France when Junsu called them and told them what had happened to Ri In.

“How could you do this to Li Yin?” asked Jae Joong, holding up the collar of Junsu’s shirt. He was about to punch Junsu when Yunho came in between those two just in time. He pulled Jae Joong away.

“Jae Joong, you can’t do this! I bet Ri In will feel very sad if she sees you doing this,” Yunho said.

“Pfft. Pathetic, doesn’t he know that Ri In really likes soccer? She would do anything to be able to play soccer and now Junsu leaves her on the street making her have a possible chance of losing her leg. Can’t he be more responsible?” said Jae Joong and relaxed a bit. Yunho, seeing that let go of his grip on Jae Joong.

Ri In’s POV

I was in the operation room. I was sweating badly. It hurt like hell. I could tell that the doctor’s were trying there hardest not to make me hurt. It was so painful that tears were forming in my eyes. But when I remembered Junsu’s face, I kept bearing the pain. I need to look after my leg so I might get a chance to play soccer with Junsu. I missed the smile on his face when we used to play soccer. How long ago was it? Well, about less than a week ago. How could time fly by so fast? Junsu used to be cheery until I married him. All those time when we were at our honey moon, he would have one of those faces. A face I would never want him to have. Suddenly, my leg had stopped bearing a little pain.

“Your leg will be fine. The doctors are letting you rest a bit since you are very tired. The rest will be no more than one minute, OK? Take this chance to breathe in and out,” the Korean doctor told me. I breathed in and out. All I could think of now was Junsu. The pain became stronger and stronger now. I guess they have started working on my leg again. But should I just give up? Why would there be a reason that I want to have an operation on my leg when Junsu will not ever play soccer with me? But no, I have to have a good leg so I won’t be a burden to him. Anyway, I don’t want to stay at home all day. I clenched my teeth in pain. I clenched it so tight that it was starting to hurt.

Outside the operation room…

Narrator’s POV

They have been waiting for hours outside the hospital room. They heard no sound and started to get worried. They all admitted in their heads that, if they were to be in this situation, they will cry of pain. Not like Ri In, not having a sound come out of her. A little while later, the doors opened, revealing the pale Ri In, lying on the bed. She opened her eyes for a while and saw Junsu’s face. She was happy, seeing that Junsu was there and put on a weak smile that had a strong feeling behind it. Ri In was very tired and fainted, leaving the nurses pushing her away. Junsu just stood there, looking as they carried her further and further away.

“Her operation went fine. But during the operation, she kept repeating the words: Junsu. Well, I will be going now,” the doctor said and took his leave. Junsu just stood there, asking himself why Ri In would call his name.

The next day…

Ri In’s POV

“Li Yin! We are going home today!” Jae Joong shouted with glee.

“B-but I can’t walk. I need some rest,” I said.

“That’s okay. One of us will carry you,” Yoochun said.

“Bwoh!?” I exclaimed. I knew that Junsu wouldn’t carry me but then if one of them carries me, then it would feel quite awkward.

“I will carry you!” Jae Joong suggested.

“Ahem, ahem,” Junsu coughed.

“Oh, oops, sorry,” Jae Joong apologised.

“You will be sitting in a wheel chair too though,” Yunho said. Good, I didn’t need someone to carry me around. Phew. Suddenly, Junsu walked up and carried me up in bridal style.

“Huh?” I said. He then placed me on the wheel chair and started pushing me on the wheel chair. I smiled secretly when Junsu did that. On our way there, I fell asleep.

Junsu’s POV

I don’t know why I my heart hurt when Jae Joong offered to carry Ri In. I looked down at Ri In and she was sleeping. We arrived at the airport shortly after.

“Ri In-shii! Wake up!” I hissed at her, trying to make her wake up.

“Five more minutes,” she said, waving her hands in front of my face. I turned away. I didn’t bother to wake her up now.

“Jae Joong, wake her up, will you?” I asked.

“Alright,” he agreed and then walked to where Ri In was.

“Li Yin! Wake up! If you don’t wake up then I will take your soccer ball away from you!” Jae Joong teased. Surprisingly, she immediately opened her eyes.

“Yah! Don’t tease me like that!” Ri In shouted at Jae Joong. Jae Joong just laughed. She reached out, trying to hit Jae Joong but failed miserably, because she was sitting in a wheel chair.

“Come on! The plane is not going to wait for us!” Yoochun yelled at us. Jae Joong grabbed the wheel chair and pushed Ri In a long while I was standing behind, limping after them.

After the long trip of the plane, we finally arrived back in Korea. We all went to the graduation party while Ri In stayed at home. She couldn’t go because of her leg. She is going to our new home and staying there with the maids. Omma bought us a new home, which was a bit smaller than ours. It was double story. It had the stairs facing the door. If you walk in a bit further and turn right then you will see the lounge room and if you turn left in the hall way then you will face the kitchen. There were endless rooms upstairs, all facing to the front door. In the kitchen, there was a door that leads out to the stairs, a short cut to the stairs. Next to the door was a dining area. Everything was fully furnished.

Finally it was time for the graduation party. The graduation party was not that special, it was like a party where everyone would pace around the place, eating and stuff. Nothing special.

I was walking around the place in the graduation party. I was a student after all. Anyway, when I was walking around, I saw Han Kyung, Junsu’s enemy.

“Hey! Junsu!” someone called Junsu. He turned around, only to face Han Kyung.

“What do you want?” asked Junsu, coldly.

“Where’s Ri In?” asked Han Kyung.

“Why would you want to know? Hitting on my wife?” Junsu asked.

“To be honest, I am. From the way you treat her, you don’t deserve to have her!” Han Kyung shouted, making all the guest turn to face him. Junsu was fuming, with his hands balled into fist, making his knuckles white.

“Don’t you dare go close to her!” Junsu hissed in Han Kyung’s ear.

“Boys, what is happening?” the principle asked, when he saw the commotion here.

“Oh, nothing. I am sorry, principle, I will come visit some other time. I will have to leave now. Sorry for bothering you,” Han Kyung apologised.

“That’s okay. It’s a pleasure having one of our old students came here and visits,” the principle said.

“Okay, I will be going now. Bye!” Han Kyung said. The principle smiled, as in saying ‘bye’.

Han Kyung got out, nearing the exit, I heard him say into his phone: “Find Jang Ri In, for me. Immediately! I want to come to her house,”

I gasped. What was he trying to do? I was going to talk to Junsu but there was someone interrupting me, so I had to deal with that person. I will have to tell Junsu later.
